The day of the treatment I felt relaxed the next day I felt really good with a lot of energy. I really had a lot of energy

So I did the Halo Therapy, as well as a Float Therapy session back to back. My review for each is as follows: Halo: I went with a friend so she did the salt bed. I myself sat in sauna like glass container thing. I read a magazine and got to see little tiny salt crystals floating around. It wasn't hard to breath or anything inside, I believe i sat for 15 or 20 mins. Floatation: I'm a dancer and made the unfortunate choice to wear a sequined outfit the night before that left little micro scratches along my arms and butt. So as you can imagine as soon as I hopped in the salt water I was burning. I ignored it and was eventually able to relax in the pod. Not completely though because of my scratches. So please be advised not to enter with cuts. Once inside they played music with dolphin and ocean noises. I had a noodle to rest my neck on. My girlfriend I was with was so relaxed in her pod she fell asleep which is not uncommon I guess. Afterward I went somewhere else to get a massage, the massage therapist said she didn't feel any tension or knots and I believe it was due to the previous sessions at the float center. I slept like a baby that night. The staff was informative and friendly. I would recommend having more products in the changing area. The products they did have we're natural based from whole foods so that was a plus. read more

I signed up for the two week trail of Halo therapy with the intention of improving my skin, I've been having break outs like crazy for some reason that were lasting for weeks at a time. Entering the facility is so tranquil, the staff is extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and the fish tank is just beautiful. During my first treatment I noticed I started to feel pressure in my chest, then a few minute into it that pressure released and I was suddenly taking deeper, longer breathes. I knew that it was supposed to help with respiratory functions too but I didn't realize that I would benefit from that because I didn't think I had any mucus in my lungs (I mean how was I really supposed to know anyway). Within the first few sessions my breakouts disappeared and going to the gym and doing cardio became 100% easier. I would recommend this treatment to anyone and everyone because everyone can benefit from breathing better. Can't wait to start floating! read more

What an amazing experience! My boyfriend and I came here for the float tank and ended up trying the halotherapy as well. It was our first time for each type of session and we are extremely pleased. The float tank was peaceful and relaxing and we came out feeling calm yet energized and in a great mood. The facility is brand new and completely spotless as far as sanitation goes. The staff was professional, friendly and spent a lot of one on one time with us before and after the session to answer our questions and explain how everything works as well as the short and long term results we can expect to see. I went home and took a nap a few hours after the session and had the best sleep I've had in a very long time. My usual daily anxiety had faded too. I was visiting Las Vegas for a convention. Between the flight down, the air conditioning, the smoke in the casinos, and the dry desert air, my sinuses and lungs were a mess by day four. I'm a regular visitor to my local halotherapy room and knew that I needed to get into a salt room asap. I found Float Centers of Nevada through Yelp. Their hours of operation and prices were reasonable plus I could try floating while I was there! This was a 5-star experience. Owner Travis is knowledgeable and friendly, the space is beautiful and relaxing, and there is no detail forgotten. I ended up being late so I did my float before my halotherapy. Travis was thorough in his explanation of the float and provided a number of very useful tips to enhance my experience. There were no surprises, including what I could expect when the float was over. The video is one that's provided with the tanks and doesn't show the Float Centers' space but it confirmed everything Travis said and provided helpful illustrations of various float positions and what the benefits were. The float itself was awesome. Exactly as advertised and ridiculously relaxing. My halotherapy session was different than I'm used to. My place is a large room that seats 6. Float Centers has individual "booths" that you sit in alone. I think that if I had a skin condition that I was trying to resolve, I would like the solo booth better but I kind of missed the ability to lounge. I highly recommend this business and, if I'm back in Las Vegas, I'll definitely visit again. read more

I kept telling myself that I'm going to go down there and try floating. I read about all the great benefits. Today I dragged myself out of bed with excruciating back pain and decided that today is a good day to see what the hype is about. What a clean facility with friendly staff. I went in barely able to move around and left being able to touch my toes. I'm not saying I'm cured and %100 but I feel much better than I did when I woke up. I have been a regular at Float Centers Nevada since not long after my very first float several months ago. Like many, I was first exposed to the. float concept through the Joe Rogan podcast and decided to give it a shot. Thankfully, I was fortunate enough to find this business as my first experience. Since becoming a regular and getting to know Travis (the owner, and fellow UFC fan and Joe Rogan enthusiast), I've made it a point during my travels to check out local float businesses and with rare exceptions not many have lived up to great experience at Float Centers Nevada. So what is so great? Well besides the fact that Travis really cares about the experience had by each and every one of his customers (trust me I've seen it first hand many times), you notice the attention to details with the temperature of the pods, the fact that I've never had the water leak on me in the pod, I have the option of listening to music (my own), which is not common at all in my experience and the fact that Travis and his wife also float themselves. So they know the ins and outs of it very well. For instance, they stock a high quality type of protein bar now because many customers would come out of the expertise very relaxed but many times very hungry. Too many factors to write to be honest. Travis even shows a video to prepare first time floaters for the experience and gives them pointers. I could go on and on, but if you are curious about floating give it a shot and Float Centers of Nevada is the place to goto in Las Vegas trust me. It may or may not be a weird first experience -- it was weird for me but give it 2 or 3 times to get used to it. Personally, I really look forward to my sessions as simply a way to relax, enhance my meditation practice and also to let my body recover as well. read more

First time floating. As in I've never floated before in my life, I have more muscle that makes me not so buoyant. I checked in and was taken to watch a video on how to relax and what I may experience. I was taken to the room and given more instructions. I disrobe and jump in the shower to clean off. Jump in the pod turn the lights off and close the lid. Lay back and instantly float. Like I said before I have never experienced floating before. It was awesome. 20 minutes later the music turns off, it's pitch black and not a single sound. I start to hear a waterfall. See stars and I'm guessing fell asleep. I awoke to the podcast blue light on and the feeling of rushing water. This indicated my hour was up. I wasn't rushed to get out and did so at my own pace. Back into the shower to rinse off and get dressed. I stepped out to the lounge to relax and rehydrate. I don't think I experienced the full effects of what floating has to offer but look forward to doing this again. read more

I Love this place !!! We started a membership the first visit. This was the 3rd float place that we had visited in Vegas and by far our FAVORITE. I was looking for something relaxing and fun for a girls day and thought this would be a good choice. Being terribly afraid of drowning I was super nervous about being in a pod of salt water for over an hour but that was surprisingly not an issue. However, I didn't find it relaxing at all. It did help my muscles relax for an hour or so afterwards but I definitely didn't get into "the relaxation zone" that apparently leads to a healing and "spiritual experience". If was just all around awkward. Just not a good fit for me. Also don't joke with the staff if it isn't your cup of tea, this is their life and passion and they don't appreciate mermaid jokes. At all. Laughing in general seemed to ruin the atmosphere for everyone else, or at least based on their attitudes and glares that's what I gathered. Definitely didn't get the "please visit again" line. I had seen an advertisement for Float Centers of Nevada in a magazine. I had no idea what floating was but I was defiantly intrigued. I called them and was given a detailed explanation of the services they offer. I ended up booking a Float and absolutely loved it. I left more relaxed than I have been in a long time. All the little aches and pains were gone and I just mentally felt like I hit the reset button. No wonder Tom Brady has this float pod in his house. The facility was clean and well thought out. I have now done three float sessions at Float Centers of Nevada (Groupon float, one package float, and a birthday float) and have fallen in love with the place. Not only do they go above and beyond to make sure that you are educated on flotation therapy before you step into the pod, but they also provide an extremely calming and welcoming environment to all newcomers. On two occasions doing some sensory deprivation floats (no lights/no sounds/pod closed) I have seen light visual hallucinations and have come up with creative ideas that I normally might not have thought up with my brain being in "normal" mode. On the third occasion, I was stressed out and my mind was racing after a very busy day and the float did well to completely slow down/declutter my brain, which was very much needed. For those familiar with general meditation, flotation therapy at Float Centers of Nevada is like a more intense and relaxing version of meditation, which makes you feel even more of a "refreshed brain" feeling. I will continue my float therapy here in the future! read more

I don't even know exactly how to review such an awesome experience! I had never floated before, so I have nothing to compare this particular place with; but I will say that I will probably never stop floating. I plan to get a monthly membership to this particular one, as they are individual pods and i loved that experience. The staff is professional and knowledgeable, the facilities are clean and welcoming. The only downside was a slight knocking noise every once in a while, but I find it hard to imagine that there is going to be any building without some sound. The cleanliness is a big plus. I have an oxygen bar, which is meaningless to me but might be interesting to some and it comes along with the monthly membership. There is also a salt room which I plan to try on occasion, but the main "event" is definitely the float and I would wholeheartedly recommend this to every person to try. It is a release and uplift spiritually physically and emotionally. I would give it more stars if that was possible. read more

Wow... This must be the closest psychedelic experience I ever had in my life. For those who understand this concept and are opened minded, this is a must do experience. If you can handle it with a "little stimulating help" of your own choice (again, this is a crazy trip so not an option for amateurs) can enhance it even more. I believe you can get close to contact inner self at a different level. Watch the YouTube video, it's accurate 100% and if you can research a little more feel free to learn about it, i concur with most of the reviews out there that may sound crazy or too good to be truth. Love this place! I've been a couple of times. The staff is always very welcoming, thorough, and kind. The spa is very clean and well stocked. The experience of floating is like no other! Drift off into the meditative abyss for an hour, likely take a little nap, and wake up warm and cradled by water. It helps with physical fatigue and muscle tension but for me it's particularly great for mental health: anxiety, depression, etc. Try the oxygen bar at the end for a little invigorating or relaxing boost to take into the rest of your day. read more

Just recently decided to try floating. What an incredible experience! I did the first timers 3 session special. John was my float tech on duty each time. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional and he made me feel very welcomed. The float rooms and pods are kept clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed my first 2 sessions and when I got to my third, I was able to achieve a total state of relaxation in the float pod. Each session gets easier to relax and let your mind go. The high level of salt in the water helps take away aches and pains by pulling toxins out of the body. It is very therapeutic. You must experience it for yourself. The best thing I have done for myself in years. Have gone 6 weeks in a row! Missed last week and it really did have a negative effect on me mentally. This may not be for everybody but if you can relax, really let go you cannot help but be invigorated, centered and refreshed. Finally! This is exactly how I'd envisioned the experience should be. TrueREST has a super friendly & knowledgeable staff, and an impeccably clean facility. My first float was 3 years ago with a different company, I never went back because of the overwhelming odor of chlorine that bowled me over as soon as I'd walked in the door. TrueREST uses a more accurate system, keeping the float tank sanitized, but no excessive chlorine fumes. So, in complete darkness, with mystical music playing, I easily dissolved into another world and emerged feeling peaceful, utterly relaxed. Beneficial therapy for the mind and body. read more

Take your money to a different float spa in vegas, truly terrible ownership. Should have stayed the Nevada float centers because as soon as this new ownership of true rest happened I've only had problems with them, and sketchy business changing terms and what is said at random is absolutely ridiculous. The staff the usually handles customers is perfectly fine, they are all very nice and helpful, but as soon as you have to talk with the higher ups is when the problems start. I got a membership when they were switching from float centers to true rest, there were specific terms about cancel policies that were highlighted to me that I took note of as not to forget, well I never was sent these in my email as it was suppose to be, the terms highlighted were that they asked that you cancel 30 days in advance. Well unless they switched their policies without telling me that was not included in the new copy they sent me which now said I had to pay a final month to cancel. As I'm talking to management I'm told if I don't want to pay for one more month (which would not include a float) I could just deduct a float to my account since that is equivalent in value. Well this was not the case what so ever. So I say yes instead of charging me again for nothing just take a float off so it's as if I canceled last month. Well ownership is emailing me about this and suddenly they are not equal in value, now I'm being explained that deducting a float is a penalty for not paying the final month, and that if I paid the final month I would have had all my floats. Again something that was explained as the complete opposite and switched just because. The owner is a shady business owner and whether or not she just doesn't explain things right to her employees, or is just in it to get people's money, I would never do business with this company again, and wish I had started floating at one of the many other companies in Las vegas. The worse part is when I emailed them they barely even answer my questions, they just continue to re explain what I already understand instead of answer my simple question when I asked about the difference in options for cancelling and whether or not they were equal in value. read more
