We had reservations on a Saturday night and were seated almost immediately. As we passed the bar I noticed they had a huge bourbon selection which is always cool. I ordered a "Well She Starts Monday" which is a cocktail made with Buffalo Trace, Cynar liqueur, and Fig Syrup. I was not a fan of this one, so I ordered an Old Fashioned for my second drink, and it was a little better. I got a Burrata for an appetizer which seemed like a caprese salad served with crispy bread triangles. This was really good. For an entree, I got Beef Wellington which until then I had never had. Mansplained, this is a steak cooked medium rare inside of a puff pastry with 2 different sauces on it. Phenomenally good! The atmosphere is really dark with low lighting, dark cherry wood everywhere. The music was bad and loud. If it was one or the other it would have been fine, but this was like if someone gave Yoko Ono glowsticks and said start and EDM band. The Husky is meant for a younger crowd. The food was 5 stars; the atmosphere and experience were probably more like 3 stars.

We often use this as a stopping place to use the bathroom and figure out where we are going next. I like that they advertise they have plenty of bathrooms as there is nothing I hate more than a large brewery with one bathroom. We found this to be walking distance from our more tourist area hotel, but others may feel it is not, although I do believe its close to a bus line. This place has a nice vibe and friendly service. We visited pretty close to opening and it was not crowded. It looked like there was a nice outdoor seating area as well, but after the walk we were happy to be inside where it was cooler. I also appreciate being able to charge my phone while I drink my beer. I was a little sad that it was not open at the same time as the bagel place next door as I really wanted to check that out as well. They do acknowledge their focus is not food, but sounds like they have food trucks at times. Unfortunately I can't recall what beers we tried, but I am sure they were delicious.

It's the purrfect option for when you want to sit back, relax and enjoy yourself. Having a fur friend? Bring them along and everyone wins. There's a large space for dogs to run around, and get their pets on. Outside of the dog zone is seating for the bar which is perfectly stocked with alcoholic and none alcoholic options. As someone who is in her mocktail era I really enjoyed that they had none alcoholic spirits. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and truely made you feel like you were part of the gang. In 2025 it's hard to find a "third space" somewhere you can hangout for a while, talk with friends, make new friends, and really just enjoy yourself. That's what makes The Dog House so great, it's bringing back to third space vibes one drink at a time.

When you arrive, you place your starting drink and food orders. We arrived early enough to choose any seating. Tables are well distanced apart. Masks are required to enter. This is the only place I have been to so far that offers Voodoo beer by Tin Roof so I was in love already. They have a refreshing menu..not all typical bar food. So I saw they had Tuna Tartar..first thought was..sh*t should I order raw fish at a bar??!! The waitress highly recommended it so wht the hell..it was fantastic!! We also tried the shrimp remolaude which was tasty as well. This is such a nice space that I am very much looking forward to returning.

A small bar, and a back performance room with a space for the performer. The back room fits perhaps 12-15 people. I've used the descriptors of little, small, cozy, and let's throw in the word intimate. The bartender is also the emcee, and made introductions and gave some info. Mia Borders was super. Her songs are powerful, and great life stories. There is just enough amplification to highlight vocals, and seems perfect for the room. Not a great selection of liquors, but it's "enough". They also have specialty drinks, although they were out of a couple of items when I was there. I REALLY enjoyed Mia's show, and this little "Sidebar" is pretty cool.
