I have written a review in the past about how wonderful this company, Tom & wife Victoria are, but more recent events have lead me to once again tell everyone how AMAZING this company is. This year my lawnmower developed a significant leak. I had Tom out to do a yearly maintenance, address the leak and the starter pull string because it kept getting caught up on something. All repairs were done everything working much better... but the oil was still leaking. He replaced the Camshaft seal FREE OF CHARGE and said to let him know if it continues to be a problem. It did still continue to leak. It was a bad seal, so he replaced the camshaft seal with another new one again, at no extra charge. IF YOU WANT OLD SCHOOL DOWNRIGHT AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ETHICS THEN LOOK NO FURTHER!! Next time you need repair done right... Give them a call. Since I'm really great at not taking proper care of my things, when I dragged my mower out from under the deck this spring - surprise! It didn't work. I searched around for a repair shop but most places you have to take your equipment in to the shop (no surprise there) and I don't have a truck or a trailer. I tried to cram my mower into my car once and it didn't end well. So I came across the Mobile Lawnmower Doctor and was relieved. Unsurprisingly they were booked for a few weeks but I didn't have much choice - and communicating with this team was fantastic. Super responsive through email and even worked with me to change my request a couple of times to add multiple pieces of equipment to the work order. Polite, prompt, honest and got my mowers up and running in a short amount of time, right in my own driveway! This is the worst time of year for a lawn tractor to die! So when my 19 year old lawn tractor died in the middle of mowing my big 11k lot, especially now, it was a real problem. I called Mobile Lawnmower. They were able to come out within 24 hours! Tom is amazing, and could fix the carburetor problems with what he had in his mobile workshop. Knowing I did not have to figure out how to pack up my lawnmower myself and get it in for repairs earned a star right away! They were booked out about a week, but I asked to be called if anyone cancelled or if something opened up and I was called the next day. Tom ( I believe that was his name) was very pleasant and got right to work. His van is rigged up with a lift and so he just drove the mower up the ramp and then raised it up. Very cool. He explained what he was doing and what he was looking for. Love that he did not talk down to a "girl" as can sometimes be the case with stuff like this. He changed the oil, the filter, sharpened the blades, lubed everything and gave me some pointers on how to store our fuel and other maintenance tips. Very reasonably priced ( $105 with parts, labor and tax) and my mower runs like a dream. On my receipt it says: Walk Behind Mower Preventative Maintenance Package: Preventative fuel system and cooling system, adjust/lube/inspect chasis and controls, check/adjust engine speed, clean under deck, service blades, filters, engine oil, spark plugs. $79.00 plus $18 for parts and supplies...and tax If your mower poops out on you, give them a call! read more

I am 100% positive my experience was with the Lawnmower Doctor in Vancouver, WA. I have a returned check from 6/21/2017. My lawnmower was fairly new, my yard is fairly small. All I needed was the blade sharpened, and after this work was done, the engine of the mower revved and cycled in an erratic manner. I did not ask for the engine to be touched. The guy told me he "went ahead and inspected the whole mower" after sharpening the blade. The mower was fine, after the blade sharpening, the mower's engine was not functioning properly. read more

Called to have maintenance done on a rider we got when we bought our new house. The house was used as a rental previously, so I questioned the condition of the mower, plus there were no brakes and we live on the side of a hill. Tom was awesome. Did all the maintenance, addressed all of my issues, explained as he went, and even cleaned up when he was done. I like the convenience of having him come to me rather than me loading and unloading. Personalized service is pretty rare these days. I'll be calling them next year. read more

I've used him two times previously, he came to me and I didn't balk at the price the convenience was nice. He was pleasant enough and the work was ok. I called June of 2015 and scheduled an appointment to have my pressure washer fixed they were a few weeks out that was ok. His wife called in a couple weeks later and wanted to reschedule for a specific time. I told her I was unable to be home at this time. So she agreed to keep the original appointment. The day before that appointment she called around 3:30 left a message saying I would need to call back by 5:00 if I wanted to confirm this appointment or it would be canceled, her tone was absolutely obnoxious. I got the message after 5PM, it was close to the 4th of July I assumed they wanted to take this day off for a long weekend. I went to the competition who replaced the carburetor for a lot less than my last service appointment and my pressure washer ran great after that, I was thrilled with there competitor. I took the pressure washer in to them but they will pick up and deliver for an additional fee it would still have been significantly cheaper than Tom. If I would have had the carburetor replaced originally I wouldn't have needed the second visit. It worked out I found a much better and more affordable place to get my lawnmower and pressure washer fixed. It pays to shop around. read more

We have a riding mower that belongs to the property owners, but they're letting us use it while we're living here and knew it could use a professional go-over (and new blades). We don't have a truck or anything to move the machine around, so I was so grateful when I found this service. I had reached out a few others in the general area, but Victoria was quick with a response to my inquiry and offered up a TON of useful information! I felt confident going with them from the get-go. She got us on schedule, made sure we knew all the ins-and-outs of what Tom would need and all that, and even were able to squeeze us in more than a week earlier than planned because room had cleared up! Tom was so helpful, informative, and friendly! It was a pleasure having him up to get things in shape and was generous with offering to answer any question we might have. He gave us tips on what to look/listen for and little ways we can prolong the life of the machine. As a couple that never had much of a lawn until now, we didn't have any experience with this kind of mower and were super thankful to have someone who knows them so well offer advice. He was quick, thorough, personable, and knowledgeable. We've experienced only fantastic service from day 1 of doing business with MLD and will enthusiastically call on them again. We purchased a new riding lawnmower a year ago, and bought the extended warranty. Big mistake, buying the warranty, because you have to use their people. I called the warranty company and they hooked us up with a company that has 30 scathing reviews online. After reading the reviews, there was no way I would do business with that company. We cancelled them and called Mobile Lawnmower Doctor. What a wise decision! Tom came out the same day we called, and our mower didn't even have to leave the premises.
