    Grilled cheese and tomato soup.

The food was good, the service was terrible, we had a fairly large group and they waited until the end to let us know that they could not split the very large check, they let us do the math and pay what we thought we owed, very poor organization, how hard is it to ask at the beginning how many are in each portion of the party and charge them accordingly instead of requesting that we do the math for them, ambiance I didn't notice as I was too busy doing math for the wait staff.

Came here a couple of weeks ago and it was AMAZING. The service, the food, the environment exceeded my expectations. Our server, I believe her name was Megan, was very attentive and was even training someone. Everything we ordered was delicious. The manager Jennifer came and checked in on us to see if we needed anything. I really appreciated that gesture. Will definitely be coming back! Great first experience.

First stop we made when we got into Temecula on a Saturday afternoon. The tasting room was open and they add available space so we didn't have to wait. It was $25 a person for 5 wines. We opted to split one tasting since we hadn't eastern anything. I usually go for sweet wines but they didn't have too many options so I let the nice host choose the wines for us. The tastes were good and the wines strong! Overall it was a great experience!

After three visits - the food remains very good. Service 4/5. Ambiance 4/5. Well they do many things well - it's the little things that shouldn't be happening. Sitting customers without silverware, wobbly tables, water glasses running empty and my biggest pet peeve that happened on all three occasions and we weren't alone. They clear the salad plates with the silverware and they don't replace it. We had to ask all three times for a fork when the entrees came.

Love coming here to eat. The staff is great even when they are super busy. Had the pleasure of having Lolly as our server. She is so friendly and her smile was infectious. She also makes great drinks. Onto the food. I highly recommend having the table side Ceasar. Chefs kiss on that one! Everything we tried was wonderful and we will be back.

Great place with a great view! I love the set and decor. The staff were awesome and the food was delicious. The burger definitely took home the win for our group.

Pea and pesto risotto with chicken at Truffle Pig restaurant

For my first visit here at Truffle Pig restaurant, I was thoroughly pleased with our experience here. We arrived for an early lunch on a Friday afternoon as a party of six to celebrate some special occasions. We each ordered a different menu item so that we could try a variety of their dishes. For starters we had their brussel sprouts and their calamari which were very tasty. As for the main dishes, we had the chicken parmigian, pea and pesto risotto, chilean sea bass, and ossobuco. My favorites were definitely the rich and creamy risotto as well as the melt in your mouth ossobuco. The risotto was cooked perfectly, bursting with flavor and complex notes of herbs paired with asparagus and pea vegetables with parmesan cheese on top. The ossobuco, or braised veal shank, was so delicate with a flavorful demi glace and served on a bed of polenta. I also enjoyed the chilean sea bass which was light, refreshing, and beautifully plated. For desert we had a lovely peach cobbler and they also offered complimentary cheesecake bites for our birthday celebrant. I appreciated that the restaurant manager stopped by our table to kindly greet us and ensure that we were enjoying our experience. The setting and ambience of the restaurant was simply beautiful and perfect on this afternoon. Compliments to the chef and staff at Truffle Pig restaurant!

This gem of a winery is in the old Avensole location - but with so many upgrades and improvements. Featuring a beautiful pond, the area outside of the tasting room is a perfect place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. The tasting room itself is beautiful, and the staff is helpful and not at all snobby. We got some great recommendations from Coby. My husband who enjoys a sweeter wine loved the white zin which was reminiscent of starburst. I really liked the rose which had a similar flavor without the sweetness. We also enjoyed some food at the restaurant on property (Domenicos). There was live music on the patio which was truly the perfect volume - you could still have a conversation but it made for really nice ambience. Do not sleep on the truffle brussel sprouts - insanely yummy. They are thinly shaved, perfectly crisped, the right amount of salty, and topped with crumbled goat cheese and pomegranate seeds. We will come back for this dish! We also really enjoyed the truffle humus flatbread which was topped with asparagus. The limoncello martini was rimmed with sugar and was tasty (and strong, so beware). Our server was Hannah and she was excellent. This will definitely be part of our Temecula rotation moving forward!

    Lunch Special Turkey Club $20

Service was excellent! Ambiance was beautiful! The food was great as well, I had a Turkey Club with fries from the lunch special menu for $20. My friends enjoyed the table side Caesar Salad that they make for you.

    Happy Anniversary!

We celebrated our anniversary at Truffle Pig on Saturday, April 25. After reading so many positive reviews, we were expecting a high-end, memorable experience. Unfortunately, the best word to describe the evening is mixed, leaning toward disappointment. Starting with the positives. The facility is beautiful. We were seated in what they call the outdoor area, though it feels fully enclosed and comfortable. Despite a cool, rainy evening and some initial trouble getting the heaters working near us, we stayed warm and were able to enjoy the setting. Service had a rough start. After being seated, we received water from a busser but then waited 10 to 15 minutes without any acknowledgment from a server. Not even a quick "I'll be right with you." We were close to leaving when another waitress noticed and stepped in. She apologized, took over our table, and from that point on was excellent. Attentive, friendly, and professional. Because of her, service ultimately deserves high marks despite the initial lapse. The restaurant was also extremely loud. There was a large group of teenagers celebrating a birthday, a bridal party, and several lively tables that had clearly been enjoying wine for the day. While that's not entirely the restaurant's fault, it did take away from what we expected to be a more intimate anniversary dinner. Now, the food, which was the biggest disappointment. We started with the Caesar salad and Burrata. The Burrata was excellent. The Caesar salad, however, was mediocre at best, and at $18 should have been much better. For entrées, I ordered the sea bass. At $48, it was overcooked, nearly tasteless, and served in a soupy mixture that was difficult to identify. The presentation in a small, awkward bowl didn't help. It was simply not good. My wife ordered the Taleggio Pappardelle with mushrooms and added chicken. The dish lacked clarity and flavor, and the chicken was also overcooked. To their credit, they brought out a complimentary cheesecake for our anniversary, which ended up being the best tasing part of the meal. We also ordered a bottle of wine, choosing their lowest-priced blend. At many restaurants, that can be a gamble, but in this case it was excellent wine (and we are knowledgeable wine snobs.) They graciously comped the wine due to the slow start in service, which we truly appreciated and felt was handled very well. Overall, this experience fell short of expectations, especially when it came to the food. That said, there were enough positives to acknowledge; Service, once corrected, was excellent. The setting is beautiful. The wine was surprisingly good. It's possible we simply caught them on an off night in the kitchen. We may consider trying them again in the future. Final ratings: Service: 5 stars (thanks to the recovery) Ambience: 3 stars (beautiful, but very loud) Food: 1 star With everything considered, a reluctant overall rating of 4 stars -- a mix of strong positives and some significant misses.

Good Wines yet they need to share the wines between the tasting room, the Members lounge and the restaurant. The Best Beet Carpaccio by Far . . . Most things are slightly over price for the quality of what you are actually getting.

Cute place to stop in Temecula. Arrived right as it opened with a lot of seating. It took a while for service and attention with the limited amount of people in the restaurant. But maybe that's just cause there were only 3 parties? When they did stop by they were friendly but ordering took a while and we almost had to leave before our food came. The food itself was good, we ordered the salad and a burger.

Absolutely loved our experience at Domenico's at Truffle Pig Winery. This was our first time visiting Truffle Pig Winery and from the moment we arrived we were impressed by the atmosphere and overall vibe. The winery itself is beautiful and inviting and instantly made us feel relaxed and excited to be there. Dining at Domenico's truly elevated the experience. Trinity our server was amazing and made such a positive impression right away. From the moment we were seated she was friendly attentive and genuinely welcoming. Her service made us feel comfortable and taken care of throughout the entire meal and really added to how much we enjoyed ourselves. We knew almost immediately that we liked this restaurant and vineyard. Everything felt warm and welcoming and the experience never felt rushed. We ordered the market red and absolutely loved it. It paired perfectly with our meal and was smooth flavorful and easy to enjoy. The food portions were generous and definitely shareable which we really appreciated. You can easily split a plate and still feel more than satisfied with the amount of food they serve. Overall this was a wonderful first visit and left such a great impression on us. Great wine great food excellent service and a beautiful setting made for an experience we will definitely remember. We will absolutely be back and would highly recommend Domenico's at Truffle Pig Winery to anyone looking for a great place to enjoy good wine and a welcoming dining experience.

Tastings are $25 for six pours on weekdays and $30 on weekends, and you can choose any six wines from the list--including red or white sangria, which was unique. The setup is self-guided, so you can wander the property, sit wherever you'd like, and return to the tasting bar whenever you're ready for your next pour. Unfortunately, that's where the experience slowed down. There was only one person serving, and with about 10 people in line, every refill meant another long wait. As for the wines, they just didn't wow me (of course, that's purely my personal opinion). The standout was the Syrah. We also tried the cheesecake = Overall, the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere were positives, but the long waits and average wines made the experience fall short of what I'd hoped for.

As soon as I walked inside, the host Dakota was super cordial and got me seated at their outdoor patio beneath sun shades, next to the vineyard and I had a perfect unobstructed view of the jazz performer on stage. After seating, I ordered a glass of their signature Cabernet Sauvignon and the Fromagé plate, which was presented shortly afterwards. The fromagé plate had a variety of cheeses, seedless red grapes, dried apricots, fig preserve spread and additionally a plate of bread... perfect for sharing or not. The saxophone player played contemporary music which was all entertaining as I noshed and sipped vino. Their signature Cabernet Sauvignon was quiet lovely; aroma and depth of flavors was perfect with the fromagé ...love!! After the lunch, a stroll around the grounds to see more vineyards, felt the breeze on a hot day was nice. Inside the gift shop there was so much to peruse through, but some of the stuff will definitely get a giggle out of you. There's an art gallery connected to the main building. I wouldn't call it an art gallery but many walls were dedicated to showcasing local artists work depicting the Temecula Valley lifestyle. In the same room is the wine tasting bar and most of the people inside the art gallery seemed to be more interested in wine tasting than the art lol This was my second time visiting, both times, I had a great first impression and last impression from the ambiance, food and service.
