Happy hour oysters M - F at 3 to 6 PM!! I love this location, even more than the San Mateo one. It's located in a plaza so finding parking is so much easier. Fish is fresh and their combos are amazing. The staff here are super nice and there are a lot of tables to dine in. This location is still pretty new so the interior reflects that

Truffle Poke Bar is taking over the peninsula! This Belmont location had its grand opening on 2/24 when they gave out free bowls for four hours. I heard and saw that the line was crazy in the beginning (wrapped through the narrow alleyway and across the entire backside), but even when it died down, I still waited for two hours. I never knew this many people didn't have to work at this random time of day, in random ass Belmont. Was it worth it for anyone employed, no, but it was very generous of them to offer free poke bowls, and they were kind enough to honor the offer to those who lined up in time. Still had to pay for the extra charge toppings, which I wish they would warn about! I just pointed to some toppings that looked interesting. The poke bowl I got was pretty good, though I hadn't eaten that day and did stand for over two hours. Most people doubled up on tuna and salmon. They ran out of white rice by the time I went up to order. The raw kale mango was surprisingly fresh, zesty, and flavorful, that I will have to remember to include it in my base next time. I could not discern what the original sauce tasted like, but the sweet guajillo aioli tasted like a honey sweet creamy sriracha-like sauce. The ahi tuna, hamachi, shrimp, and shrimp tempura were all fresh. Additionally, the tempura was freshly fried and very crunchy - a great complementery texture to the poke. I do live closer to the San Mateo location, but this is in a quieter plaza with more parking spaces. I wish them well, and appreciate the offer to try them out!

So happy that a poke bar opened up in this charming little plaza. Staff is friendly and the vibe is cute and neighborhood-sie. The taro chips are very nice. Wish they serve more drinks. Oysters happy hour for the win!

A free poke bowl is definitely not worth a 2 hour plus wait in queue, in my estimation.

Due to the World Cup they are putting a pause on that event. We did decide to go back this Thursday for the USA watch party and it was so fun. They were absolutely packed when we got there but the staff is so kind and accommodating they got us a table outside and even moved it so we could all see the tvs! As soon as we were getting sat the waitress recognized us and asked if we wanted to put in some drinks so we wouldn't have to wait long, huge plus they really do connect with their customers. We ordered our food and everything came out really quickly which was great even though they were so busy. I got the drakes burger with the gluten free bun. My favorite! It comes with a perfectly cooked egg that oozes right into the burger when you bite in. My partner got his favorite the Caesar salad wrap. He always says it super fresh and tastes amazing. My father got a classic cheese burger added bacon. They do make a great burger the prefect amount of messy classic American burger we all crave. They have a very extensive menu it a lot of typical bar food but what sets them apart is their fresh ingredients and unique twist. Their atmosphere and service is always a ten out of ten no matter if it's packed to the brim or not. I plan to keep coming back!

We got here a half hour before the game kicked off and got one of the last tables. They have tons of screens lining the walls and one at each booth. Spicy chicken sandwich: 4/5. Quite enjoyable with the right amount of spice.

The host was friendly when we arrived, and our waiter was excellent. He was personable, knowledgeable, and gave some really solid recommendations. He suggested the Belle Glos Pinot Noir and the seafood stew, and both ended up being fantastic choices. The seafood stew was hands down my favorite part of the meal. It was loaded with shrimp, clams, mussels, calamari, salmon, and a half lobster tail. The seafood was fresh, the portion was generous, and the broth was absolutely incredible. I found myself wanting to soak up every last drop. My husband ordered the ribeye, and after stealing a few bites, I can see why he loved it. It was cooked perfectly and topped with a compound butter that added so much flavor. Between the steak, baked potato, and asparagus, it was a really well executed dish. The food, service, and atmosphere all came together for a great dining experience. It's not often that both of us leave a restaurant talking about how much we enjoyed our meals, but that was definitely the case here. We'll absolutely be back.

The honey mint mojito came in a cute bear glass and was just the right amount of rum, a little tarty but once watered down was good. Had the biscuit and bacon board (lots of bacon and the biscuits were warm and fluffy). The French toast was just right and the berries were sweet. The crab Benedict was made of real Dungeness crab and the muffin was still crispy. Honestly, the biscuit and bacon board would have been enough. 4 stars because it was $$$ but would def go back again

We went there because they had gluten free options and I have celiacs. When we got there I asked about the gf options labeled on the menu and the server said that those items were not really gluten free... So, I asked what my options were and it ended up being salad or surf and turf. My husband and I decided to share the $60 surf and turf and it was okay, but I wouldn't order it again. The one thing that was the most disappointing was the $12 Italian soda. It was just not good... Maybe some of the other non gluten free items are better, but not suitable for a person that needs gluten free options unless you want to eat a salad.

One thing that stood out during this visit was the incredible teamwork. Every employee was constantly moving, helping guests, and supporting one another. At one point, a server who wasn't even ours noticed that the sun had shifted and was shining directly in my face. She immediately offered to move us to a different table, which we really appreciated. We also noticed the manager walking the dining room, checking in with guests and making sure everything was going well. It was refreshing to see such a hands-on approach. Our appetizers took a little longer than expected, which honestly didn't bother us--we hadn't even noticed. But the manager did. He came over to sincerely apologize, brought us an additional appetizer, and even insisted on taking care of part of our bill. It was such a thoughtful gesture. When the food arrived, it was excellent, just as we've come to expect. Our waiter was fantastic as well. The customer service here is every bit as impressive as the food. We'll definitely continue coming back. Town consistently delivers an outstanding dining experience, and we highly recommend it.

My kids grew up here and we've always made it our Go To special meal place in San Carlos. My office has had more than one Holiday functions upstairs in their private dinning room. Is it safe to say we are acquainted with Town? So, today I decided to have lunch at the bar and watch the World Cup and my absolute pet peeve occurred..I was completely ignored. Obviously it wasn't THAT busy because I got one of a few open bar stools. There were two people behind the bar..one was the manager! I'm certain of that because he was acquainted with the guy right next to me..and they had a pleasant conversation. Meanwhile...crickets on my side of the one inch divide. Okay..I know I'm whining...but I was there for 10-15 minutes and I wasn't even acknowledged. No water, no hello, no questions. All the while tons of service a foot from me and the MANAGER there acting like I don't exist. Again...I know, small potatoes. I left and went to Pranzi and had a great salad and watched the game with staff that was happy to welcome me. It just further solidified the impression that the Town people think they walk on water and are impervious to any formerly normal customer services. Like serving food and greeting people. It obviously bugs me.
