Please do not use these services. I have experienced this three times within a year, where the technician signs off as completing the job but never actually shows up at my property. My lawn still has weeds, despite paying approximately $145 for treatments or services, which I believe is too much. The salesman who persuaded me to sign up--likely named Charles--told me I could call him directly to address any concerns or re-schedule services. However, despite multiple attempts to reach him, I have received no response. The only time he responded was when trying to sell me mosquito services; otherwise, my concerns have been ignored. I do not recommend using a large company like TruGreen. It's more cost-effective and reliable to hire someone dependable who is not fraudulent. read more

Integrity, customer service, process - see my previous review regarding two trees dying. The supervisor reviewed and recommended watering the trees excessively instead of Kirk taking soil samples, samples from the trees themselves to ensure they had not caused the problem and to support his theory of drought stress would have been the better option instead of me having to do it myself. The project manager called to next day and asked if I was satisfied.... Yes I'm satisfied that someone finally came out to "inspect" the trees and unsatisfied with the inspection because they never touched or took any samples, just looked at them. I could have sent pictures of the trees since that's all Kirk and Manuel did. Will follow-up as soon arborist reviews. Of course TruGreen immediately closed the case...not good read more

He was rude, unprofessional and did an awful job(only did a portion of the yard because he did not want to go over our rock on the side of the house). Fast forward 6 months and I get a collection notice for an outstanding balance. My wife called the office and the manager said she would not remove the account from collections even after being told about the dumpster fire of an experience we had . My wife spoke to Miranda today and she was very friendly however, her Manager, Deborah is the one who stated she is leaving our acct as is, would not even speak to my wife. There is a lot of turnover with this company and you will never get the same tech twice. Most that came were new and inexperienced. One was sent to aerate the lawn. He came unannounced and we drove up to see him tearing up our yard like a wild boar. He had run over sprinkler heads, etc. When quizzed, he admitted he had never done that service before. We complained and several months later another tech came to re-do the service. He started and after a lap said the equipment wasn't working properly and needed to be serviced but he thought he could get one more yard out of it. This is just one example of many. Calling customer service is a joke. You'll get someone in another state who promises to have someone local get in touch but that doesn't happen. I live on a half acre and they would come and go in less than 10 minutes. On top of this, they call and call to market additional services. After numerous requests for them to stop telemarketing to me, I finally had enough and ended my service. 4 weeks later, I am still getting harassing calls and I'm not even a customer anymore. Absolutely horrible. The man came two weeks after our first fertilizer treatment to treat for the fire ants on 5/26. I paid extra for that due to a severe allergy. He was at our house for 4 minutes, including the time he took to unload the truck and talk to me. He didn't do the backyard. I know he didn't, because I was working from home and sitting right by the windows. When I heard his truck start, I ran outside and asked him about it. He said he was there to fertilize and he did both yards. I told him all my confirmations said he should be treating for fire ants, he said I would have to call them to send someone for that. He then proceeded to hand me a balled up print out that said my yard was treated for fire ants lol. I filled out a survey and explained what happened and asked for a manager to call me. Never happened, so my husband called a few days later. The lady said that they would send someone back to do the fire ant treatment and I didn't have to pay the other invoice until it was done. The man came back, he was kind and professional, but he admitted he didn't have the fire ant treatment on his truck. He said he would come back. The treatment never happened and I keep receiving reminders for the bill. I called today and got the worst customer service. She kept saying their records show the fire ant treatment was completed on 5/26. TruGreen, many people still work from home and most people have cameras. Timothy S. came to my home on 5/26 so you could track that he was parked here but he didn't do the appropriate service and proceeded to lie to my face. Nobody is going to pay thousands a year for you to lie about providing a service because you think no one will know. I cancelled my service this morning and I will hire a more reputable provider that doesn't continue to lie to their customers who witnessed things happen with their own eyes AND have camera footage to prove it. TruGreen Lawn Care - Fire Ant treatment he didn't do. - Tree Services Near Me - Lewisville, Texas

ALERT ALERT ALERT!!!!!! Do not use Lewisville TruGreen Lewisville Texas branch 5057. I have used them for the last serveral years and this July they killed two of my trees on my front yard by over spraying the Mosquitoes Defense and Perimeter Pest control on July 25th 2024. Doing the two services together saturated my trees (A 20-25ft maple and a 20-25ft magnolia - see pictures attached, not exactly sure of Birgitta both trees have been at house for 10 yr) with the same chemical compounds that exist in the product. Instead of doing the service on at a time, which is normally the way it has been done in the past they decided to do both services within minutes of one another. When I reached out to the office on 7/29 to tell them about the trees dying it took days (7/31) to get someone out to "inspect" the trees and that employee only looked at the trees, never touched them or took a sample of any type and then told me a supervisor need to come out, he committed to schedule the request for a supervisor and I would hear back within 48 hours from a supervisor to schedule an appointment in the meantime my trees continue to dies. I had to call the office again on 8/5 as I had not heard back from them only to be told that they had no record of a request submitted by the employee who came on 7/31 and that they would submit the request as asked for proof the current employee submitted the request and he was unable to provide such proof. I was concerned that I didnt get the normal notification that a service was scheduled as that is s what I received by email whenever a service for my property is schedule for xyz date and approximate time. On 8/6 I received a call from the branch project manager Jasmine who had me explain again what was wrong, I told her about Manuel who came out on 7/31 and didn't schedule the supervisor and Kyle who I had spoke to on 8/5. She tells me that I would receive a call from a supervisor on 8/7 to schedule time to come review the trees. I never received a call instead my husband tells me that Kirk Henton - Trugreen was out front he looked at the trees never touched the, never took any samples and just said the tress were in drought stress. No one else in the neighborhood has trees in this drought stress, we are all limited to 2 days a week for watering, there were no signs of the trees in stress their leaves just started turning brown and we're completely brown within 4 days of service. Now I have to spend money for an arbiter to review the dirt and hopefully they can give me the true issue as to what happen to the trees. It's sad that after being a loyal customer for 5 years, I have to write this review. I have spent the past 3 months trying to get someone (ANYone) from the local Lewisville office to call me and to come to our home to help me figure out what is happening with our grass. I literally, called and spoke to the national customer service line (they don't give out a local number) 6 times over the past 90 days. On every call they ensured me they would pass a message on to the local office and that a manager or supervisor would call and set up a site visit. After 4 attempts I give up. My grass was beautiful until this season and I have no idea what they did. Clearly put down the wrong chemicals or over-treated. Look at the pictures. They speak for themselves. Dead spots; dying spots; areas where even the chemical is tracked through the lawn and killing other areas... The sad part is I was so willing to meet with someone. I just wanted someone to come to our house and simply walk the yard with me to figure out what we need to do. Anything to try to save our lawn that we spend some much time and money on. I finally got the attention of the attendant that showed up one day to treat our yard. he was new. First visit ever to our house so he had NO knowledge. But he was able to at least give me the names of the local office supervisors. I called and left messages with all three. Left a message for Destry (469-451-7306) - not a single call or return message. I left a message for Andy 469-451-9037). Nope, no return calls or attempts. I even called Seth, the local manager), Left 2 different messages, 469-794-4770, but again, no return or attempted call backs. That was 3 weeks ago. Nothing. So, after giving them plenty of time to to call back or to set up a visit. I'm done. I'm cancelling their services and encourage EVERYONE that is considering the TruGreen Lewisville / Flower Mound / Denton branch to read this and the other recent reviews. Whoever runs the overall TruGreen business in Texas needs to start over at this branch office. Leadership is lacking and customer service is non-existent. Not to mention the damage they can do to your yard due to untrained technicians. Oh yes, I was told on the most recent call (8 days ago) that "the main manager, Mr. Cruz, would call. Again. Nothing. Look at the pictures and see for yourself what they did after I spent thousands with them building a deep, lush lawn, until this year when they showed up and destroyed it all. Sad. read more

We were a customer of Scott's for several years. It was our understanding that they were bought by TruGreen. We've had some of the worst customer experience with this company. They came out to our neighborhood and serviced the wrong house, charged us for it and then took us to collections after 60 days without any notification until we received the collection notice. We will no longer be using this company at all and recommend they get their financial affairs in order and better understand what customer service means. read more

I've used TruGreen since 2016 at different households. They USUALLY let you know 24 hrs in advance when they come. I first nd out afterwards the reason of their visit. Their first warning was after they damaged the gate to my backyard and my pups escaped. Their second warning was when the "spray or spreading " was splotchy and the run off from watering killed my lawn and my neighbors lawn. There is no 3rd warning. I arrived home and attempted to contact them on my time. No response on website via "chat". Not open to call. I'm canceling my subscription and yet I have to wait until tomorrow to do so. I'm tired of calls, emails to add plants or mosquitoes and tired of their outdated information thinking I'm still at my last home (2 years prior and service moved to current location). In Oklahoma they did fine. In Texas they have failed. I do not recommend TruGreen unless the credit me for my and my neighbors dead spots. read more

They would text stating they were on there way for a service and then send another text later that same day stating they canceled the service. No explanation. Every time I would have to call customer service wait on hold for 20-1hr to have them reschedule me only to have them cancel the day of. After the 3rd and two months of no service, I am done. I had scheduled and prepaid for an aeration about a month ago. I didn't get a call, a schedule, and my expectations were not a et as to when the service would take place. When I called to ask, I was told that it could take months to come out. After the customer care agent brushed me off, they awkwardly pivoted to see if I would buy their lawn care services. I then told them that I did not want to deal with them anymore. I called again any complained. The file was noted. Trugreen then did not send anyone out for another two weeks. After about a month of no contact and an inability to get information, I decided to aerate the lawn myself. Renting an aerator was easy, and cost much less than trugreen. The Thursday after aerating the lawn, two people came out from trugreen. They said my lawn didn't need aerating, and that their boss would need to see if they could aerate the lawn. I explained the situation. They asked if I was ticked, I was not and am not upset. It was just a lot of money to find out not to use Trugreen. Next time I'll trust the reviews. read more

We have been customers for several years. We continue to have weeds in the yard. Not just one here and there but patches of weeds. We call them to have someone address it and nothing changes. I've call three times over the past couple of weeks. Was told someone would be out on a particular day so I stayed home to show them the problem areas. No one showed. No one called. I call back and rescheduled it a week later. Same thing. I called again. They can't transfer me to the Lewisville location and can't connect me to anyone that actually works in the area. They reschedule again and tell me a supervisor will call in 2-3 business days. I'm not going to hold my breath. We are canceling service with them. Go somewhere else. I was told I would get 9 treatments for the amount I paid and it was a discounted price for paying in advance. After my 8th treatment, I was billed. I was told what I paid for was only 7 treatments which is 3 months short of year, BTW. The true green rep came to my house today as I watched out the back window he took his broken fertilizer spreader which was spilling fertilizer everywhere and grab several handfuls and tossed them around my backyard. Clearly he did an extremely poor job of coverage and quantity and I confronted him and he told me it was actually better to fertilize my yard by hand. Even though his spreader had broken he acknowledged and he had failed to get it repaired. He spent several minutes trying to convince me that he was doing the right thing and I told him that I didn't believe him and that I didn't trust him and that he needed to leave. Normally I would say this would be reason enough for me to stop doing business with true green lawn care of Lewisville TX, Scott Erickson and Calvin Washington, however I wasn't doing business with them in the first place they just randomly showed up at my house because the driver, Calvin Washington couldn't check the address on his ticket. So now thanks to Trugreen my lawn has been fertilized twice this month once by very capable company weed man and once by true Green who trespass on my property with broken equipment poorly trained techs who spilled more chemicals in the street than they did my lawn. Further I checked my neighbor who was the actual account and saw that his yard received no treatment what so ever. I'm sure he does not know that true green hasn't even treated his yard while they're busy treating my yard by error. Scott Erickson is the supervisor, truck number is 114541. Poor value for money. I tried to reach out to these guys in multiple ways. In the end I gave them an ultimatum before canceling my service. They periodically do service the lawn, just as a tick in the box to collect tour money. They don't really care. For some period of time they kept servicing only part of my lawn saying I had paid only for one half!!!‍I'm sure there are better options out there. Oh boy, where do I begin? We have a shrub with possible boxwood blight so I called to see if they would send someone out to diagnose it. Very long story short, they came at the wrong time, and when I wasn't available, and applied a treatment to my lawn instead of diagnosing our shrub problem. Their reps do answer their phones, but one of them hung up on me when I got frustrated she wasn't listening to me. The other reps went through the motions, but I realize now that no one at that company ever going to contact me about my complaint. Then they sent a bill for the incorrect amount. Their app also does not provide the correct information. I did call back and request a refund, which we got. I have never heard back from anyone regarding their complete failure. So it seems if people just need basic lawn service and it doesn't matter when it gets applied, and they don't care if they are billed the correct amount, then TruGreen may work out for them. This level of service after they came A WEEK LATE when I was supposedly going to have service 1-2 weeks prior plus a 48 hour notice, which I also did not receive. Absolutely horrible and unethical company! I was driving to Home Depot in The Colony, and one of their trucks moved into my lane, forcing me to hit the curb to avoid a collision. This scratched up the rims on my car, and TruGreen's response was that since there was no actual contact, then it was my fault that I swerved and they had no responsibility. I've never heard of such a dodge before, and tells me a lot about how they do business. My recommendation is to go elsewhere for your lawn service! read more

Consumer beware! I NEVER write negative reviews but I have been left with no choice with Trugreen. I recently signed up for multiple services at 2 different addresses . They have the Worst customer service I have ever experienced and they don't do the services promised. When they have shown up (after multiple cancels), they only sprayed 1/2 of the lawn and aerated very poorly if at all, with very little plugs left. Calling customer service is worthless. If you are able to get through to someone, they don't care to help and nothing gets accomplished. You can't call the branch directly. I've emailed customer service multiple times with no response. Sales guys are so friendly and "helpful" until they get your credit card number the sale and then it's all over from there. read more

Twice now out of the 3 times we had them scheduled they did not show up. No explanation or anything. And then the people who answer the calls, which were extremely nice people, don't have any useful information and you have to wait two days for a manager to call you and listen to their same spiel every time. My outdoor cats were locked up twice for ten hours for them to spray for mosquitoes just to have them not show up. Very rude and insensitive towards things like that. Buyers beware! Horrible service! I paid a year up front and at the end of my year my yard is full of weeds and looks no better than day one. They treating my weeds at the beginning and did a great job, but they didn't stay on too of it. Now my weeds are back and worse. The company says they will take care of the weeds only by request , but when you call them a recording says theres a two hour wait time to talk to someone . They do not return calls or emails. Once i finally get someone out, they don't do a complete job nor are they allowed to use their own autonomy to treat weeds. I can only assume they don't take good care of their employees since i never see the same tech twice. Their trucks are never equipped to handle your weeds upon service. Hello! This is the service I paid my hard earned money for. Why aren't they taking control of my weeds. They just feed them! The company needs to provide a better service and customer relations. Good luck getting a manager on the phone, or anyone to call you back because I tried two times today and never received a call back. They made me pre-pay for a service in advance, never called me back to schedule the appointment, then rescheduled the appointment without telling me, showed up, spent 10 minutes doing nothing to tell my tenant they have to reschedule because they don't have time. They didn't fix my sprinklers, they never called me, and when I called to complain (twice) they hung up on me the first time, and the second time they assured me a manager would call which never happened. My sprinklers are still broken, I still don't have an appointment confirmed, and they still have my money they made me pay in advance. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS. They were charging me but not actually coming out. I used another location in Anna and never had an issue. Since moving to my new home in oak point I was no longer getting noticed on my door or a flag in my yard saying anyone came. My yard was still getting weeds and looking crappy. I was home all day the last "visit" and nobody ever came. I got an email saying they did though. The customer service rep assured me they did and said to look outside, they did granules and I'll be able to see them. I looked and nothing. She didn't argue anymore and refunded me. They take your money but don't show up. Since posting in my subdivision several of my neighbors have the same issue with them. read more
