I have been with Truly Nolan over 21 years and they are really an incredible company. I just had my annual inspection and Steve was awesome. He found two sections that had termites. He called immediately to schedule the treatment. The next week Alex came out to treat the termites. One area was in my kitchen tile and I was concerned about the tile cracking or breaking. He drilled into the grout line and once he finished you could not tell anything was done. He also took care of the termites on the outside of the house as well. Absolutely horrible customer service. Be warned that you sign up for a yearly contract when signing up online for initial $179 service. When you go to cancel within less than a year, it is a $175 cancellation fee. I was told by the manager that there was nothing that could be done and they would rather lose a customer for life. We've been using Truly Nolen for years and have been super pleased with the various technicians that have come out, the service provided, the support we get when we call, etc... Today Jake came out to do both indoor and outdoor service after we found a scorpion in our house last week... I live in the northeast part of the Valley in the Desert Ridge area. We are surrounded by desert! Of course, no matter where in the Valley you live, there are always concerns about having the proper pest control service year-round. I especially want to give a huge shout-out for Miguel Bautista, a field service technician with Truly Nolen who came out yesterday, July 8. The mosquitos are especially bad this season and even a few scorpions found inside my house. He answered all my questions and even pointed out some "entry" areas for scorpions.... which he promptly fixed. We had an absolutely awful experience with this service. They didn't do half of what they said they would do and got our house mixed up with our direct neighbor multiple times. Then they called to say we had service scheduled and never showed. We followed up and they said they had a mix up on scheduling and sent someone out without notifying us. I informed the tech that we did not want to continue service at that time and requested to cancel. HOWEVER, they continued to charge us without providing service and without cancelling. We just called to request cancellation again after seeing the charges on our card and they said it's $175 to cancel. I HIGHLY recommend not using this service. read more

I used to give them 5 stars for great service but recently they have let me down on my rodent control. I have paid a large amount for a total rodent contract and last year I was convinced to pay an extra $29 a month for rodent control stations around my house. But I see rats running into the bushes right next to a rodent control station. This past week I had a rat in my house which escaped from a trap and I hope it is dead but I also have seen evidence of a rat under my sink. I would like to give them a five star review again because in the past they did a fine job. I want to give praise to a tech Aaron Mim who was here yesterday but the office sent him out here unprepaired. It is like a circus with them when they cannot figure out the timing and who is coming and what supplies they need. Aaron Mim did his best and he did find a dead rat near one of the deterrent station. I praise him but I am frustrated with the people who run Truly Nolen and cannot figure how who to sent to my house to deal with the rats who live in my yard read more

Needed service so contacted them and had a scheduled appointment between 7am and 9am. They no showed even tho I had called to make sure I was scheduled that morning at 8am and they said yes he'd be here. Well at 11am, I called after no one showed and they said that the tech had gone home for the day, and there was no one was able to come. We have been a customer of Truly Nolan for over 10 years and could not be more please with their service. When we need service between their quarterly visits they are very responsive. Today we called because we found some water beetles in our master bath. An appointment was scheduled for 2 days from now, but when Jake, our service tech saw the order, he called, said he was in the area and would be "right over". He was here in 10 minutes and took care of the problem. Just one example of TN service and Jake in particular, who is always going the "extra mile" to make sure his customers are taking care of. read more

We have a rat problem here in central Phoenix. My other pest control company had set a few traps and also done most of the exclusions. However, we were still having issues. So I thought I call the big guns at Truly Nolen to come up with a solution. The initial fee is roughly $1500 to do all exclusions, perform a smoke test and set traps. So they came out and did this in about an hour. We still had issues so they came back out with another person. We still had issues so the branch manager even came out. After all this I ended up finding the opening myself where the rats were getting in. I'm not saying they aren't a good company and rats can be tricky, but before you spend $1500 make sure you know exactly what they are going to do and if that is good value for the money. For me, it was way too much. As soon as the next month hit, I'm getting the $39 monthly charge with nothing resolved. It's just way too expensive for what it is. This cost should be $300-$400 maximum. Don't spend $1500, it's too much money. read more

Steven and Regan are our pest control techs and I can't rate their Integrity, service and professionalism more highly. We live deep in the Tonto Forest so mother nature rules the roost out here. Fortunately these guys have eliminated our numerous pest challenges completely. Truly Nolen is not the cheapest but for us they offer the Highest Value in pest control. I trust them in my home like a family member. They only offer and promote services that actually work, and both have never been sales driven, instead the focus on results. If there is ever a problem they are on it within a day or two. I should also point out the phone service is outstanding. Excellent communications, updates and thorough explanations of what services were provided and trackable results from those services. Call truly Nolan for bed bugs treatment at one of our units on Indian School and 12th street. They did three treatments. the end result was that bed bugs are still there and now we needed to call a different company. We offer them to continue the treatment and they responded we signed a 30 days contract. I'm just missing the days of companies doing the job they supposed to do like advertised, so in my book they are done and will never get a call from us again read more

I've been a customer for a few years now. Whenever I call if I have problems they are quick to respond. Last year I had a lot of scorpions- tiny ones. I called the office hysterical and the next morning the technician was there. At that point I looked into getting my house sealed. My technician came and sealed the house and knock wood no problems since. The technician who serves my area is Jake. He is the best. He's polite, he listens to me and really takes wonderful care of us. He answers our questions and works with our schedule. He's a keeper for sure. The folks that answer the phones are great as well special shout out to Monica who I seem to mostly speak to when I call. Keep doing what you are doing because in my book Jake and the others are Truly the best! Also I saw another post where someone mentions Josh is their technician. I can't recall ever getting worse customer service than I got with Truly Nolen when I tried to get my pigeon problem taken care of. The service guy is named Jake, and he is the flakiest, most worthless employee I have ever come across. He no-showed me at least four times. What should have taken less that a week took almost three months because Jake just decided he didn't want to do the work. I paid $1800 to get the pigeons removed from my roof and it was like pulling teeth to get Jake to finish the work. He had to come back FOUR TIMES to finally finish the job. I called every week or 2 to try to get Truly Nolen to actually finish the job. There was a manager named David who came out with Jake once to look at the job after I had called several times, but David didn't actually follow up at all to make sure the job was done. Jake had flaked out again. Eventually David was replaced by a guy named Josh, and FINALLY the work got done. I hope Josh turns this business around because David and Jake were completely worthless. It took almost 3 months to get my job done, and I didn't get an apology or a refund or any sympathy from Truly Nolen. They say "your pest problems are your past problems." If you're willing to wait three months and call them every week, that may be true. What a horrible experience I had using Truly Nolen to take care of my pest problem. read more

I have used Truly Nolen for pest control in all three of my houses. At my first house, two other companies couldn't make an impact on the number of scorpions we saw inside (at least one a week). The summer after we signed up with Truly Nolen, we had one inside all summer and it was right by the front door. When we moved we took our service with us to the new house, had them treat before we moved in and never had a problem with any bugs at that house. We also used them for termites at this house and never had any issues. Moved again and took our service with us, had scorpions inside when we moved into the new house but after a few treatments, we had no scorpions inside this past summer! I highly recommend service for any bug or termite issues. read more

This company is the WORST! I wish I could post pictures of the destruction that has happened in my home since they came out. My couches, refrigerator, floor boards, curtains, and holes in my walls have all happened AFTER Truly Nolen came out and did whatever they did. I have asked for a manager to call for 2 weeks and NOTHING! They say they care but NEVER said anything about possible destruction or gave tips on how to safe gaurd our home. They refuse to help or refund to help cover any of the damage. They trapped a rat into my home instead of the attic. I don't even want to live here anymore. It is a horrible feeling knowing all they cared about was charging me $1100+. They didn't even show up for the first appointment to check traps after I paid them. I had to call them and ask them to come out. I have been requesting a call from a manager since June 16th. NOTHING. I was told the technician and a manager would come out today. NO SHOW. Didn't even have the decency to call and say they were no longer coming. We had to call them 45 min after they didn't show. DO NOT CALL THEM FOR SERVICES. THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY! read more

The Truly Nolen technician who serviced our house and external areas, called us at approximately 6am on July 5th to say that he would be coming over shortly. He was at our house about 6:20-7am. Not his usual time. Also he usually gives a day's notice as we have dogs and had a desert turtle. The desert turtle died within 48 hours after his visit. The turtle had been healthy. The technician told us that he had moved the turtle during the treatment session. We suspect he may have inadverdently sprayed the turtle, which is probably why he moved it. We feel that proper notice was not given as we would have made sure that the turtle was out of harms way. When we called the Truly Nolen Office and spoke with one of their technicians, he asked if we had gotten an autopsy! Seriously !!! I was so upset.. The tech then told me he would relay the message. A manager did return my call and said he will investigate .. he called me probably an hour later ... His assessment was that it was a coincidence that my healthy turtle died 2 days after .. This tech appeared to be in a hurry. Giving us a call that early in the morning after the July 4th holiday and coming over and starting service very quickly thereafter never gave us a chance to put our turtle out of harms way. We terminated our service... I believe the next day a manager from Truly Nolen left us a message letting us know if we decide to come back they will give us a discount on starting up again.. What NERVE !! I love my pets.. I miss Toby my turtle everyday.. We feel the timing of this tragic event speaks for itself and we were extremely disappointed that Truly Nolen would not even acknowledge the possibility that it was their fault.
