Shout out to the worker because I came here a few months ago (sorry super late post) and she was stacked busy taking the orders and making the drinks. My order took really long to get done, but I don't blame the girl at all. It was really the lack of support in workers. I know this place has better reviews so I'm wondering if it was either an off day or because they were still in the mix of trying to figure things out, but my drink lacked in tea flavor. It was a creme brûlée, but I didn't get much of it. Super cute spot and has the potential of being great and maybe it is. I gotta give it another try.

I was excited to see that they served egg coffee but was disappointed after the first sip. The coffee was not the strong traditional vietnamese coffee you would normally expect, it was watered down and still luke warm. I think they had just brewed the coffee and poured it over ice which probably contributed to further diluting the coffee. I was also not a fan of their take on the whipped egg, it reminded me more of sea salt foam than egg.

Strawberry Green Tea Lemonade with Lychee Jelly

I have driven past this place a few times on my way to work, but due to the time of when I stay my shift, I could never catch them open. However, the one time I had to go in early, I was able to snag something along the way. Inside is pretty spacious and ordering was simple. I saw the Strawberry Lemonade Green Tea is a high seller, so I decided to give it a try. Strawberry Lemonade Green Tea: It tasted exactly as described. Though, I tasted more of the lemonade than the green tea. I'm not a huge fan of Arnold Palmers, so this was their take on it. The lemonade was very tart and the drink was not too sweet (at 50%). The lychee jelly helped bring some of it back and it was a refreshing drink overall. I may consider coming back here again and trying something different

I like the lychee tea here. Used to really like the place, before today's incident. I went inside to pick up (as I have done many times before). I showed the DoorDash order and asked afterwards can I have raffle coupon. The girl who was working there replied that "you need to buy in order to get it". Really pi**ed me off, she couldn't just assume people coming there to pick up are DoorDash drivers! This employee needs to be trained properly. Horrible experience

Truly Tea Cafe is a very aesthetically pleasing boba shop, with a beautiful internal wall mural and a corner floral arrangement from ceiling to floor. The cafe is super cute, very attractive and picturesque. The roasted oolong milk tea with grass jelly was creamy and had good tea flavor. The coffee caramel freeze was sweet and refreshing. Drinks, service, and ambiance were all excellent.

Visited truly tea cafe and it was such a delight! We were greeted and the staff was very knowledgeable about the drinks and even giving us recommendations. We tried the passion fruit Yakult, egg coffee, bubble cone and the coconut shrimp. Everything was very delicious. Would definitely come back again. The staff were very friendly and it's a very cute and cozy restaurant! They also have a reward card.

What a great place! The owner (Tru) was very friendly and welcomed us (as well as his two-year old daughter who was playing and running around). I had the fish balls with Muy Ploy sauce. It was fresh and seasoned well. My wife had the mongo smoothie with boba (1/2 sweetness). It had real mangoes! Definitely a treat. The place was spacious and welcoming but the parking could be busy (depending if it's rush hour). There were plenty of seating and tables that were comfortable. 100% recommend!

EDITED: Oh man, not sure why the owner decided to hyperfixate on a 5 min time difference and share their personal vendetta against Starbucks-- and I don't even drink Starbucks lol. Anyways, I previously worked a mom-and-pop boba shop for some time and this is still an egregious amount of time for 3 items compared to most non-chain boba shops. Check my account for plenty of positive boba shop and small biz reviews :) This response is weirdly aggressive, pretty unprofessional yikes! -- Cute decor but smelled heavily like cleaning fluid everywhere... So unappetizing. Located in a strip mall with ample parking. ROASTED OOLONG MILK TEA (50% sweet, 50% ice, with boba): The tea is lacking. Mainly watery with no roasted flavor. The boba is at least sweetened, but overcooked and gummy. And they don't do less than 50% ice nor sugar? Interesting choice... Egg coffee is delicious & rich but took 20 mins to prepare. IDK if they were just swamped with online orders or what, but the rest of our order was out and ready significantly earlier than the egg coffee-- even the food (Taiwanese fried tofu). Literally standing around in an empty shop just waiting for the one drink.

Oreo Chocolate Milk Tea, Tiramisu Cheese Foam, and Coffee with foam.

I came here with my son early Thursday morning, and found the near five star rating on yelp deserved. The atmosphere was gentle and inviting, and the aroma of freshly brewed tea was a welcomed scent. We were greeted by extremely warm, and kind people and recommended drinks to try as we were new there. We got the Tiramisu Cheese Foam with an Oreo Chocolate Milk Tea, both drinks were delicious, and we've tried a LOT of boba shops. Throughout the entire time there the best part was the people behind the counter who were checking on us and making sure that our experience in the shop was great. They were respectful, and generous enough to even give us a small treat for free. I will definitely be coming here again to try out other drinks with my family, no notes!

Came in with my husband. Super friendly staff. My husband ordered a strawberry lemonade with boba, I ordered a Thai tea with boba. They ended up running out of strawberry so my husband got the guava instead. We both got the default ice and sweetness option. Thai tea was really good. Boba had the perfect texture. The guava tea was way to sweet for me personally, but I would've enjoyed it with a lower sweetness level. Overall we enjoyed our teas. Will be back.

My family and I visited for the first time and the experience was 10/10! Service - The staff and owner, Tru, were so friendly, social, and attentive. Tru welcomed us in and made some recommendations. I could tell by the way he treated his employees that he is great to work with. When we were eating, many regular customers came in and he knew all their names. He has a lot of pride in his business and it truly shows. Ambiance - 10/10 on cleanliness and decor. The place is super cute and the painting on the wall is beautiful. Also the bathroom is very clean! Food - 10/10 for food. We ordered the calamari, fries, and bubble waffles. Tru also let us try some fried banana for free, which was 10/10 as well. Each order was $7 each which is super affordable. We ordered oreo chocolate milk tea, strawberry milk tea, and strawberry freeze. I give the drinks a 6/10, just because we got 100% sweetness and they werent sweet at all. It wasnt bad, but I think they could use a little more flavor. Overall we will definitely come back to this place. The location is conveniently located, parking is abundant, and again, the staff is awesome!!

The space is thoughtfully designed--open, comfortable, and visually appealing, with a unique wall-style menu and a well-executed bar setup. I appreciate the creativity in the menu, especially the blended lattes, which are not commonly found in specialty coffee. That said, the drinks themselves have been inconsistent. At times, the balance between espresso and milk is off, and sweetness levels can feel a bit overwhelming. Service has been mixed but at time defensive and in some cases while not intentionally unfriendly, interactions can feel somewhat unwelcoming, and there have been moments where a more engaging, knowledgeable approach would have made a difference. How do you not know the oz of you cups? I really wanted this to become my regular spot given the convenience and potential, but the overall experience hasn't quite matched expectations. With some refinement in both service and drink consistency, this place could truly stand out. Salted maple latte would hit but it was was too sweet and over all i could tell the shot was underextracted. Yet still gave 30 percent tip because grace is given even when we dont deserve it but this review i hope is considered. Hoping these things will shift that I could come back.

Had a great experience at The Hen and Drake…read more My spouse and I came around noon on a Friday holiday without a reservation and they were able to accommodate us. It's a small but gorgeous tearoom that seats about 26ish people total. We opted for their cream tea option which is a personal pot of tea and 2 scones per person. My spouse is a pretty picky so unfortunately they dislike most tea sandwiches but loves scones so it's the perfect option for us. We also grabbed a couple counter desserts to try. My spouse got the blueberry darjeeling and I got the rose chai. Both were delicious but we liked the blueberry better if we had to pick one. We got a strawberry eclaire and a duck egg creme brulee as our counter desserts. The creme brulee was to die for and we found out that duck eggs were from the owners personal ducks do they agree as fresh and healthy as you can get knowing exactly what the ducks are fed. They had actually run out of scones when we got there and were very apologetic and transparent on the bake time needed. They offered to remove the scones from our bill if we didn't want to wait but we gladly waited and enjoyed our desserts first. The scones came out maybe 5 minutes after we finished the desserts and they checked in with us again. They were fresh out of the oven and served with faux Devonshire cream and a housemade cherry compote from local cherries. They were well worth the wait. If I had any suggestions it would be to make a reservation option for cream tea on their website as I totally would have made a reservation but it only had the option for afternoon tea reservations.

Knowing this is a Black woman-owned business makes the experience even sweeter--it's clear this space was built with heart, pride, and community in mind. A must-visit tea room that I'll happily return to again and again.
