First thing... you order from a kiosk when you walk in. Kinda cute honestly. The spot is small but they have TVs going and little Connect Four games on the tables so it has a fun vibe. Nicole was working and she was genuinely warm and welcoming. Not that fake "hi welcome in" energy . She actually made you feel like you were supposed to be there. I did my research before going so we passed on the catfish (the reviews on that were not it). Instead I got the Large Garlic Noodles, Chicken & Sausage Rasta Pasta, and the Crawfish & Sausage Mac N Cheese. All three were hitting. Like actually good, not just hype good. After the food came I decided to try the watermelon lemonade and that was a solid decision. Not too sweet, really refreshing. For dessert we grabbed the Peach Cobbler out of the display case. It came in a little tin that it was made in, and it was slightly dry, but the flavor was there. Tasty, just needs some work. Came out to $70.25 total which honestly felt right for what we got. We will be back to try more stuff for sure. Maybe the protein items next time.

For their prices and beautiful ambiance, I would expect better. Fast forward to Mother's Day. (Late review I know) My mother wanted to go here for an early dinner. I wasn't happy about her choice, but hey, it's her day. After arriving with my wife we were promptly seated. My mother ordered the salmon, my step-dad ordered I forget what, and my wife and I ordered the ribeye steak. My wife and I had ordered the ribeye there before. The previous times the steaks were bland. This time though, wow! The food was super delicious! Now to the service. Keonna. Keonna kept looking at my mother. Not in a weird way, but in a I think I know you from somewhere way. Finally she told my mom she reminded her of her grandmother and told my mother she was beautiful. That made my mother smile. Keonna was also super attentive and on top of everything. Thank you, Keonna. You helped make my mom's day that much better. This experience, especially the food and Keonna, definitely ensures that we will be back.

Our server has been working at Old Mac's House over 50 years!! The ambiance is retro, with sports memorabilia decorating the walls. There's a full service bar which was busy. With your entree, you get fresh veggies (not frozen), pasta, soup AND salad with your meal. The portion of your meal is very decent for the price. You will NOT find a restaurant like Old Mac's House that serves a full meal at very reasonable price point anywhere at this point in time. Old Mac's is a rarity in this day and age. Prime rib - 5/5 The regular bit is decent, approx 8 oz. The extra cut is 16+ oz. The meat was succulent and tender. The flavor and taste of the rub was light on my cut, but I still enjoyed my prime rib. Rib eye - 4/5 A decent 10 oz cut of rib eye steak, seasoned with just salt and pepper. It was cooked to perfection. Very tasty and tender. Fresh Salmon (Cajun style) - 5/5 I was surprised with this selection on how generous the salmon fillet was. The Cajun spice was not spicy hot, which I prefer. The salmon was flaky and tender. Not hard and dry. I am so sad that Mac's Old House will be closing 6/22/25. Many people and families will be sad. Please visit the Old Mac's House before they close. Be aware the wait line starts before they open at 4pm. It is worth the wait. You will not be disappointed.

Food is served as you would be served in an Italian place. Orders first taken then food comes in waves to all tables . Food was quite ok for the price. I think we would have enjoyed it more had they had the open bar available. Though I did note some regulars had ordered drinks along with their meals But we did get to feel n taste of Atioch / Oakley / Brentwood era over 50 years ago and surrounded by all at least a generation older than us. We bid Adieu and hope the owners get to enjoy their well earned rest.

Tim asked for a spicy margarita and our server came up with an amazing spicy Margarita. Like the BEST EVER! We also got the Cesar salad that was extremely good. (If you know you know not all places have good Cesar salads) but theirs was fire.. the lasagna and ribeye with prawns. Both were super good. I practically licked the the lasagna bowl clean ... and I'm embarassed to say that same day we later ordered through doordash the garlic bread and chicken Alfredo. OMG both were 10/10! I know it'll be even better in person. So next time I'll get the shrimp Alfredo as I'm just working my way through the menu lol So the server, I'm so sad I forgot his name . Do you have a food return to the dining room with menus and hand and no one attempted to see what was going on There were only two other couples sitting in the room. It was almost empty. We wound up moving back to the dining area because we plan to have tea and coffee. Once we or seated in the main dining area, the service was stellar. They checked on its regularly. I adore this restaurant and I really enjoy the fact that they've started covering the outdoor patio area so you don't have direct Son.
