Cold brew was really good. Definitely a unique flavor, a little nutty with some fruitiness to it. Not like the typical cold brew you get everywhere else. I also put in a mobile order last minute not realizing they were about to close. There was only one person working and they still got my order done no problem while helping multiple other customers and doing like 3 things at once. This place is honestly the best coffee shop in Brentwood and near by areas. Every time I visit the area I have to come here daily! The coffee and matchas are amazing here. I love their matcha, they use a great matcha to milk ratio. They change up their seasonal menus often with homemade syrups with fun flavors and syrups that never disappoint. This time I got an iced salted honey vanilla matcha with oatmilk and an iced lavender haze matcha with oatmilk. Both drink were so tasty but the iced salted honey is definitely one of my favorite flavors I've had here. I've always had a welcoming pleasant experience at this shop. I truly enjoyed my visit to Chrome Coffee! The latte was delicious and so smooth that I took my time enjoying every sip. My only regret was not ordering a larger size! I also tried the banana loaf. It had great flavor, although the texture was a little thicker and denser than I personally prefer. The highlight of the experience was definitely the ambiance. Great little coffee shop! I've driven by numerous times and have seen people lined up. Luckily when I went it was just a few people inside. I felt adventurous and tried the honey lavender latte. First sip was a little tricky with my taste buds but each sip was delicious. I got the honey flavor first then the lavender came. I also ordered ham and cheese croissant. Found this coffee shop while I was in Brentwood exploring. First thing that hit me was how friendly they were. The two worker's energy made my visit 10000x worth it by itself! Their demeanor and smile just brightened up my day! I ordered the matcha with vanilla syrup and foam and their iced vanilla latte. The matcha was good, not super sweet which I like. The vanilla latte was good too. Smooth, not bitter. Overall the drinks were good enough for me to come back and try again. Small coffee shop in downtown Brentwood. Street parking. The strawberry and cream oatmilk matcha was good! My husband ordered banana bread latte and he enjoyed it as well. Our kids were with us and we got them their own kids lemonade. The lady asked us if they wanted regular, strawberry, or other syrup flavors. I got a regular vanilla latte, so there's not much I can say about the coffee itself. It did its job, I was able to wake up! The tiny store has some barstools for seating both inside and outside the shop. I love the Antioch Chrome (it has the cutest courtyard and very sweet employees) so I was excited when they opened another location in Brentwood. On their seasonal menu this year they have a housemade gingerbread syrup! The flavor was mild, but what I appreciate about Chrome is their coffee is very smooth and not acidic, so while I wished there was a stronger gingerbread taste, the latte was still cozy. Retrospectively, I wish I had ordered it iced. I think the flavor would've come out more, plus it could've come with whip and the little gingerbread men sprinkles. read more

I love supporting small business. I know this is a local favorite and I'm trying to like it just as much but I'm not a coffee drinker so I guess my rating can't be totally fair given that I'm rating their matcha and chai latte. The matcha flavor is just completely lacking. I've tried it with double matcha, regular milk, oat milk, almond milk, and it's never satisfying. I don't like a sweet matcha flavor so that's not what I'm after, but either way this isn't a spot for matcha lattes, IMO. Same goes for their chai but that one at least has a subtle flavor.
