When you need a killer new button up, a smoking belt, trendy tie, a slim wallet, Trumaker has you covered. However when you are about to marry the woman of your dreams, stop what you're doing and make an appointment to get fitted for a suit that will make your wedding complete (as well as make your soon to be wifey nearly fall down when she sees you for her first time!) Next, do yourself a favor and ask for Sari to be your outfitter. Best thing about Trumaker is they have a crew of really friendly, attentive, professional outfitters - aka men's clothing scientists that REALLY know their shit! Color schemes, patterns, fabrics.. guys, you get to build your own fit from the ground up. It's fitted perfectly, it feels good, it looks good - in return YOU feel not only good, but amazing! Every one of the outfitters are legit, however I may be a bit biased with my girl Sari because she knocked this one out of the park. A slight alteration after the suit was constructed (free of charge at the resident Tailor) in return, delivered a suit that I not only wore on the best day of my life, but a suit I can confidently say that i will wear for the rest of my life. Thank you Trumaker and thank you Sari for hitting this home run out of the o for me!

I will start with the positives: They have a wide variety of fabrics and styles. There are some really great patterns as well as the classics that everyone should have in their closet. The convenience of having someone come to your home or office to measure you is really nice. The people that work there are willing to do whatever it takes to make you happy. The negatives: My first order took a pretty long time to get right, but they did whatever it took to get the shirts right so that I was happy. Now going forward every shirt I order will be perfect. My first recommendation is do not order more than one shirt on your first order. Even though they said they would make one shirt, check to make sure it fits, and then proceed with making the remaining shirts, they did not follow this procedure and it was quite a hassle to get all four shirts in my initial order to fit right. Order one shirt, make sure you are happy with it and then order as many as you'd like. Secondly, they have a "watch option" for whatever side you wear your watch on. The amount of room they add to the wrist is not enough to fit my watch, which is a normal size men's watch. They are going to fix it so that the shirt fits around my watch, but my recommendation would be to just have the tailor measure your wrist while wearing a watch. Lastly, when you get your shirts, immediately wash and dry them. The shirts shrink quite a bit and Trumaker builds them to account for this. So when you get your shirt for the first time and try it on, it will seem quite big. But once you wash and dry it, it should fit perfectly.

It took me 5months to pick it up because I coming from San Jose couldn't make the time to go but I was finally able to and Mr. Odsy himself told me that you can ship the shoes to him and vice versa for $10 about to San Jose, all you need to do is call to arrange! That's so sick and modern. I'm definitely gonna be back for more worn pairs.

The worst of them 'lost' my shoes and were unapologetic about it. So after I bought some really expensive leather shoes at Community Thrift (love them!) for a couple of bucks that needed stretching, new soles and some love I decided to try out the place with the 5 star Yelp review ...Odsy. I called them and described what I wanted. After talking it was clear the work was not gonna be cheap, but considering I bought the shoes for a song seemed like a decent bet. Well wow they delivered!! Odsy gave them all of the love for what, in the end, I would say was a very fair price considering the quality of the work. Turn around was about a week which I thought was pretty fast. If you have some nice shoes that need some help I absolutely recommend this place. Oh yeah..and they are super lovely people. :)

Disapointing anyways, this store has some 'designer' level clothing at varying prices that very wildly. Buying a 100 dollar pair of somewhat gothic style pants, the original owner guy I purchased from was kind of cool. we chatted things up, he kind of gave me some pointers for sf fashion spots, talked to me about some of the other items around the shop (including a 1000 dollar concealable leather pouch). I usually like to give things time... evaluate places before sticking with them... so opting to wait on anything else... I make a trip to japan (where I purchased another gothic style pants from the yellow house... which were even more disappointing that Ceiba. Details are in the review I made for them). Also, mind you, both pants are elastic and the material is a little thick, they were both very comfortable. after coming back, I had to get both pants repaired. the ceiba pants I've had to have repaired twice (but it still has more damage on it that I haven't gotten repaired. the pockets are falling apart for one) now while the japanese yellow house pants I've had to have repaired 3 times now. It's rare that I need to have my clothes repaired... mostly its seams coming undone and I can usually fix those myself.... usually... but these were more that the fabric was giving out. the seams were strong but the pants were fraying or giving out around the seams. I cant just sew that back in. I've gone to Ceiba twice to try to talk to them about the material, the pants, repairs... and just to find solutions. the first time for them to give me advice on to handle it myself... and the second time, after SEVERAL times having to pay to get them fixed, to see if maybe the item was just bad or something and finding more vendor and patron solutions. both times it was a woman this time and both times she could not help. I do not recommend people come here for clothes, its a nice name place to show off a bit and pretend to be more socioeconomically established but little more than that.
