I can not really comment on the other barbers he hired, because I try 9 out 10 times to get my haircut from the owner, BIG MIKE. Like with any barbershop, some days they are on point with your cut and some days they are not. However, BIG Mike is very constitent in getting my cut right. Not to say he is perfect, he does mess up. But he is constistent. Doesn't bring my line back and makes my cut looks sharp.

So I went in and it was filled with old ladies getting their hair cut/permed/curled by other old ladies. My hairdresser however was younger (Named Celora, she gives amazing shampoo massages!) and she knew exactly what to do. After about 20 minutes my hair was exactly the right length and I was extremely happy. They do not take card, BUT they were more than happy to let me walk 5 mins down the street to get cash and come back. I can't believe they have that much faith in their customers! I will be coming back, even though it is an old lady salon.

Celora is the only person I will let touch my hair. But for the price, and the fact that Celora is very accomodating for me personally, I keep going back. I stopped in for a line-up this evening, but I have to say I was not that impressed. It was just ok and the person who gave it to me Was Not Benny. Anyways, this joker tried to charge me $15 (the price menu is on the wall and clearly says "line-up $10") I'd say it was worth about $5. I told him I wasn't going to pay him $15 and he backed down. I heard Benny is great but just make sure to ask for him and not this other guy. Unfortunately, I won't be going back. I'm going to stick with the best which is Celebrity Barber in the south end. I always get an awesome line-up at a more than fair price.
