I have to say I was truly impressed by the selection they had. I live far away so I've only been twice but each time has been a magical experience. The shop is so cute and community focused, and because they're always taking in curated pre-owned fits (or should I say, pre-adventured ) their stock changes every time. And going there gives you a personalized experience and supports the community rather than a faceless corporation. They also have a HUUUUGEEE plus sized section. I was actually genuinely shocked. This place is perfect for all music festivals, including EDC, Coachella, and Wonderland. You can even find some stuff for Stage Coach and country and R&B music festivals too! I really enjoyed my visit to Trunkshop Apparel! I heard a lot of good things from my friends and finally found time to go visit! I brought a bag of some of my old festival and concert flows and was able to receive either $60 in store credit or $30 cash which was super cool. I ended up getting the store credit because I found some items that I wanted to wear at my next festival and my total for this visit was only three dollars! I think that the shop is really great if you want some inspiration or don't want to spend too much on accessories, like sunglasses, headbands, face gems, or jewelry. It's also worth a stop to try to sell some of your old sets and outfits. read more

Very unique thrift store just for ravers!! Love that they have two changing areas. Didn't exchange clothes but love the idea of it. Most items weren't cheap, but were reasonable. What I love is that they sell good brands and not just "SHEIN" items. Most items were from Zara, I heart Raves, fashion nova, rave wonderland. And even a variety of plus size options which is super cool! Will come back. read more

TrunkShop Apparel is one of the funnest thrifting experiences I've had in a while. The first thing I noticed? It doesn't have that thrift store funk- bless. This tiny gem is packed with vibrant colors and a perfectly curated assortment with something for literally everyone. The store is small, so expect to do the "squeeze-and-slide" shuffle if more than about four people are inside. That aside, it's worth it! I did one quick lap and found a stunning Asian-inspired satin duster that called out my full name (as listed on my credit card). Of course, I responded with a tap of said card at the register. The check-out experience was great! Simple & easy. The shop girl (maybe the owner) was super sweet and shared that the store was fairly new to the area. She removed the tag so that I could put the duster on immediately and strut across the street to a local bar, and I kid you not...instant compliments. The look of surprise on each face who asked where I purchased it was priceless. Trunkshop prices are super reasonable. The duster was $25, but with all the attention it drew to me you'd think I was fitted in coveted luxury designer priced item. Trunkshop is the kind of hidden gem that makes you feel like a fashion insider. I love this addition to LB and I'm ecstatic that I stumbled upon it on an afternoon out with friends. Went to drop off some old rave clothes that didnt fit me anymore before donating. They opened at 11 but were happy to service me even though I said I could wait til about 1:30 pm (wow so nice!). I brought roughly 8-10 pieces and a couple sets, some with tags, some gently used but basically new (and washed!) and got about $60 in store credit! Everything is under $40-50 and affordable vs rave wonderland/iheartraves and other dance/festival shops :) 1000% will make the 2hr drive again :D read more

I wanted to like this place, but the attitude from the staff made it impossible. Instead of being friendly or helpful, they were dismissive and unwelcoming. It felt like customers were an inconvenience rather than the reason the store exists. Thrifting should be fun -- this experience was the opposite. read more

I was really looking forward to visiting this shop after seeing so many good reviews, but I left disappointed. I brought in a brand-new outfit with the tag still on showing a retail price of $119. I was willing to accept at least $80 or a fair offer, but I was only offered $25 store credit or $10 cash. That's not even close to reasonable for something new and unworn. This is my absolute favorite store. The clothes here are always so adorable! They have so many different Demonia-style boots every time I come for like 30-50 bucks, which is always so amazing. I love this place, and the owner Lena even more! Fun stuff such reasonable prices and not some stuffy mall store she'll help you find the right outfit but is also a straight shooter so if you don't look great in something you are trying on she'll suggest something else w such tact. Seriously only place lately I can find cute matching underwear sets. My only wish is that she's organize by size. If she did that though I'd probably spend way too much and I already spend an absurd amount there. I just love the items. The experience everything! In my top 2 favorite thrift shops in California. I have been looking for unique/artsy/high quality festival/funky/badass pieces everywhere and it is rare to find just one at practically any other thrift store I go to. When I came in I was shocked to find this place OVERFLOWING with them. I spent hours in here.. I met the owner and she was so sweet and personable. She helped me with whatever I needed and was proactive in seeing what I needed. She really has an eye for unique pieces. Also her pieces are super affordable! A diamond in the rough for sure.
