They put a crown on a tooth we had been watching for several years, where decay built up under an old filling. They saved the tooth. It was painless and fairly quick. Dr L and his staff are amazing!!! I first visited after having had awful and painful experiences and needed to keep trying to find help for my developed fear of dentists. After my first treatment I was never afraid again. My husband stayed with the old dentist and I got so tired of him complaining about how bad his mouth hurt after numerous visits and how he didn't want to go. Since moving to Texas I've had some really bad experiences with dentist. Most of the places I went to were just trying to scam you out of money but not Dr Lindeman. It's very hard for me to trust people because of the experiences I've had however it's different with Dr Lindeman and his staff. The are honest, treat you with respect and have fair and transparent business practices. Unlike some places there's no surprises when the bill comes or extra bills months later. I bring the whole family to this office to get a range of services done from tooth cleaning to major dental work and it's the same flawless result every time. They are also really great with kids and have watched our kids while we were getting our teeth cleaned. I can't say enough good things about them. This is the best Dentist I have been too. I am terrified of dentist due to some really bad experiences, but Dr. Lindeman is the best he made me feel calm and feel safe, he took his time with me and I could not be happier. From the time you walk in the front door to the billing process at the end, this entire staff is extremely professional. There is never a push to get the recommended work done, but they will certainly keep you informed. I have the worst teeth and have seen many dentists in my life ! You could say I am kind of an expert on dentists haha! I started going to Dr.Lindeman about 3 or 4 years ago and I am very impressed by him and his staff . I have had root canals , implants , cavities filled by him and he has done an excellent job at a fair price . He has a great bedside manner and is very kind, which is very important to me ! PLEASE PLEASE take the time to get at least 2 consults with other offices. there are several other highly recommended DDS in the Medical Center area that have written journals as well have done work in lower cost communities throughout the world. This is important because most people are not aware of how often DDS offices attempt to bill for unnecessary procedures or additional tools. When an office is attempting to sell you dental cleaning tools or using acquisition marketing tools you should wonder why. I did not enjoy my experience and in addition chose NOT to return for a basic cleaning. I had a dental emergency and they were able to get me (and another person while I was there!) same day! Dr Nguyen and The assistant, forget her name, treated me so great and kept me comfortable while I was in the chair (for a couple hours unfortunately) They were definitely troopers cuz I'm sure they didn't leave that night til after midnight. Still have a few more visits to finish me up, but so far I'm impressed. I've gone to this office for cleanings for a couple years now, but nothing major has happened til just now. Went in last week to get my teeth cleaned and to my surprise there was a dog in the office. Ugh.... is this bring your dog to work day? You gotta be kidding me right. I was hesitant to get my teeth cleaned after seeing that but already taken the time off of work so i just had it cleaned anyways. While cleaning my teeth the hygienist phone keeps ringing and she would leave in the middle of the cleaning with my mouth wide open to take her calls.Then I could hear the dog squealing and asked her about it and she said "oh there's no dog" I just saw you stash that poor dog in the back!!! IDK if they are running a vets office or what?!?!?!?! I wouldn't recommend this office, i asked if a dentist would exam my teeth and the hygienist said he's on vacation with his family right now. I went in to this office because of the groupon for a cleaning! My cleaning was with a hygienist who was not the best ! I felt like it was wam bam thank you mam service. However ,when I complained they offered for another hygienist to clean my teeth. She did a better job! I then went to see Dr. Voight for fillings on my two front teeth and he was a bit rushed! I felt a little anxious and I know he wasn't to happy about that because he told me to stay still. Needless to say my two front teeth were not shaped right and the fillings were hurting my gums. I consulted with two other dentists and both told me they could fix what clearly looked wrong . I ended up going with Dr. Austin to fix my teeth and he did a wonderful job! He actually studied the mold of my teeth before working on them. Now they are shaped better and the gums are not bothering me. I really feel I paid to much and should have had some type of refund. Be warned. do not go to this dentist unless you want to mortgage your house. Went there for a simple bi-annual teeth cleaning and felt extremely discomfited by the overwhelming hard sell approach by the dentist, hygienist and office manager to have multiple and unnecessary work done. They poked my gums so hard during the exam that they bled and then told me that I needed $1000 worth of deep cleaning. I brush and floss my teeth twice a day and they NEVER bleed ( not before the exam nor afterward). When i refused to sign up for deep cleaning, the office manager came in and demanded that i sign a waver for the state of Texas because i refused to have the procedure done. Not only will I never go back to this dentist, but I'm going to e-mail everyone I know in San antonio and apprise them of my bad experience with this dentist. read more
