I recently booked a facial at Truth Organic Spa as a birthday present for myself. What an amazing treat!!! I don't get facials or pamper myself often (it was actually exactly 20 years since my last facial!!!). The booking was easy to do online and they sent me a confirmation as well as a couple reminders. I had never been to Truth before so I didn't have a preference on estheticians, which I could have requested while making the appointment. Due to COVID they are requesting that you call when you arrive and they'll inform you when you can come inside. It is absolutely beautiful in the spa, very zen like and peaceful. I was quickly greeted by Melissa S. who was going to do my facial. Melissa was very warm and welcoming. She made me feel relaxed right away. I was brought to one of the rooms which was dimly lit with soft music playing. My facial was so refreshing. She worked on me for about an hour and 15 minutes applying all kinds of creams and serums to my face. It was wonderful. She also plucked a few stray eyebrows and trimmed my eyebrows while she was was letting some serums do their 'magic'. My skin looked so healthy and a lot of those little lines seemed to disappear by the time she was done. It was definitely a treat and I'm looking forward to treating myself to another facial, but hopefully I won't wait another 20 years for the next one!! read more

Wow! Just left feeling AAAHHHHHmazing! My sister and I both just had deep tissue Swedish massages and they were incredible. Both our ladies asked a lot of questions and listened to understand what we each needed. We both had very custom experiences. I tend to think most masseuses don't push hard enough. I told my lady I wanted pretty deep and she did it perfectly. A good combo of deep pressure and relaxation. The spa itself was very clean and very cute. They have lots of plants and greenery. They have a huge menu of services. I would love to try them all if I wasn't visiting from out of town. My sister already said this would be her new spot. read more

I found Truth because I was searching for a local Float Room. I haven't been able to stop coming to this spa for services since that first float experience. I have also had Reiki, Biofield Tuning and the Best of Both Worlds spa experience. I have attended a workshop with Suzanne D. who is also a licensed therapist and I plan to attend her sound bowl healing workshop in May as well. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. The spa itself is inviting, calming and tranquil. There are plenty of products to choose from after your treatment as well as healing crystals for purchase. Amazing place. My husband booked me an facial treatment for my bday and it was superb. It was so relaxing I almost fell asleep, and my skin felt wonderful after. Melissa made the experience absolutely blissful, and the spa's atmosphere is calm and relaxing as soon as you step in. I booked a deep tissue massage with Maddie, and again it was excellent - I've had a lot of tension in my back and hips and both felt better afterwards. I wish I lived in Grafton so I was closer to this spa but even though I'm not local, I plan to make the trip back to enjoy more treatments because of the exceptional team and outstanding services. read more

I love it here! I have gone to so many massage therapists but the people that work here are very friendly and do a fantastic job! The products they use are top notch Organic products, Julie the owner is very particular about her products and want to offer her customers the best! You get what you pay for, I came in last January my face was a mess, now I get a facial and a Massage every month and use the products and my face has never looked better! I get so many compliments on how clear my complexion is and I always tell people you get what you pay for, the products are pricy but they work! You not putting all those bad chemicals in your skin. I love how her store Truth In Beauty is right downstairs where you can purchase all the organic products! If you don't mind noise from busy route 140, you might find this spa satisfactory. Two of the massage therapists gave me excellent massages, with Sam standing out as exceptionally responsive and skilled, with a wonderful smooth stroke, very intuitive and able to read what was needed, beyond what I realized! After I asked for a quieter room, they accommodated me by scheduling room 5, the only one that is quieter because it's located at the back of the building. I thought this would work out and that I could set up regular massages with Sam. However, the day before my 4th session (tomorrow),they called and said they had put me in another room because Room 5 is set up for Thai massage, with a conflict tomorrow. ALL of their other rooms have loud traffic noise that penetrates even the best ambient sound. I'm very disappointed to find out that they cannot guarantee a quiet room at any time--any Thai massage will take priority. Truth just lost a regular and potentially loyal client! All of the staff people were kind and thoughtful, but management is not simply willing to deal effectively with the noise issue. read more

I truly had the worst eyebrow wax of my life here. My eyebrows have always been a nice, thick shape and Melissa made them so thin and uneven. I'm so frustrated and don't understand why someone would change the natural shape of your eyebrows. It will take months to grow back my natural brows. read more

I was very impressed and cannot wait to go back! I figured this is the year of me so have been gobbling up Groupons for massages and facials and bought the 2 organic facial deal. I was in heaven! Jen gave me the most relaxing facial and it came with the neck, shoulder, arm and foot massage. She took the whole hour and the room was peaceful and tastefully decorated. Of course I went on a Thursday afternoon so not sure how it is on a Saturday afternoon. They also are not pushy trying to get you to buy their products which is a big plus for me. Had a facial here a few weeks ago and it was AMAZING! I bought the deal on LivingSocial/Groupon and will admit that I was skeptical from past spa experiences and discount websites. My facial was fantastic! I've had a number of them in the past and this was definitely in the top 5. Contrary to other reviews - I thought the atmosphere and place was nice, no updating neccessary. I was in a nice big room (not like the 8 by 8 jail cells they have at other spas) with a fire place. The bed was warm and the products were good -- they smelled good too! Julie is the best! I've seen her for facials and massages, and both are better than anywhere else I've ever been. The spa is really clean, the environment is quiet and relaxing, and the products are all wonderful. Julie is thorough and takes her time with her clients. I started taking my daughter when she was twelve years old (she is fourteen now) when she started having bad breakouts of acne on her face. Julie taught her how to take care of her skin, and the education is ongoing with each treatment. By having the "teen facial" on a regular basis, her acne really cleared up and her skin looks fantastic. I thought I was going to have to take her to a dermatologist, and I was dreading the expense, but more so the medications with all the side effects. I'm so glad I decided to try this before rushing to the doctor. I feel much better having only organic products used on her, and I'm sure that the result is better than what she would have achieved with medical treatment. One of the other things I like about Julie and this spa is that unnecessary products are not pushed on you. If you ask, she will make recommendations, but if you try to buy something that you don't need, Julie is the first to tell you to put it back on the shelf! She will also give you suggestions of inexpensive natural products you can purchase from the store if she thinks you can benefit from them. I've had facials at plenty of other spas, and at times I couldn't even relax because I just felt like I was getting an hour long aggressive sales pitch for hundreds of dollars worth of products. Julie runs her business with honesty and integrity, and is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the services provided and the products she carries. Julie (the owner) is fantastic! I've been going to this spa for two years now and have never been disappointed. A good amount of my services have been performed by Julie, but also a few others and all have been great. I have been for massages, facials, and waxing. Everyone is very nice and helpful. They use great products and everyone is very professional. I actually travel 45 minutes each way to go as I enjoy it so much. I love that they use natural, safe, organic products. This is my first Yelp review, so right off the bat that should tell you something. I had an anti-aging facial here this morning (35 seems a great age to start such a routine I think...). I had Jo-Anne and she was perfect. Super welcoming and sweet. As the facial began she told me all about what she was using, but once we were in the swing of things she was quiet and let me relax. And the massages were amazing. Every facial includes massages for your feet, hands, back and shoulders. And of course the face. I'm not a newcomer to facials, and she threw in some techniques I had never had before. The products they use are super-organic and I love them. I can't wait to use them at home! (Yes, I bought products, but only because I wanted to. She was ready to send me home with free samples!) The products are what brought me here, and I couldn't be more thrilled to have this spa 13 min (according to Google Maps) from my house. I'm definitely becoming a regular!!! read more

Truth Organic Spa is the best place to go for a truly relaxing massage. My husband and I have been trying out different places in the area and we both concluded that this is it for us. I worked with Joanne and my husband worked with Julie. We both came out feeling refreshed, relaxed, centered and ready to book them again (and I did...six months out!!) All of the staff at Truth Organic Spa are helpful, kind and truly care that you have the best experience possible. They also sell some lovely jewelry and skin products. I have only been here a couple times before but my husband got me a gift certificate for a pedicure. So I made an appointment. I showed up five minutes early. There was only one person there. She never said hello I will be right there. She was working on another customer but looked like she just started. I continued to sit there for 20 more minutes being ignored like I wasn't even there. I got so fed up I walked out and never will go back. Talk about not relaxing. If you need a pedicure go somewhere else. I am not sure what there policy is making an appointment but waiting over a half am hour without even being helped is just uncalled for. read more
