My experience with the care quality that Dr. Chen and her team carried from check in, explaining what they will be doing to diagnose, plan of care, costs, payments etc was probably the most relaxing experience I've ever had. Even their voices were putting me into a trance lol I have my procedure scheduled until after I deliver my baby. He took the time to explain the process and make sure my questions were fully answered. All of the staff are incredibly kind and helpful as well, they checked up on me to make sure I received the prescription for my pain medications. I was extremely nervous coming in because it's my first ever root canal treatment but Dr. Monzavi is great and I felt comfortable during the treatment. He checks on you throughout the treatment to make sure you are OK and that the procedure is painless, then after the treatment thoroughly reviews with you what has been done and what the next steps are. I had 2 appointments so far (due to the severity of the infection) and each of them took less than an hour which is way quicker than what I expected. They scheduled me another follow-up appointment to check on the healing progress. You can tell the people here care about their patients. My treatment was complex, but my first root canal was painless after a week. They walked me through multiple assessments, and we agreed on a plan to save my second tooth before committing to another root canal. My recovery is 6 months before follow up, and my dentist confirmed the infection site is healing nicely after only one month. The pressure's practically gone now, and I'm expecting bone growth within a few months. Recovery is the patient's responsibility, but this office provides quality care and sets you up for success. It's always a good sign when someone follows up and answers your concerns! :)
