We went to Universals the day before so we washed our greasy sweaty hair the night before, and the ladies told us we should have left it! Regardless, they used the hair cam and showed us how sunburnt our scalps were and all the residue we had.... It was so relaxing. I fell asleep. I never felt more relaxed and the after.... WOW! SO CLEAN. I recommend everyone to try it at least once! They even styled my hair with the Dyson Airwrap and I was impressed how long my curls lasted. The first step involved a tech analyzing my scalp with a high tech device to identify the best form of treatment to apply. RELAXING SCALP TREATMENT I had a relaxing massage and scalp treatment and mini facial. The massage was waist up, bare back and the lady's hands were strong! I asked her to massage my lower hip area because I've been giving myself IVF shots and it was sore and swollen and she was kind enough to focus on it. The hair treatment was interesting. First you get to see your scalp hair follicles on the screen which looks super gross lol. I was hoping to get more info details on hair follicle strength or info on my hair loss but all she pointed out was the buildup. Laying down and getting your hair washed and scalp massages was AMAZING the best part of my day! Afterwards she tried to blow dry but she couldn't style my wavy hair. She set the tone with a frowning face and seemed annoyed by the questions I was asking. This was my first time at this shop so naturally I wanted to know the process. She booked it online and day of - i walked in and had no issues whatsoever. I wish I could remember the name of the girl that helped me but she was very nice. I felt really relaxed and she really helped guide me through each process. I got the special package that works with dandruff/dry hair. I believe it was about $118 (for first time clients) and so you put a downpayment of about $30 then pay the remainder day of. It was really cool to see your scalp under that microscope. It was good to know I'm fairly okay but maybe need better shampoo and a sun hat. They apply oil and put what looks like a giant shower cap on you which steams your scalp and hair. Then you go over to the bed and lay down while you get facial, scalp and shoulder massage, facial, shampoo and scalp scrub. Face and hair mask. All this with aromatherapy. It was sooo relaxing. After this part was done, we went back to the scalp exam area and compared before and after. I wasn't sure what kind of facial it was since I get them done elsewhere, but I've been told it's more like a massage of the face facial which I think I want to do next visit. I did the 60min treatment and they did a microscope of my scalp to show me my scalp health. I asked a lot of questions and found out my hair is thin because there's only 1 strand in each follicle when there's supposed to be 2-5. I had lots of baby hair and wide open follicles, along with build up. After that I got taken to the back and there they do a massage then work on your hair. I fell asleep during the massage! They showed me which products they'd be using upfront based on your scalp health. After the wash they blow dry and style whatever way you tell them to. They'll also revisit your scalp and show you how clean it is compared to when you first come in. For the price, I expected it to be relaxing and not chaotic with other clients waiting to be attended. No products were used to style my hair and as soon as I left the spa my hair was an frizzy and not because of the weather. Absolutely loved my experience here today! My friend & I were greeted as soon as we walked in and were offered tea to drink while we wait. The salon itself is very cute + clean and the waiting area was comfortable. Esther was my specialist and she was soo amazing! She started off with doing a scalp/hair analysis and showed me all of the build up/oil on my follicles. Then she showed me all of the products that would be used to treat my scalp & explained how each product helps with my scalp concerns. She also noticed how dry and damaged the ends of my hair was. I got the Pamper You service which includes a facial, neck and shoulder massage in addition to the scalp treatment. Esther was thorough and did an amazing job every step! At the end of the service, she applied a repair hair mask to help with dryness/split ends then styled my hair. The place is having 50% off until 2.15.2023 so totally worth checking out if it's something you've been eyeing for a while. The owner Teresa was very attentive and wanted to make sure everything went great and was checking in on the comfort after the treatment. The only feedback I had was due to the length of my treatment I noticed the back of my head getting a little tired due to the stiffness of the place my head was resting but it wasn't a big deal. I loved the cool machine to be able to see the scalp up close before and after treatment. My best friend and I had been swapping scalp treatment videos on Instagram and we decided it was time to give one a try. We decided on TT because of the good reviews and the description of their 90 minute scalp service. This was the definition of pampering. First they look at your scalp with a 500x camera to tell you what they see in terms of buildup, dandruff, blocked follicles, dryness, etc. then while you zen out they wash and condition your hair and scalp, massage your face, shoulders, hands and arms. Some places will replace cheap stuff in the original bottle, but I can feel and smell the product used on my hair as quality stuff. I will definitely be back. This is the second time I've been to this place , first time I was pregnant and had a great experience from start to finish. This time around , I treated myself and my sister in law for Mothers Day, the start was good, the actual scalp massage was great (I think her name was Kiko) can't remember , very nice lady. after the massage however she asked if I wanted to straighten or curl and I said straight please, she basically blow dried my hair with 2 different blow dryers and then semi straightened my hair. It basically looked semi straight super puffy and frizzy. I can tell she tried so I didn't want to complain about it. Then came the awkward part. I paid for mine and my sister in laws massage and she kept insisting on a tip. We had no more cash so she said we can use a credit card to leave a tip. I couldn't believe how persistent she was being about a tip. I used my hard earned money to pay for a service for me and my sis to have this experience and this lady kept insisting on a tip. Then I tried to tell her just split what I gave you ($15) for you both and we still gave another $4 . She already seemed upset so she told the other lady something and came back to say it's Okay Thankyou. And we basically felt like we were being kicked out in the end . Will I come back? Idk. And I'm so happy that finally in California they are offering it. TT spa is located in a plaza. They have a TT salon next-door. The spa is located on the very end of the plaza. There is plenty of parking. I was greeted by the family stuff and Christina was going to take care of me. We did a consultation where she looked into my scalp and it was disgusting. There was a lot of buildup and dryness and inflammation. She gave me tips on how to prevent from getting dry brittle hair and she went over the process for the treatment. The spots off is so clean and spotless. It's very organized as well and we started off with a bunch of scout massages and oils and then we went into the back room where they had the massage tables and scalp showers. Christina was so amazing and so gentle that I almost fell asleep, you can tell from the after photo that my scalp is so much better. I will totally recommend this place. I know of this spa because I get my hair colored from TT Salon and the owner is the same! I brought my husband and friend here for the beauty spa for a scalp massage and treatment. My friend chose to level up with a facial included but I probably would not recommend that package. To be honest if there wasn't a 30% new customer rate I wouldn't drive the hour for this. It feels worth it or a good deal for the new customer price but it seems too much for the full cost. I wish my head and neck massage was done with more pressure and had asked for it twice but I did love my blowout and how my hair looked afterwards. My girlfriend had the opposite experience. She loved her masseuse and her experience was relaxing with great massage and pressure. But her blowout was done poorly. The place was new though so everything was peaceful and clean. read more

I book the "Let's Pamper You" service which is: 75 minutes service of scalp examination, aromatherapy massage, hair treatment and facial clean, neck and shoulder release stress massage. oxygen scalp treatment. I wasn't really sure what to expect, this being my first time. Johnny was the person assigned to me and he was approximately 10 minutes late, so I had someone else start me and she was very good at explaining things when she did the scalp examination. When Johnny finally showed up he redid my scalp examination very quickly. Then walked me to the area for the washing. I was excited to see there was a full body massage chair but was quickly disappointed when I realized the chair was not working and he didn't apologize or say anything to me. It became more uncomfortable as time went on as my legs were dangling over the side. He was very quiet they entire time, I was expecting him to explain through out the process. I love that they also have an additional form that lets the stylist know about any allergies, scalp sensitivities, or hair type. I found the entire 90-minute treatment well worth it, especially at first-time customer price. I felt well taken care of, and the ladies explained every step of the treatment. We had the last appointment of the day at 5 pm, so it was just us. I loved the tingly shampoo and exfoliator they used on my head. This was my first head spa experience and it was absolutely awful. I specifically booked my service with Amy and then when I arrived for my appointment, they said I was with the stylist, Jenifer. Now I looked back at my emails and they had switched my stylist without informing me with an explanation. Now onto my experience with Jenifer...let's just say it was absolutely awful. When they did the microscopic consultation, she said "wow this is like 5 layers of buildup" and then made me fill out the paperwork when I saw my friend's stylist fill out for her and on the evaluation section, Jenifer was asking ME what type of scalp and the problems I had when that should be the area the stylist fills out based on what they see on the camera. Then I booked the "Let's pamper you" special which includes a facial. Jenifer said, "you have makeup huh? I have makeup remover wipes you can use or do you want to skip the facial?" In my mind, I booked that service because i wanted the facial so to ask me if I wanted to opt out of that was weird. Then before going to the room, she said, "there will be a box with a robe; go ahead and remove your shirt and you can keep your bra on but put on the robe" so we enter the room I don't see a robe and tell her, she goes and gets me a robe and then stays in the room. She doesn't even give me space to change so I felt awkward. Now, onto the facial and head spa. From the moment she started massaging me, she was SO ROUGH AND AGGRESSIVE. She didn't ask what type of pressure I wanted nor was she gentle with my face or head. Whenever she moved my head to one side, she was so aggressive and then she started massaging the side of my neck and putting SO MUCH PRESSURE and hitting my pressure points that it was starting to hurt me. I moved and winced and she said "do you want me to stop?" And I said "well you're just pressing too hard" and then she didn't adjust her pressure and used the gua sha tool on my neck with the same amount of pressure. Then when it came to the facial, she was still aggressive and didn't remove my makeup with the wipes beforehand and was just scrubbing my face so incredibly rough and whatever product she put on my face made my face feel burned and when I got home, my face was so red and inflamed. When she finally washed my hair, she didn't ask if the water temperature was good and it was scorching hot. My friend was getting her service on the bed to my right and I would her stylist asking if the water was good, what type of pressure she wanted and my experience was the complete opposite that I couldn't feel relaxed at all. When I moved over back to the chair to get the blowout, I saw my friend getting her hair blown out and having beautiful curls. When I sat down waiting for my blowout, Jenifer asks me if i wanted my hair curly (I have natural wavy/curly hair) and I said yes and asked if she had any curl styling products. She said she had curl cream so I thought she knew what to do...I see her put the cream in my hair and she's scrunching my hair while blow drying, my hair looked frizzy and was all over the place. She stopped and said, "do you want to touch it to see if you want it to be more dry?" I felt my hair was still damp so I said "yes I want it more dry" and she continues to blow dry my hair for maybe another 10 mins and stop. The finish product of my hair was COMICAL. It looked like I had bed head and I was thinking, "she's not going to let me walk out of the salon looking like this" but I was wrong. I have never seen my hair look THAT bad ever in my life, I wish I took a photo of the end product because it was absolutely awful. She told me she put LEAVE IN CONDITIONER and curl cream on my damp hair and you can tell that my hair was full of product that was not dispersed and my hair just looked SO GREASY. There was so many other details that made this experience awful but I didn't include it because this review is already so long. In conclusion, this was the worst beauty/spa experience I have ever experienced and if I could give this 0 stars, I would. The stylist my friend had--I believe was Selina seemed great but I DO NOT recommend Jenifer. read more

I wanted to like this place, but I was charged unfairly they charged me my $20 deposit. + $240 because they couldn't figure out the payment system. So, I got stiffed because I was ready to cry and just wanted to leave. Happy Birthday to me. My total was supposed to be 158 because I'd already paid the $20 ($178) + I agreed to a 15% tip despite not being happy with the service it should've been + 26.70. which would =204 of course they upsell you I bought a $48 mist which they added to the total and add the tip on top which is greedy. I paid 240 + my deposit. Total $260 I won't be back. ------ About the actual headspa I spotted only 1 cosmo license on the wall the rest were estheticians this is important because cosmos are trained on how to actually wash hair which is important or else you could end up with someone who things washing means SCRATCHING your head with their NAILS for the entirety of your hair washing service which is NOT good at all. It may feel good at the beginning but you won't be happy days later. That has happened to me at other places. This service started out like this and the service provider [L] did listen when I said it was too much but I did have to speak up 2-3 times and I tried to explain gently that scratching is too so my head is a little sore and it showed on the camera at the end but she quickly moved from those spots. This place is beautiful, but its not the most restful during my service some service provider sent her friend or client ahead the person attending me was the only employee there so she had to leave me and go greet this woman find out what she needed then later help her call the service provider she was looking for. Then of course when the person she's waiting for arrives you hear that exchange and they leave. Also upselling is annoying I understand its a busines if what you're using is so life changing I'll ask about it or find it online. I've been to 3 different Head Spa's they all use Milbon I love the smell but I don't need it. read more
