I felt a poke when one of the ladies was doing my nail, I thought nothing of it. One week later I had a pain and I thought it was an ingrown, I looked closely and puss was coming out. I'm so upset, had to go to the urgent care to get antibiotics. My nail is in constant pain. Please have your ladies be more aware, and kinder!!!!! I always feel like they're irritated so it's hard to tell them anything!!! I'm so traumatized getting my nails done now. Mind you, I'm a SAHM there is no way I got this from anything else!! The service itself was definitely on the pricier side considering what was received, and honestly the quality of work was pretty mediocre. The callus removal was half done (I could only see this after I got up), and everything just felt rushed with little attention to detail (cuticles not cleaned, nails not clipped short enough, etc.). The foot massage at the end was lovely, definitely the highlight of the whole experience. While it wasn't the worst service I've had, I wouldn't go out of my way to come back because of how much it costs vs the level of service I received.

I was worried they would judge my hands because I've been picking at them lately. But, Mia asked me throughout the service if I liked everything. Although I prefer a more square-ish shape, I decided I'd go with how more rounded she filed the nails. At first, I thought cutting it down would help flatten out the shape more, but it just made it worse. So, for one of the nails, she re-did it. The free drink menu has 3 mocktails, Vietnamese coffee, and tea. I got the blue ocean one, and it was sweet. I didn't really get the opportunity to drink it though, but it wasn't like to die for or anything. Charms are $5 extra, and I thought maybe she would charge $10 since I got 1 on each ring finger, but it was only $5 to the total. At the end, I paid $60 for the Gel-X and $40 for the gel pedicure. I hope they stay on for a while because I need my natural nails to desperately grow out. The chairs are definitely newer since they opened about a year ago, but the curing machines were a little icky. My finger felt sticky towards the end, so I started hovering my hands in the final curing steps. However, my feet feel so clean and new! So, I think the regular pedicure is 100% worth the price. The ladies are all very kind, and I like how peaceful it is inside. Nail salons are always so calm and relaxing, so it is definitely a luxury. This was my second time here, and my first time getting a regular manicure/pedicure done. I was asked if I'd like to get my calluses removed for $10, so I went ahead with it. Also, two of my fingernails were glued, since they were breaking and I told them I was worried they would snap off soon, and I wasn't charged extra for them. Both ladies massaged my hands and feet, and that was so special and made it all worth it. The price is reasonable, and they are considerate enough to ask if you'd like to pay beforehand, so you don't have to worry about smudging your nails after they are done. Unfortunately, I work with acetone in a lab, so my fingernails didn't last more than 2 days, but I still loved the shape of them and how it turned out. Even my toenails started rubbing off a lot within the first week. I just wish I took more pictures of it.
