Most instructors are assistants at their previous jobs and not qualified to be…read moreinstructors/teachers. They teach by following the program/the dates that were plugged into the computer system and give assignments according to schedule. When a student asks for further instruction or explanation, most are clueless, because the material is above their heads. Thus, you pay them and teach yourself. There are a few who are dedicated and knowledgeable but these are far and few in between. Some are just looking for an extra paycheck and have a buddy system who will punch their time clock when not in attendance, either by arriving late or leaving early. This is commonly known as stealing time and a fire able offense. It would be easy for administration to discipline if this was an uncommon problem, but here it seems to be like a disease, and they would lose too many staff. This poor quality training seems to be the norm these days. There may be a difference between day and night instructors. More eyes are watching during the day classes, whereas the night classes are lacking professionalism. I'm hopeful that things will change before it is too late for me. Goodluck.

They have a huge cafeteria with a chick-FIL-a, a suchi place and other restaurants in it . They also have little robots that drive around autonomously and deliver food all over the campus. Didn't go in any other buildings so I can really say much about anything other then what I saw but, it seemed like it was a nice campus from my experience.

We've been a few times and the space is always clean and quiet. There are a few trashcans around, so I recommend bringing an extra bag to tie up trash in since trash cans are few. There's a small lot designated for the park and free on-street parking. The tot lot has a playground and swings. Nothing fancy, but serves its purpose. I haven't seen this area overly crowded. Good option to not fight crowds and a range of age groups. There are no restrooms.

I went to my second music concert in the DMV area at The Recher after meeting Chrystal of Anoxia at The Baltimore Soundstage and getting information about her My Phase Days concert in The Recher in May 2024. It was an amazing concert with many music artists paying homage to bands like Evanescence and Bring Me The Horizon. We saw a lot of local music artists in the Baltimore, Maryland area and started going to see their concerts in the DMV area. January 2025. We visited The Recher to see local music artists we were not familiar with except for one who played in the May 2024 My Phase Days concert. It was also a birthday concert for the Rapolla Entertainment's owner Nic. It was the music entertainment business that promoted both concerts we attended in The Recher. Parking is easy to find at The Recher and is free in the parking garages on the weekend. The Recher is a brief walk away from the parking garage nearby. The concert venue is mid size and very clean for a concert venue. Drink prices are fair. Sound quality is excellent. The music artists we met there are professional, passionate about their music, and amicable. The crowds there have always been easy to navigate and friendly. While scouring for a team building event for work, we decided to reach out to this company. Their website is forthcoming with a ton of information, but they were helpful on the backend of things. Purchasing tickets was easy, and it's great that tickets were available until the day of the event. I have never been to one of these things before but was kind of exciting. I have heard that it can be cheesy or campy, but I'm up for the camp. Who doesn't love dinner and a show? We had a large group, around 40 people or so and with prior warning they were able to make it work where our whole group sat in a designated area. That also kind of played into the whole way this played out. Before you come here they will send you an email with information on how to proceed. You will get confirmation numbers after you select your meal. Chicken, fish, or vegetarian are your choices. They also tell you that the actors will be intermingled throughout the crowd. Having four tables taken up by your group cuts down on who the actors are and helps you out in the end. The show is entertaining. I laughed a few times to the point where I had heads turn my way. The actors were spot on for their script and at the end of each act, which you should pay attention to, you are given a QR code to go through the clues. As the show is going on you are treated to a meal. But it is not obviously the best selection of food. As this is being hosted at a hotel, you are eating hotel food that you might find if you attended a banquet at said hotel. It fits the bill for dinner and a movie, but otherwise, nothing to write home about. Back to the show portion. I forgot to mention that you have a mingling session at the start. You are encouraged to go around the room and network to see if you can get any information on who you might think are the actors before you really know they are an actor. At the end, you get to write down your answers to see if you are right. You most likely will be right, but a majority of the room will probably be right as well. The thing I didn't like about it was that even though you might have the right answer, you most likely will not get picked as the winner at the end of the night. You will most definitely see that the winner will have been sitting at the table with the 'whodunnit' all along. It isn't that bad of a night. It is a great time to be had. You are paying for dinner and a show and that they deliver on. The actors are hilarious, and when they need to attend to business they attend to business. We had one person who needed a vegan option and they pulled through for us at the last minute. I really appreciated that.

The campus housing is great for freshmen but that is just to get people in the school. The Fall…read more2025 housing has been disastrous. Upper class Students received a late night email on a Saturday that they had to move out then next day due to a problem. The students in apartments with kitchens and private bathrooms were being moved into deplorable conditions of a building that was closed last year for mold. The community co-ed bathroom has rat traps set everywhere and the shower stalls have rust on the soap dishes. The rooms smell terrible of mold and are very tiny.

We saw El Otro Oz: A Bilingual Musical at the Mildred Dunnock Theatre. It was thoroughly enjoyable and the actors were truly amazing and professional. The students that went were part of our newcomer program which means they have been in the country just over a year. While many speak Spanish and laughed at much of the dialogue, the students from other countries enjoyed this musical variation of the Wizard of Oz. I know I did! It was spring break for Goucher students, so the campus was quite deserted. The production company that put on the show travels to various locations in Maryland. It took us almost an hour to arrive, but well worth the drive (we had charter buses, so comfort was key). I hope we get to see another show next year.

It may have been the movie we saw. Side note, Fall Guy with Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosselin, zero stars. The theater seats were even swanky. Very comfortable. Wide with the recliner. The ticket prices are on the higher end but the seats are well worth the price. If you reserve your tickets, you receive a free medium popcorn. Which almost negates the higher price. Popcorn was fresh and yummy. My bottle of Dasani water was $4.20. About the same price you'd pay at a Stadium event. Employees were very friendly. Overall, good night out at the movies.

And the seats, elevated over the field, create a different more complete perspective of the running game. With the hot dogs being half as good as they had been last year, I think it's appropriate of me to cut the star level from four to two.
