Small shop but some of the tastiest pizza in K-Town. We love the BBQ chicken, chicken bacon ranch, and the Nashville Hot Chicken. Looking forward to trying the Chori-Queso next! We've never been disappointed with the taste, quality, price, or speed to get out pizza and recommend it to everyone we know who lives nearby!

Online ordering process was smooth and quick. Received the email confirmation promptly. Very clean lobby and work stations when I arrived. Staff was kind during the interaction I had. Here's why I'm giving it 2 stars: Online order functionality - When I arrived and stated I was picking up an order that I had placed online, the staff member stated the order was never received. I had to place my order again and wait. Ingredients shortage/inventory issue - I ordered a supreme and a Margherita. I repeated this twice to the staff member, he confirmed the order along with the sizes for each. After about 10 minutes, he calls over to me and says he forgot to tell me that he's out of basil for the Margherita, but can substitute for another topping. This is layered: 1. If there is no basil, I should not be able to order items that call for basil online. (This ties back to the website functionality and could've been avoided or at least recovered by the staff) 2. If a customer repeats the order twice and it is confirmed, that is ample opportunity to notify the customer that you are out of an ingredient. 10 minutes after the interaction definitely impacts the guest experience. In summary, I placed an online order that was never received, then received something that I didn't order when I go in person. Sad to say that this will be the first and last time at this spot. So many others to try in the area in the same price range.

Hot level pizza, some were plain

You all should really be ashamed for selling this sh*t. This is the laziest hot chicken pizza ever, and you are not the first in the United States to sell this product. I am so disappointed, I took a bite of the first slice and threw the rest out. The frozen/refried chicken that you dipped in hot chicken sauce was horrible. Not all of the whole chicken slices were correct, some where plain. All they did was heat up frozen chicken, dip them in sauce, cut them in half and put them on top of a pizza with a drizzle of sauce. Imagine whole chicken tenders slapped on top of a cheese pizza. Sauce is not hot, mediocre at best. They should not be selling this. Don't waste your time. PS: on Uber eats they are listed as "Nashville Fried Chicken Pizza"

This was probably the worst pizza I've ever had :/. They also go by a false name of "OMG Pizza" on Postmates which feels extra sus. I had to recut the whole thing twice cause the pizza is so tough that the pieces wouldn't separate. There was no sauce and the bread was chewy and floppy. The cheese was sour and fake. It reminded me of a rubbery Chuck E. Cheese pizza. Pizza Cafe LA is the best pizza in LA and this is on the opposite end of the scale. This place makes sad looking pizzas that taste sadder.

Local and convenient. While hanging around my friends place in K-town we have a craving for pizza. Its easy to call a more known spot like pizza hut, dominos, etc. but what about the other guys? My friend spotted Tu PanYou on his walk home and we decided to check it out. This place is an amazing locals pizzeria. They have an interesting selection of pre-topped pizzas, wings, calzones, fries and bread sticks. Service was quick and the food was great. We did a carry out and within 20 mins we were eating. Parking: street parking (a bit tricky) VERDICT: Rinse and repeat

*DONT BUY ANYTHING HERE* Best place to buy food if you want terrible service/attitude while ordering as well as terrible pizza. Guy that helped us had terrible sass to him when asked questions about sauces and when told he got our order wrong. My son wanted Hawaiian but sub ham for pepperoni guy said ok as in he can do that. When I told him btw our pizza order is wrong my son wanted pepperoni instead of ham he said (insert sass) " no your son ordered Hawaiian pizza" | then reminded him of my sons exact order and his response to the order. He replied with "oh. sorry" in the most unbothered and annoyed tone the turned to walk away. No let me fix it or genuine apology. Dough was chewy, our order of fries had been sitting there had to go ask for it. Guy got annoyed at my kid's grandmother's request of a room temp drink. Overall terrible experience terrible food not worth what I paid. I'll continue to give my business to crappy dominos be at least they fix their mistakes and seem genuine when they apologize.

    Rough dough

My dough was raw i definitely want a refund my 1st and last time going. I can't believe I paid 22 plus for raw dough

    Receipt

Came in to order in store because online wasn't working. My total for the pizza online with wings came out to $35 after taxes. Once I ordered in store the total came out to $49 for one pizza and wings. Extra toppings online were 1.50, in store they were $4. I think it's a scam for customers, they should really fix there prices in store to match online. Never have I paid so much for 1 pizza. Will never come back again.

    Raw dough

I literally just got my pizza and got home only to taste raw dough in my mouth...no wonder the color of the pizza was so not well done, I always get pizza from this place but now I don't think I'd wanna go back just to get a underdone pizza, half was done and the other half just...gross, I knew that weird aftertaste to the pizza was a bad sign now I'll have to use my air fryer for help. Don't make me pay 20 dollars just to eat raw dough man even dominos does a better job at it than this

I seriously barely ever eat Pizza but, I was starving and on a walk with my dog hoping to grab something quick & tasty. It was like a 10 minute wait but, so worth it. The pizza was so tasty and so fresh. It was worth the wait. The ranch was so creamy & delicious. I'm obsessed with ranch & hate that fake hidden valley BS but the ranch here is homemade & so delicious The service was great the girl at the front was so friendly to me & helpful I wouldn't mind being a regular here just because the service was good. I'm back to try the margarita pizza and the buffalo wings she was bragging about. Genuinely excited as I'm waiting for my food. Yum yum 4 thumbs up!!

Says 10 pcs but only received 5. $5.99 for 5 small zucchini sticks! Shame on them.

1 star for the decent and reasonably priced pizza. My order was over 15 minutes late due to some online issues. This is the 2nd time they rip me off. I ordered the 10 pcs fried zucchini via Postmates and only received 5 pcs for $5.99. These people are nickel and dime-ing folks. Check your orders before leaving.

Maccheroni Republic - Life is full of pasta-bilities!…read more So if you know anything about me, you know that I love pasta more than just about anything. While I can only officially claim about 12% Italian heritage, I'm 100% down for Italian food, especially homemade pasta, any day of the week. I'm spending this week in Little Tokyo for a conference, and while Japanese food is also absolutely my jam, when Maccheroni Republic slid into my Yelp feed, I knew that I had to hoof it over there immediately after we broke for the day. I saw the front of the building, and my heart sank because it looked closed, but then I noted the sign that indicated that the entrance is on the right side of the building through the courtyard. Thank goodness! I strutted through the courtyard, and observed about 15 people waiting for tables. Unbothered, I went up to the host stand and chatted with the stylish maitre'd - Dino - who indicated that he could have a table for me in 7-10 minutes. I proceeded to wait and I watched how he deftly sat the other waiting parties in order without difficulty or notes. To the untrained eye, it might have looked a little chaotic, but Dino absolutely knew what he was doing. About 15 minutes later, Dino sat me at a corner deuce in the inside dining room where I had a nice view of everything. Angel efficiently took my order and did a very good job of overseeing my table as well as about nine others. The dining room is so cute and homey, and the patio is a welcome respite from the bustle and business of downtown. Since I was "da sola" or on my own, I just tried the shrimp cakes and I ordered the Rigatoni all Norma which is one of of my go to pasta dishes since I don't eat much meat. Incidentally, this dish is named after Norma, the famous 19th-century opera composed by Catanese native Vincenzo Bellini. According to legend, a famous Sicilian playwright, Nino Martoglio, tried the pasta and was so overwhelmed by its perfection that he exclaimed, "Chista è 'na vera Norma!" ("This is a true Norma!"), comparing the culinary masterpiece to the musical one. So says Wikipedia anyway. The shrimp cakes were delivered quickly by a sweet food runner who kindly checked on me periodically during my dinner. The four shrimp cakes were accompanied by sauteed onions which paired really nicely with the crispy cakes that were brightened with a spritz from the fresh lemon wedge. She also brought a basket with four slices of Italian bread which I enjoyed with the EVOO and Balsamic that were on the table. My Watermelon Ciao was also so good. It was sweetly tart and such a nice treat on a Monday! Not long after I polished off the shrimp cakes, the rigatoni was delivered and dusted with a generous layer of parmigiana. The little fresh mozzarella pearls glistened on the top of the pasta and slowly melted and oozed into the sauce as I stirred it up. Yum! The rigatoni were al dente and delicious, and they were perfectly sauced. Of course, the eggplant was perfectly cooked as well, I only wish there had been a few more pieces of it - although by the time I ate the last noodle, I was so full! Alas, I had no room for dessert, but I intend to bring some of my conference colleagues back for a meal before the end of the week because it was THAT GOOD. I also loved that this place is NOT pretentious at all. There were all sorts of folks enjoying their food here from medical professionals in scrubs to college kids in shorts and t-shirts, and I was also very casually attired, but I was treated well and welcomed with graciousness and delicious food! Mille grazie Maccheroni Republic, Dino, Angel and everyone at this wonderfully lowkey yet fabulous trattoria.

The menu is inviting with plenty of great options without being overwhelming. Less is more. But let's talk art (culinary, that is). The dishes certainly deserve main features. To start "the best Caesar salad in LA" and I quote which was certainly true. Grilled octopus charred on the inside and juicy at the center. Spicy pomodoro is perfectly al dente and a well-balanced sauce. But, my favorite-- the agnolotti! Wow, melt in your mouth! The flavor profiles of corn, crème fraiche, and old bay were delicious. My only wish -- larger serving of this (smallest pasta serving on the menu). To complete it, banana pudding tiramisu -- delicious too with a firm center and oozy outside. Atala was wonderful and very sweet. Recommendation: come with a group of at least 4 to try more on the menu -- the large plates (branzino and ribeye) looked excellent! Definitely a worthwhile visit.

The little pockets of agnolotti is stuffed with corn and swims in a savory broth anchored by crème fraiche. It's giving summer and I'm absolutely here for it. Tip: Make your reservation 2 - 3 months in advance to get great seating because they get booked up very quickly. Food and Drinks: One of my close male friends and I came here to celebrate both of our birthdays. Bestia is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants here in SoCal. For drinks, my friend and I got the Poderi San Lazzaro. This is a dry red wine from the Marche region of Italy. It is known for its intense ruby color, red berry aromas, and a palate with juicy acidity, soft tannins, and a distinct saline minerality. It's a good pairing for roasted meats and grilled steak. And as for food, my friend and I ordered the roasted bone marrow, oxtail alla vaccinara, 26 oz Margaret river wagyu ribeye, and fromage blanc mousse. To note, all pastas were cooked perfectly al dente. The roasted bone marrow is a signature appetizer served over a bed of spinach gnocchetti. We got to scoop the rich marrow from the bone directly onto the pasta and mix it in table-side. The marrow coats the gnocchetti to create an emulsified, glossy sauce balanced by toasted breadcrumbs and aged balsamic. This was a life changing and mind blowing dish. The oxtail alla vaccinara is a renowned, elevated take on the classic Roman braised oxtail stew. This decadent pasta dish features tender braised meat, wide pappardelle, rich brown butter, pine nuts, and a touch of cocoa powder. The richness of the meat and brown butter is cut through with creamy dollops of burrata cheese and crunchy pine nuts. So yummy! The 26 oz Margaret river wagyu ribeye is a dish that features a massive 26 oz cut of Australian Wagyu, served with burnt onion, fermented mushroom cream, radish, and poppy seeds. This had a melt-in-your-mouth kind of texture, and savory earthiness from the mushroom and onion accompaniments. The ribeye was unmistakably rich and buttery flavor. Get this and you won't regret it. The fromage blanc mousse is a seasonal dessert. This is an incredibly airy, semi-sweet dessert that lands halfway between a light cheesecake and a ricotta. It is served with a pecan graham crust, and candied quince. It's like a fancy smancy cheesecake. Staff: Radu was very helpful, kind, friendly, and attentive to my friend and I. Love this place and will be coming back very soon. They accept credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.
