I love this place. It is a classic Mexican restaurant that doesn't do anything foo foo but sticks to the traditional food/drink. The prices are great too. The service is really nice and the ambiance is fun and laid back

It's been a few years since we have been here. We went on a Saturday night and the place was slammed. There was only a few parking spots available. We didn't have a reservation, but we were able to get seated right away. The waiters were extremely attentive they kept checking in on us. My only complaint was that everything just moved too quick. I barely got halfway through my drink before the food arrived. To start they give you chips and salsa and the chips were crunchy and salty and the salsa was made with fresh ingredients which I loved. They give you a cheese quesadilla on the house which is a nice little appetizer. I had a combination platter with the refried beans and rice. Then they give you a complementary dessert. Everything we had was really good. I had a spicy margarita which didn't have the artificial spice which I hate. When we were leaving, we wanted to have a drink at the bar, but it was completely slammed. There were no seats available. This is a good Mexican local spot that is authentic and reasonable.

A hidden gem which is off the beaten path in Rockland. Food and service are top notch. My go to when dining for Mexican in Rockland.

The dishes that this team puts together in that kitchen are absolutely magical and filled with flavor. I discovered them a few years ago when I had a craving for fresh homemade pasta. The pasta is made fresh daily and also sold by the pound for take home meals. I don't get the pleasure of dining in often because it's always packed when I visit but this time there was a lonely table waiting for me. The restaurant is small and intimate. Casual but perfect for a date night or solo dining. In the summertime they have picnic tables outside to dine at as well. The focaccia bread is made in house daily and is served warm with a drizzle of good olive oil and flakey salt. Don't ever skip out on the bread!! The cucumber salad was inspiring. The cucumbers were served on a bed of hazelnut fava bean hummus??? Excuse me? My mouth is still watering from looking at the photos. It was so fresh and tangy. The pasta dish was warm, filling and cozy. It settled in all the right places and makes you feel warm and fuzzy. The chocolate chip cookies are also a must!! I'm not sure if they use cake flour or something because the cookies are crunchy on the edges but think and chewy once warmed up. They are not skimping on the chocolate inside either! Overall my meal was perfect, I cannot wait to dine here again to taste the love and magic that goes into each dish. PS- the menu is mostly seasonal so try what you can before the menu changes!

I love this pasta shop so much and can't wait to be back in Nyack to enjoy another one of their incredible pasta dishes. We began with the seafood salad...a delicious mix of tender squid, scungilli, octopus, and shrimp over lightly dressed arugula. It was a beautiful portion and paired perfectly with their warm focaccia and garlic infused olive oil. Then came the complimentary salads before the best grilled lamb chops entrée I've had in years. Outstanding. A full rack of tender, flavorful, juicy baby rib chops served with broccoli rabe and roasted potatoes. OMG. While devouring this meal, I was a bit without words. Did I mention it was a full rack?! We also enjoyed a bottle of their house Cabernet with dinner. Very smooth and a solid table wine for the price. It paired beautifully with the lamb, and the other entree we got...homemade fresh pasta with short rib ragu. Wow... that really was the best entrée I've had anywhere in a long time, and it puts Bosfa in my top three restaurants. P.S. Sign up for their rewards program!

I picked a beautiful spot, and almost immediately Kenny brought me sparkling water, complimentary eggplant caponata, and bread that tasted like it had been baked by someone in heaven! I started with the Millefoglie Di Melanzane "Alla Mamma Carolina"--thinly layered eggplant, San Marzano D.O.P. tomato sauce, and 18-month Parmigiano Reggiano. I make eggplant Parmesan at home, but this was on an entirely different level. Absolutely out of this world. As a special favor, they also prepared a half portion of Buccatini Carbonara for me: Roman-style bucatini with guanciale, egg, Pecorino Romano, and black pepper. My only complaint? I didn't get the full portion! It was outstanding. For my main course, I ordered the Costatella Di Cervo, a marinated venison chop with red wine, juniper berries, and herbs, chargrilled and served over soft Ribiola cheese polenta with port wine and fresh figs. I normally wouldn't order venison, but I am so glad I took the chance. It was spectacular--tender, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Dessert was the Italian ricotta cheesecake, and I had a decaf cappuccino with foam that was like whipped cream The restaurant itself is charming and beautifully decorated, the service is truly exquisite, and the food is beyond belief. Kenny, Kimberly, and the entire team made my birthday dinner an experience I won't forget. I am so happy I found this gem in Sparkill! I can't wait to come back.
