Cheers from Willamette Valley Vineyards - Tualatin Estate! This was back in March 2025.
Emelia G.

This is a looong overdue review! I have loved my visits at Willamette Valley Vineyard's Tualatin Estate. The staff always take such good care of my girlfriends and I! Would love to shout out Annie and Madelynn for taking amazing care of us at our first visit in November 2024, and to Lori for being so bubbly and fun to my friends and I while we enjoyed your delicious wine. I can't wait to come back again and enjoy the stunning views and warm company of Willamette Valley. Cheers!

Very awesome environment, the sun was out which made it a gorgeous day and the service was amazing. Anthony was awesome in getting us set up and Madelynn was great at talking about the wines and even took us on a short tour of the grounds!

This vineyard is incredible. I loved all four wines on the Harvest tasting menu. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. The views are fantastic. And the best part is they have adorable kittens!

We decided today to go to the Tustin Estate for a wine tasting. To say that it was a fabulous experience with excellent wine selections would be an understatement. Megan was amazing in her descriptions of the wines and the history behind them. She was so delightful and a real joy. The setting under the shade of the trees looking across the valley was gorgeous. We highly recommend this winery. And ask for Megan. ;-)

We visited the Tualatin Estate on 6/21 during a recent trip to the PNW. Amazing to see the incredible vineyard planted by Bill Fuller and walk where the fabulous Hannah is derived. We were treated to music in the vineyard, seasonal flights, and a wonderful bottle of Vintage 48. Thank you to Efron, Annie, Rachel, Emma--and Lauren for such great customer service and hospitality! #Hannah #Fuller #Vintage48

Talk about BEAUTIFUL! The tasting room staff is incredible. We loved Rachael--she helped us book but also served us while we were there. We were used to the top notch customer service of the main Willammette Valley tasting room, so it was wonderful to see that the customer service and care is emphasized at all of their locations. If you are a looking for a spot to slow down, enjoy the company of those around you, make some new friends, and get connected to the Willammette Valley wine... this is your place to go!

We visited the vineyards for the first time last weekend. We had received a housewarming gift that included a bottle of their wine a few months ago, which we very much enjoyed, so we decided to take my parents for a tasting while they were here visiting. We reserved an outdoor table and tasting online. The setting of the vineyard is lovely. There are very few tables inside the tasting room, but quite a few set a great distance apart outside. We found a great table near the vines, under the large trees in the shade. Two of us opted for the white and red flights, and one chose all reds. Everyone greatly enjoyed all of the wines included. The tasting service provided was very informative and friendly. She readily answered all of our questions and went out of her way to assist. We ended up purchasing 8 bottles between us, and will definitely plan to return. Recommend

This was our first time at Tualatin Vineyards. Our first experience with Willamette Valley Vineyards was in Portland Airport with "Mama Bear", Shelley Benfield. What a welcome sight to see after a 10 hour flight! Shelley was very personable and obviously in love with what she does and the wines she represents. She recommended we go to Tualatin Vineyard to see Lori Morris Cagle. We went to celebrate a birthday with my boyfriend and his mother. It could not have been a better experience. Lori is extremely knowledgeable, incredibly accommodating, and a genuinely nice person. Lori definitely went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect wine tasting experience, to match each of our preferences. We had the flights with white and red wine.. the last one was our fave and we bought several bottles! Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Have nothing but positive things to say about Willamette Valley Vineyards, their wines, and most importantly, their employees, Lori and Shelley! We look forward to returning and to enjoying our wines! Cheers!!

EXCEPTIONAL experience. Lori was phenomenal. The experience was so educational and informative. It was a cozy environment, clean, beautiful landscape, great storytelling, and along with the wine tasting we were served water and able to purchase snacks (charcuterie board) along with souvenirs (like a magnet and hat). The experience and ambience were so great that I had to ask Lori about their club and membership, we signed up without hesitation.

Tualatin Estate is one of my favorite wineries in Oregon.

It was a great tasting today. Emily O. was our wine server and she did an outstanding job. She was very friendly, flexible, and knowledgeable. We tasted 6 varietals and walked away with 6 bottles of wine when we were only planning on buying 2. We always have a great time at Tualatin Estate Winery!

This is one vineyard that's a short drive, and not very difficult to get to for being located in Cornelius. No long and windy roads is what I'm implying. An easy vineyard you can show out-of-town guest what Oregon wines are all about. I feel this would be a quick treat for them. Even after work, just to relax with a glass and charcuterie board, we've been here! ~ The Views (or a view) ~ If you've seen the yelp pics on the views, then that's exactly all you'll get. You can chill inside for a tasting or out on the patio while enjoying an excellent view of the vineyard. On a clear sunny day, you can see Mt Hood in the background. Down below the patio, at vineyard-level, there are a few wooden beach chairs and picnic tables as well. It's relaxing wherever you choose really, to say the least. ~ Reds, Whites, and You ~ If you're looking for a white chard that's not too sweet, then this is your place! Their wines are simple enough to enjoy. I don't recall having a bad pour. But like practically every vineyard in Oregon, they too serve pinot noirs. I personally have more of an earthy pallet, so I do not have a taste for pinot gris or rieslings, but theirs I did admire. You'll have to try them for yourself. Again, I believe all their variations can satisfy anyone's pallet. ~ Owners, Staff, and Service ~ At one of the member events, we did get the opportunity to meet the owners, and their pup. All of them really down-to-earth people in my opinion. But I would like to give credit to Mach and Melissa as well. These two hustle! Not for you to just purchase their wines and join the club, but they're attentive on what you'd be interested in. Thank your Mach and Melissa for your generous and friendly hospitality. We've had questions, they've had answers. This little winery just gives you everything you'd expect from a winery. Case and point!

My usual M.O. with sake is a small, hot carafe when I have sushi. But my experience here has made me rethink this incredible beverage. I opted for the Daiginjo flight, which I highly recommend. Daiginjo is the best form of sake, with the process polishing down the rice grain to 50% or less of its original volume. The ones I had ranged from 40% to 50%. I'm not sure exactly what this does, but I can sure tell you, it makes a massive difference in the smoothness and taste. The first 3 sakes in the sampler are from Japan; the last is their exclusive sake made right in Forest Grove. Here's my take on the sakes I had: The Murai Family was aromatic and slightly floral. The Hakutsuru: smooth, slight fruitiness, subtle, with an interesting aftertaste on the back sides of my tongue. The Yoshi No Gawa was smoother with a slight tang at the back of my tongue. And last but not least, the in-house Nagata had a nice balance of bold, silky, and fruity/floral. I even admired its "legs" as I did a swirl to see viscosity. After the flight, I decided on a cocktail, the Blackberry Lime Martini. Tart, sweet, deliciousness. When I left, I bought a bottle of Sho-Une, which didn't break the bank, but is supposed to be great for the price point. I'm saving it for a special occasion. I'm looking forward to visiting this fine establishment again.
