This is a great sandwich spot you can walk to if you are near downtown Bothell. I pass it often since I live down the street and it always seems busy. I ordered online and walked over to pick up. It was definitely busy at about 1 pm on a Tuesday. They have an easy pick up system for online orders and the workers were friendly. We got 2 "small" sandwiches to try - they were bigger than expected for being a small. We got the spicy tuna and the philly beef dip. They were both good, love that the beef came with au jus. Wish I knew about this place earlier! Holy moly, do they make a good sub! Dang!!! I am all about their Italian. Best Italian sandwich I have ever eaten. Hands down. I just realized after several taste tests that their potato salad comes from Costco. It is good and doesn't bother me at all.

Lady at the front desk was very helpful in helping me decide what to get. However the store doesn't have any accesibility to napkins or utensils, or seasoning. They don't ask if you're eating in or out so every meal comes in a paper bag which seems wasteful. When they handed me my salad (in a giant bag) they hadn't included either napkins or forks, so I had to ask for them. It's a hidden gem. I never noticed this place until very recently stumbled upon while searching for sandwich place in Bothell downtown. So many great reviews encouraged me to try out this place. It's an organized and well maintained shop. There are a handful of tables for dine-in, but most of the customers were taking out their orders. They have Chicken, beef, ham, turkey, tuna, vegetarian sandwiches, salads and sides on the offerings -both hot and cold.They have small & large subs available. Must say small is more than enough for a quick bite! I ordered Black bean Avocado Burger and the buffalo style chicken. They asked me to wait for around 10 mins for the order to be ready. Staffs were super cool and friendly. And my food was ready in around 10 mins. Loved both the subs. Black bean Avocado Burger was dope! Loved that one. to be honest, my expectations were different - but totally happy with the one I had that day. Flavors stood out! The buffalo style chicken was more or less same as I expected. Loved that one too! Good to have such a great place around. Their menu looks promising. Best part is they have a good number of vegetarian options on their menu. Jersey Mikes is my go to but decided to try Tubs today for their Italian Combo. Maybe I need to try a different sandwich but it was just ok. The sandwich was drowning in mayo. One thin slice of tomato. If there was onion or vinaigrette I couldn't tell. I may stop in for some of the other unique options but for a classic Italian sub I'll be at Jersey Mikes. One of my favorite places to grab subs in the area. They are great because they have a huge variety and have a lot of creative and unique subs that you won't be able to find at a typical place. I got the funky bird and my husband got the voodoo chicken - both were good but we loved the funky bird more. If you like dill, the funky bird is a great option! I've had their godfather in the past and that is also a solid choice and crowd pleaser. In terms of location, there is a small area outside with a few tables. The bread used to make our sandwiches was fresh as well. There's some room to eat at this location, but it's pretty basic and was a bit warm inside on the day I visited. I went to the office today, UWB/Cascadia and realized I didn't bring a lunch. I had 2 options. Walk over to Potbelly or give Tubs another try. I ordered the Tokyo Club which features roast beef, bacon, veggies and the star of the sandwich...the wasabi mayo. Lemme tell ya...this sandwich was bussin fr fr. My major gripe initially was the toughness of the bread. Today, i had it for lunch (approx 12p) and for the initial review, the sandwich was consumed much later into the evening. I do believe that the bread by the end of the day might get tougher and chewier as it may not have preservatives. First time visiting a Tubs. Interesting interior with a nice view of the kitchen area. We went between lunch/dinner so we didn't have to wait to order and our food came up pretty fast. Staff were nice enough. We had the California and the Grinder. The toasted bread was great--nice crunch. The California was very good, and the grinder had great flavors but a bit too much mayo. We also had a side of their potato salad which was good. Portions were large, seems very fair for the price. The location isn't far from everything else in downtown Bothell so it's definitely worth the quick walk, or stopping off at on the way out of town. I ordered a large California sub from these guys today via the DoorDash app. It came delivered outside my door in a very sturdy paper bag. The customization options are wild in the menu. You can add all kinds of extras. Kinda expensive, maybe next time. The bread was insanely fresh and perfectly complimented the smoked turkey cheese and the avocado ingredients. It tasted maybe like sourdough bread. Not sure TBH. The mixture of oil and vinegar (the secret to a great sub btw!) gave the bread the extra magic it needed to cross the finish line and score the gold. This sub blew me away! Moist and delicious. First visit to this location honestly some of the best subs in the whole area very inherantly juicy and tasty took lots of pictures and also with the sub opened up thus so that others could see insights Etc. Happy to finally try this place out. We came during the lunch rush but ordering and waiting was very efficient, they have this system down especially with lots of pick up online orders. It was super busy and we only had to wait about 10 minutes. I really enjoyed my "California" sub, a turkey club with avocado, provolone and bacon. I added oil and vinager but they may have forgot it because I didn't taste it. Although the ingredients were fresh and the bread was toasted to perfection, if you prefer a more saucey sub definitely get a side of sauce, I should have to make it even better!
