    Panini and popcorn

I visited Tucker and Co for the first time. It is a local bakery and coffee co in a small town. It is a quiet shop that plays the best music! The coffee options were delicious. They offer a variety of locally owned and sourced products for purchase, such as loaves of bread, coffee, honey, and cheesecake. The workers were very friendly and the service was quick. I stayed through lunch and ordered a delicious panini. The only downside was the price. Close to $18 for a sandwich and popcorn. There is an understanding that gratuity is built into the prices. I'm left happy knowing they source locally and bake in house. Definitely want to come back again for a baked good and coffee!

Yummy breakfast sandwich! (Egg, bacon, spinach) Also, how sweet is the message on my juice?!

My absolute favorite spot in Dillsburg. Heidi is so sweet! It's especially good for hanging out and having a calm breakfast or lunch. When in town, I'm always sure to stock up on whatever homemade baked good looks the best, plus Little Amps coffee, sourdough, honey, yogurt, produce, Honey Mamas cocoa truffle bars, etc.! Love that most everything is refined sugar free!!!

I stopped in here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The cafe feels cozy and the food and drinks were pretty good. I really enjoyed the baked oat meal. I thought the chai was slightly weak for my taste but still good overall.

The baked oatmeal was delicious, my only complaint was that it was cold when I thought it was going to be warm.

Rolled into Mechanicsburg Breakfast & Pizzeria at the extremely conventional breakfast hour…read moreof...5pm on a Friday. I was the only diner in the place, which honestly made me feel like I had just rented out a private pizza studio. Bonus: plenty of free parking right out front because it's tucked into a little strip mall. Before I even ordered, the menu caught my attention--an eclectic mashup of pizza and tacos, with breakfast versions of both served all day long. It's honestly the kind of menu you'd expect to stumble upon in a dream where the universe says, "Go ahead, choose joy." I originally planned to be "responsible" and just grab a slice to test the waters, but they didn't have any slices ready and would've had to make an entire pizza just for me. That felt like a sign from the Universe to stop lying to myself. If they were firing up the oven anyway, why not go big? So I took the cosmic hint and ordered their semi-Instagram-famous Mexican Breakfast Pizza: eggs, chorizo, mozzarella, cheddar... a 10" "personal" pizza (their wording, not mine) for $14. Twist my arm. Drinks live in the cooler by the door and you just grab whatever you want and pay at the end. As I was mid-debate between soda and water, the guy behind the counter popped out from behind the curtain and said, "Hey, since you're getting a breakfast pizza, if you want juice... orange, cranberry, apple... you can have it!" Sir. Apple juice is basically the secret key to my heart. SOLD. He also mentioned they have games and coloring books available--apparently dominoes is the crowd favorite here. Unexpected and charming. A little sign on my table caught my eye: "If you love it, leave a nice review." Challenge accepted. This place was already earning every star. Placed my order at 5:02, snagged a seat by the window to watch the sunset fade and the traffic chaos whirl by. The sign on the wall said "GOOD vibes, GREAT flavors," and let me tell you: an accurate mission statement. At 5:20, my pizza emerged in all its glory--and it. was. stunning. The crust hit that sweet middle ground between thin and deep dish: sturdy, doughy, beautifully crisped on the edges, and wonderfully yeasty. The eggs-to-cheese ratio was perfection, and the chorizo? A knockout. Spicy, chunky, far more personality than the usual breakfast-pizza sausage situation. I ate 1.5 slices and boxed up the rest, which will easily feed me for another three days because, yes, I believe in leftovers as a lifestyle. As I was leaving, the man behind the counter introduced himself--Sebastian--and he had been nothing but attentive, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure I had a great experience. Service like that sticks with you. Total damage: $22.26 including tip. For great food, even better service, and days of leftovers? That's what I call winning. I'll definitely be back--probably at another totally normal breakfast hour.

Order at the counter and your food is brought out promptly. The owner made sure everything was good and kept asking if I needed anything. Making customers feel important is, well, important, so I'm glad they aim to please. Pizza slice was really good, could've been a bit more well done, but that's my preference. The birria quesadilla and (thick) consommé were out of this world excellent. Can't wait to come back and have that again and try some other dishes. All day breakfast is cool and a nice option to have in this area. Try this place and see for yourself.

Inside, the retro décor, red booths, chrome counter stools, and old-school atmosphere make you feel like you've stepped back in time. I ordered the biscuits and sausage gravy served over home fries. The biscuits were soft and fluffy, the sausage gravy was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, and the crispy home fries made the perfect base. It was a hearty, satisfying breakfast that hit the spot. The service was friendly, welcoming, and efficient, making the meal even more enjoyable. It's easy to see why this diner has become a favorite for both locals and travelers passing through the area. I was there last Saturday afternoon after the lunch crowd was gone heading back from Rochester. I topped off the gas tank and was hungry. So I park and head inside. It's not a big place. Several tables on one side and the bar on the other. I grab a seat on the end at the bar. The waitress comes over and I order a cup of coffee and look at the menu she provided. I'm pretty hungry not eating anything that day so far. I decide on the breakfast special ( 2 eggs any style and home fries). I add toast and bacon. Eggs over medium. The coffee is pretty good. I'm looking at traffic patterns in my phone, checking out the weather. Food arrives pretty quick and the plate is covered. Toast is fresh, home fries and good, bacon crispy and eggs cooked to order. The coffee gets refilled and I'm enjoying every bite. I like the old school diner vibe with the fresh coffee and diner style foods. I am finished and quite full with an excellent meal. I get the check and it's pretty cheap. She gets a good tip, I'm done with the coffee and out the door. I have been going past for maybe 20 years and stopped now twice. I think it will be a regular stop on my way to Rochester back and forth granted they're open. I think they're closing for a few weeks in August, just be aware. If you like the diner vibe and a good meal that won't break the bank, it's worth a visit. Yeah...where is Dillsburg? Rt 15 N/S in Pennsylvania. Google maps is a help.

The Tuskegee Airmen mural on the side of the building told me that I was in the right place. Upon entering it reminded me of both my NYC and southern roots- from the beautiful woodwork, to the vibrant artwork, to the immaculate service from Estelle and her husband. They gave us a tour as well as a history rundown of the business and its owners. Now- on to the food. CHILEEEE!!! We started off with the spicy empanadas. They were delicious and not too spicy. They were juicy and seasoned to perfection. The sauce that comes with it is delicious! Me and my best friend had the boss lady- I had it with scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese grits and lawd that is the best catfish I've ever had. It was perfectly seasoned and perfectly fried. Reminded me of my nana's cooking! She had her grits with gruyere and she said it was phenomenal. Now my man had the burger and that thang was beautifully plated and he said it was delicious and cooked just as he asked! He also ordered the roasted potatoes and that boy took his time with them thangs, okay?! This meal was eaten in SILENCE (IYKYK). Lastly, we had the peanut butter chocolate cake. The house was built around 1913 and was renovated to keep that calm elevated aesthetic. Chairs were very comfortable! There's artwork for sale to support local even more. Once a month they do a special dinner pairing with music. I'd give it 4.2 overall.

Not sure what was happening with staffing. It took a while to get menus and even longer to get our order put in. The waiter did check in on us to apologize for the long wait but it took over an hour to get our food. We saw other people waiting forever too and next to us, they were frustrated waiting a long time just to get their bill to pay. Another party had a woman finally flag down a waiter telling them no one has even taken their order. Where was upper management? It's not necessarily the waiters fault. Are they over-seating for short staff? The kitchen isn't keeping up with the orders, want to comp something from the bar maybe? One hours for food to come out is really disappointing. The food was good but not amazing or unique. The drink was suppose to be a blood orange old fashioned but tasted horrible so, probably not going to return for any mixed drinks. Scenery was very pretty bd relaxing. Ambiance was nice but restaurant service was so disappointing.
