I send this Review on behalf of my Sister In-Law (Irma E. from Tucson, Az.)…read more.. Earlier this year (February 2025) I took my Dodge Durango in for Emissions Testing and was told that a Check Engine Light (CEL) was on which prevented a "Passing Test". After searching for a location to look into the CEL issue, I ended up at Dave's Auto Repair. I was initially told that there was a fuel leak in the gas tank that was causing the CEL issue. After authorizing the repair, at a cost of $500, I was told to drive the vehicle at least 50+ miles, after which time the CEL would turn off. Well, the CEL persisted causing me to return to Dave's Auto Repair. After several attempts to correct the CEL, which covered over 2 months of return trips, I was told by Dave that the issue was actually a defective Gas Tank (that needed replacement). The Gas Tank replacement was authorized and, after another month of Vehicle Down Time, I again picked up my vehicle which was now equipped with a New Gas Tank and Replacement Gas Cap, all to the tune of another $500. In addition, I was told that the CEL would turn off after driving the vehicle for another 50+ miles. Unfortunately, the CEL did not go away so I decided to change "tactics" and took my vehicle to a Dodge Service Center (LHM). A Service Rep inspected my vehicle and determined that the Gas Cap was a Non-Certified Dodge part that was not sealing properly. An OEM Gas Cap was then installed which immediately caused the CEL to turn off, this at a cost of $50. So it looks like I was "taken" by Dave's Auto Repair at the tune of $1000 of probably un-needed repairs (looks like the real issue was just a work Gas Cap not providing the proper seal). Hold On!!! the story continues. Last week (early July 2025) I started up my Dodge Durango and immediately began to smell the odor of gas. As I began to inspect my vehicle, I found that a large gas leak was coming from my "newly installed" Gas Tank. I immediately turned off my vehicle, but the gas continued to leak out from the Gas Tank. Rather than return my vehicle to Dave's Auto Repair, I had it towed to the Dodge Service Center (LHM) for further inspection and repair. Morale of this Story, STAY AWAY FROM DAVE'S AUTO REPAIR....terrible service for unnecessary auto repairs, oh, and by the way, very rude!!!.

You won't find him at his desk as he is out on the floor selling vehicle(s). You can either ask for him at the front desk or also call and ask for him and they'll transfer you to him. If I can describe Triston in one word it would be hardworking. He absolutely did not stop trying to find me a vehicle I liked with ALL my requests. I was very impressed by his eagerness to find me a vehicle of my liking but also knowledgeable to advise me of vehicles that wouldn't make sense for me. Sometimes when financing a vehicle it can be challenging finding something without a salesman being too pushy or putting you in something that you don't even like just so they can make a sale off you. At LHM that will not happen if you go with Triston. I also highly recommend adding GAP & extended warranty, yes it will increase your monthly payments but it will also help you in the long run trust me. I have financed 3 vehicles with LHM and I've always walked out happy. I got my 2016 Dodge Challenger, 2021 Ford Escape and my 2022 Dodge Charger. I hope my experience helps you feel confident in getting your dream vehicle at LHM.

During a routine oil change, they BROKE my oil cooler housing and when I asked them to repair it,…read morethey were super super super super outright rude. They never repaired it and I had to pay an independent Shoppe $850 to have it repaired. These guys are crooks. Outright crooks. They said it was a coincidence that my oil cooler housing cracked right when they were doing an oil change. But the fact is, it's very common for inexperienced mechanics to crack that part , which is exactly what happened. A week after my oil change, at Larry H Miller in Tucson, my engine had no oil in it. They are outright crooks and they stole $850 from me. Crooks crooks crooks.

When we spotted a beautiful white Cadillac on the lot, we knew we had to pull in and take a look. That's when Carlos came out to help us, and he made the entire experience easy and enjoyable from start to finish. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and never made us feel pressured--just genuinely helpful. Incredibly, only a few hours later we were driving off the lot in our new vehicle, and we couldn't be happier with our decision! The whole process was smooth and exciting. We would absolutely recommend Chapman Speedway and Carlos to anyone looking for a great car-buying experience, and we would gladly work with them again in the future. Thank you for making this such a positive and memorable experience!

The repair cost was $3,800. Under Arizona's Consumer Fraud Act, a dealer cannot sell a vehicle with undisclosed defects or misrepresent its condition. I tried resolving the issue with them, but their little mechanic supervisor, (Jose) was rude and dismissive and tried to deny the leak because of his visual inspection. Because of how this was handled, I plan to speak with Davis-Monthan's JAG and the legal office this week to determine whether this dealership should be blacklisted. If you're considering buying a vehicle here, get it inspected by a trusted mechanic before signing anything. Avoid their unnecessary add‑ons like the AVAS system and the RED brake light package. I've bought several used vehicles in Tucson, and this has been the worst experience in terms of customer service and trust. Quebedeaux is solid (though more expensive) and Gotham Motors on Speedway (Family owned) has always treated me fairly. I should have stayed with them instead of going to Chapman on Speedway. I'm seriously considering legal action against them for knowingly selling a vehicle with a dangerous defect and lying about it.
