Not just a food truck! We enjoyed dining in the casual brick and mortar and indulging made fresh to order tacos. We ordered the specialty taco: chicken gyro taco, southwest steak taco, blackened shrimp taco, and birria taco. All were absolutely delicious and had us craving more. So....we ordered more. The chicken (pollo) taco and the steak (carne asada) taco. We also tried the chips and salsa. The tortilla chips were warm, light and thin with a good crisp. The salsa was bright, refreshing and had a good kick. They also serve a selection of beers and soft drinks. My only feedback would be regarding the southwest steak taco. While the flavors were there, the steak was a little tough. The birria consumé was a little different than the typical concumé of you've had it before. This one was a little thicker in texture and had almost a hint of BBQ maybe? Still...very enjoyable to me. Will 100% be back!

When Tuesday's was just the truck, we'd go anywhere in the area on any given day just for them. I'm so grateful there's a restaurant now with more hours and more opportunities for their salsa. At this point, we've had basically everything on the menu and I can't think of anything bad to say. There's something for everyone. The salads are great, minichangas are a must, and don't skip the chips and salsa. They've also always been happy to just grill up a cheese quesadilla for our toddler. Great service, great food. They have a loyal following, and it's definitely for good reason.

This truck was on Macon Rd today at 11:00am I got there at 11:30am. The guy was super nice. I noticed there were no condiments in my bag. I asked for some salsa verde. He gave me 1 small cup for 6 tacos. I asked for another and I even offered to pay for extra and I left a tip. He started to get me another and the lady on the truck stopped him and said 'no more'. He told me that they were out of salsa verde. He stated that he had given me the last one. I find that hard to believe being that I got there soon as the truck opened in the rain, so there were not a lot of people there. Other than that the tacos were good, very flavorful. However, I doubt if I look for this truck again to give them my business. There are plenty other authentic Mexican restaurants in the city that don't mind providing condiments to compliment your tacos.

I went to the physical location! First, service was good. Nothing over the top but they were friendly and helpful since it was my first time there. I chose the 2 taco combo so I could try two different tacos. With the 3 taco combo you have to have all the same meat (). I got the steak taco and Cuban. The Cuban is my favorite so I will definitely go back for that! Price point is reasonable. $14 for two taco combo and a drink. 10/10 recommend this place and I will get going back very soon. C

The entrance to this unassuming spot feels almost deliberately off-putting at first--plain facade,…read morea sign directing you to a side door that leads straight through an attached market. It's a clever (or perhaps just pragmatic) setup; that market itself is a gem, stocked with an impressive array of authentic Spanish and Mexican goods. We'll definitely return for provisions alone. Inside the dining room, the space is spotless if somewhat dated--simple, no-frills decor that prioritizes function over flair. Our server was cheerful and energetic, a bright presence, though service proved inconsistent; she largely vanished after taking our order, leaving us to wait an inexplicable 30-plus minutes for food despite only two other tables occupied. When plates finally arrived, the portions were strikingly generous, almost comically so for the price point. We began with the complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa carried decent freshness and a mild kick, but it wanted for seasoning--more salt, a bolder hit of garlic and cumin would have elevated it from passable to memorable. No refills appeared, which felt stingy given the "free" promise. The horchata, however, shone: creamy, deeply flavored with cinnamon and vanilla notes, refreshingly cool and well-balanced--one of the better versions I've encountered recently. The carnitas dinner plate delivered on volume: a mountain of moist, crisped pork that had all the textural appeal one hopes for--tender interior, satisfying crunch on the edges--yet it arrived curiously underseasoned, lacking the salty, savory depth that should define the dish. Homemade refried beans were a highlight: smooth, flavorful, clearly made in-house with real care. The Mexican rice held good seasoning too, though it verged on dry. Steak fajitas followed the same pattern--giant heaps tender strips of beef and soft, well-cooked vegetables in generous heaps, but again, flavor felt muted, as if the seasoning hand had been unusually light. It's puzzling: everything executed competently, meats tender, produce fresh, yet the palate kept searching for that missing punch of spice, acid, or salt. No where else in COLGA gives this much steak, so very grateful. The shrimp cocktail appetizer (small portion) justified its price through quality ingredients--clean, plump shrimp in a classic tomato-based sauce--but it was straightforward, nothing transcendent. The queso fundido with chorizo fared far better: authentic, house-made chorizo with real spice and depth, melded into creamy, stretchy queso that felt genuinely homemade and deeply satisfying. Desserts redeemed much of the meal. The tres leches cake was textbook--moist without being soggy, richly soaked in the three milks, properly sweet and authentic in texture. The chocoflan, though, was the standout: flawless layering, silky flan with just the right caramel note, dense chocolate cake beneath, executed with evident skill and genuine flavor. In the end, this place offers undeniable value through abundance and some authentic touches (those beans, the queso, the desserts), alongside a market worth the trip alone. But the persistent lack of seasoning across the savory dishes left the experience feeling curiously flat. It's hard to muster enthusiasm for a return meal when so much potential goes unseasoned. Still, another visit to explore different menu items isn't out of the question--perhaps the kitchen's bolder preparations will hit the mark. For now, it's a solid neighborhood option for quantity and certain homemade elements, but one that needs more confidence behind the seasoning to truly impress.

We were on our way from a long day in a production…read morefacility in Eufaula, AL to Atlanta, GA with customers and we found Jarfly on Yelp and thought we would give it a try. So glad we did. The menu is eclectic with just about something for everyone. All our food came out quickly. It was well prepared, fresh and everyone really enjoyed their food. There is a great drink selection and the service was excellent. The bar has roll up garage doors down one side that open up to an outdoor seating area with a variety of seating options. Decor is bright and cheerful. If I lived around here, Jarfly would be high up on my list as far as places to go relax drink and eat!

The combo appetizer included sweet potato fries, mozzarella sticks, wings, and nachos. The nachos…read morewere pretty basic--nothing special, no real cheese, barely any toppings. They honestly don't need to be on the menu. The mozzarella sticks were surprisingly flavorful with a nice crunch, but they came with way too much breading and only three of them, which felt stingy and odd. They definitely should've included more. The sweet potato fries had decent flavor but were under-salted (as fries almost always need after frying) and came out a bit limp and sad-looking. The hot wings weren't labeled as boneless or bone-in on the menu, but they turned out to be boneless--which is fine. They were a good size, but the "hot" sauce was extremely mild. It needs way more heat to live up to the name. Now, the ranch... this ranch is incredible. It's creamy, deeply flavored, and has the perfect amount of dill--it's practically divine. I could rave about this ranch all day. The Zombie drink comes in a cool skull glass (limited to one per person), but it's basically 99% ice with very little actual drink. I could barely taste any alcohol--maybe I have a high tolerance--but the flavor was solid. Still, it's pretty pricey for mostly ice. The John Denver cocktail also looked great in its presentation, but again, mostly ice. Thankfully, the flavor matched the menu description exactly, which was a pleasant surprise. The patty melt was solid overall, but it needed more salt and pepper for seasoning. My egg was overcooked (fully hard yolk instead of the runny one I was hoping for to ooze over the patty). The avocado was only on one half of the sandwich, which seemed strange. I'd have preferred a slightly thicker patty too, but I do appreciate that it came on Texas toast--even though the menu didn't mention it. All patty melts should use Texas toast. I added a side salad, which looked nicely artisanal, and--once again--that amazing ranch took it to another level. The regular fries that came with the Rodeo Burger aren't regular at all--they're battered and had great flavor and crisp structure. They were excellent... except for the missing finishing salt that every great fry deserves. The Rodeo Burger itself was cooked perfectly, but like the patty melt, the patties needed more salt and pepper. The egg was again overcooked (hard yolk). Beyond that, the flavors worked well, though the jalapeños were surprisingly mild and lacked punch. The bacon was spot-on--not underdone, not overcooked, just the right chew without being tooth-breaking. Overall, the food has potential, but seasoning (especially salt) is consistently missing, and a few portions/quality details could use attention. That ranch, though? Absolute standout
