Worst experience I've ever had. I ordered a shed and asked that some things be done to ensure the windows and transom and door trim was all the same level that it would be esthetically pleasing. This was stated multiple times on the contract. The day of the installation I noticed that none of what I wanted was done right. All the windows, transoms,transom, door trim was all different heights. I was given things I didn't want and things I ordered were not I stalled. We live where our neighbors have fruit trees so mice and rats are comon. I didn't order the foundation with vents but it came with holes. I said I didn't pay for vents. I was told vents (holes) were standard they provide the cover for the vents (holes) at an extra cost. Said no where on the contract. I ordered three vents on the back wall to vent the interior. They weren't installed. J also ordered the drip cap for the door also not Installed. They didn't square the door. So it hits and won't close smoothly. They didn't square the shed in the foundation area set for the Install. So yes it's cockeyed. The window installed by the so called factory was also not square. When they finished they left nails everywhere. Full strips of nails and other just thrown about. Not noticing this until I had one in my shoe. Needless to say nothing professional about them at all. Once I brought this to there attention. It was like I was a bother to them. They said it would be some time before they could get someone out to fix the issues. Needless to say just get a kit and build one they are cheaper and better built. Basically because you are doing your quality control. Not leaving it up to minimum wage employees to do quality work. read more

I purchased multiple Tuff Sheds over the last 5+ years from the San Diego county office. The installation is awful. The doors are no longer plumb and they do not close tightly allowing rats and water to enter and damage all the contents. They were not balanced so the doors also slam closed or swing open. This damaged the doors. I thought by spending a LOT MORE $$ I would receive a quality product but the installers they subcontract with are young kids, poorly trained and no building experience so many issues have arisen since their installation. I removed the ugly advertising on the front as I painted it a year later and that conveniently disabled the warranty?? How convenient is that? Tuff Shed does not stand behind their product. I DO NOT recommend paying extra for this product, Instead of lasting a lifetime, it fell apart in 5 years. read more

This company under pays their employees If you support underpaid wage labor keep supporting TUFF SHED. I had hopes in this company as a previous employee. The  supervisor/ management would expect more and more from me without a raise. This isn't a healthy work environment as they don't follow rules/protocols. Very hazardous and dangerous work it's a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt. I made the decision to walk away because I was being drained emotionally and physically. Sales staff doesn't tell the full truth when selling the sheds. They'll say these are the ramps that cone with all the sheds, but will not tell you they cost extra money. They make it sound like it's part of the sales price. Will not trust them again. I purchased my shed in the Escondido store. read more

I am SO happy with our Kitty Barn from Tuff Shed! Diane Graf was very instrumental in helping me decide what direction to take, and explaining the logistics. It was was complicated by weather conditions [frozen ground, storms, waiting on a concrete slab to cure, etc] and the Tuff Shed team never lost their patience. I also made changes and Diane was just swell about it. The poor installers, though - they had an uphill climb with the actual materials - and they were SO good about it. This was a new design with a special type of windows, and they worked very hard. Once done, we were all delighted with the finished product!
