Easy to work with- very flexible as our needs changed. We rented a large box for several days for a short-term move and we also rented a small box with onsite storage for the duration of a house project. They communicated with us at each step of the way. My daughter and I needed a pod to move the same week. She did some research and found Mi-Box had the best pricing and she said the guy she spoke with, Kyle, was really helpful. Our experience was outstanding! 5 min phone call and we had a reservation. My daughter lives in a condo with very little parking. Therefore, for her they offered to arrive at 7:30am and remove, same day at 1pm before tenants returned home. 5 hours to fill it so we were all on deck at 7:30. Debbie, the nicest delivery driver ever arrived at 7:25 and gently positioned the pod in the exact place. She was as kind and friendly as their office team. Debbie arrived promptly at 1pm, made sure all looked good and took away the pod. Then, this morning, Debbie arrived at my home to place a 20 foot pod at 7:30 am. I asked for a morning delivery and they made that happen. She flipped around the pod since we chose to have the entrance a little different than normal, and gently positioned it next to our personal vehicle. Truly impressive! Ours will stay throughout our escrow and will be taken directly to our new home while my daughters is being stored at their facility. Call these people! You won't be disappointed. read more

Polite and punctual, too. Scheduling was perfect and communication fantastic, even when the delivery in Maine was slightly delayed; they kept me informed. Only chance to improve would be to eliminate the bolt-heads on the inside lower edge on the three sides... needed to ensure foam padding kept furniture and boxes from chafing damage; solution worked well. We used a storage pod company for the first time in November. We wanted to use someone who had a local office and heard good things of the company. I called and spoke with Faith, very sweet gal, she answered all my questions. We ended up actually going to the office and they showed us the size difference of each of the storage boxes. Brian took care of the paperwork while we were there, and he and my husband talked about the old cars Brian and he had. The box was delivered the very next day, clean as a whistle. The girl that delivered it was so friendly and very experienced as to what she was doing. When we were ready to have it removed, we called and they came the very next day, the gentleman to removed it was efficient and fast. If we need to use a storage pod again, we will look no further than MiBOX. read more

I used Mi Box for several months. I had them deliver the pod to my home. The delivery was great. Driver was very friendly and professional. Box was clean. Unfortunately I didn't really take advantage of using it as I had hoped. Wanted it to store things I was going to keep as I cleared out my garage. I lost my motivation so it was a waste for me but totally nothing to do with the company. They are great. When I called to have them pick up that went well too. A different driver. Called me prior to arriving and it all went well. I would definitely use them if I needed this type of service again and I do recommend them. Overall decent service. Have had a couple issues however. 1. Call center is not very reliable and gives out wrong information. When discussing with main office to clarify a certain employee is consistently rude and dismissive. 2. (The main reason for the review) their pricing is misleading and probably intentionally. We ordered 2 containers to be dropped off, left for packing, picked up and stored, then delivered to a new address and then picked up again. We were told that our new address was outside of their area of 25 miles and would have to pay $2.75/mile round trip for both the delivery and then again for them to pick up the containers. Our new address is 53 miles from their warehouse. They priced it out as $2.75/mile each direction instead of round trip and claimed their paperwork (see photo below) isn't misleading. If you use their service ask more questions and be careful I guess. We ended up paying double what I calculated based on their estimate/documents. read more

The people who delivered it were excellent and worked with me on just where (far back in the driveway or not so much) the box could be placed. We needed a 16ft storage container to hold our stuff during a yearlong remodel. Mi-Box was very responsive and friendly to work with. The one downside is the large footprint required for their truck to drop off the container. It was a bit stressful getting the box into and out of our small driveway on a tight street but their truck drivers are extremely skilled and friendly. I only had to access my box once while in storage and it was extremely easy to do so. If you need a storage container I would definitely give them a shot. read more
