After we looked around at the different offerings Marc approached us and asked if we had any questions. I like this approach better than the car sales approach. I bought a 10x12 tough shed at the beginning of the year to use as an office since I am now working from home full time and have two, young children who needed my in-home office space more than myself. Overall fit and finish was great and with the COVID wood shortage this was actually cheaper than building it myself! The initial installers from this location did a great job, had the structure assembled in a little over 8 hours. Friendly, polite, skilled, couldn't be happier. About 6 months later I got a violation notice from the city that my shed was too close to the property line by mere INCHES and the neighbors had complained. The city inspector was really cool and even apologetic about the situation. I called Tuff shed as I couldn't move the structure myself. The corporate office responded the same day and got me on the schedule ASAP to have it moved. Tuff Shed Ontario sent two great guys out who were on time, moved the building faster than I ever would have thought possible and kept me from having to pay any fines from the city. Marc Z. who had helped me with other purchases and installations in the past remembered me. After catching up a bit I ordered a 10x12 shed to fit into my backyard plan. Delivery was just a few days' interval. Fortunately I had prepared the area ahead of time as I had no idea that they could deliver so quickly. Needed a new Door handle for a very "mature shed" that came with my house and no key....Came to the factory in Ontairo as they carry the handles (called to find out first). We just had our third Tuff shed installed in a 30 year period. Our first is still in great condition and stores a ton of our grown kids' memorabilia. We LOVE these sheds. This last experience with Tuff Shed in Ontario was the best, by far! It was great fun to go to the warehouse and peruse with no pressure at all from sales & design consultant Marc Zamora. Garrett, the project manager in the Ontario facility, was very responsive to my few concerns and went above and beyond to address them to my complete satisfaction. Jorge and Osmin, who came to our home to build our Tuff Shed, were courteous, professional, and excellent in all they did. It was clear that they take pride in the craftsmanship of their work, from squaring the platform frame to the smallest details in painting the trim. They also thoroughly cleaned up the work site and left nothing behind. Whereas Tuff Sheds are prefabricated, I am also very impressed with the quality of construction, which is far more similar to a tiny house than to a typical shed. The quality of the shed was good. There customer service is horrible. Would not recommend this company JUST due to the workers that came to my house. Throwing the walls on my new cement, plants and planters. They WERE going to paint the walls of the shed on my new concrete without any tarps down. I stop that immediately. I explained to them this is my new backyard and you are going to paint on our new concrete. He replies where do you want me to paint? Really? If you don't have tarps no where! They wear very rude. After searching for the perfect shed to fit in a certain area of our backyard my husband contacted the guys at Tuff Shed. The process was so quick and easy. The guy came and talked to us as to what we want and need took some measurements and showed us some options. He took down our info and payment method literally next day the guys were installing the shed. It does take about half a day to build it but that's the best part it is custom made. Quality is good, so far no rains so will keep you updated. We did have an issue with the original installation, the shed was taller than anticipated and was covering half of our bedrooms window. After calling the manager Anthony Madrid and explaining the situation the guys came took down the shed and reinstalled with appropriate measurements all in one week! Thanks Garrett, I had my Tuff Shed installed - maybe 5 years ago and love it. Really a quality item....just recently and without disclosing how I backed into my tuff shed and wrinkled the drip edge. I was thinking "Crud" how am I going to fix this! Looked at all the local hardware stores to see if I could match the drip edge - and no luck!! So I called Tuff Shed in Ontario and was told "they weren't using the same style of drip edge any longer... another "Crud" I was asking if they had a number for the vendor, hoping the vendor was supplying a hardware store close by....and was transferred to Garrett, Garrett asked me to take a couple of photos to see the drip edge and send to him. Within 20 minutes - he gets back to me and says - come on by the shop - I found a piece. I drove over (right then) to see what he had. This is what I experienced, met a really nice guy - walked into the warehouse grabbed the piece of drip edge - comes out and says "here ya go"! Don't I owe you anything? "No - my pleasure"! Great to deal with companies that take the extra step, no lip service - - he took my call - he asked for confirmation - he took the time "right then" to look for a solution - he cared enough to seek a solution for me now, not when it was more convenient later - and then said " here you go". Wow! Wasn't expected- but very appreciated.
