On a Friday night I was at the Ontario Lowe's on Philadelphia and Grove, getting supper frustrated and disappointed because I could not find what I specifically gone to look for. Not a fan of this location at all. I was there around 7:30pm on a weekday trying to buy artificial grass but needed someone to cut the grass for us since it's a large roll in the back area. I went up front to ask for assistance and they said they would get someone to help me out so I went back to the grass area and waited. After about what felt like 10 mins, I went back to the front and asked an associate who was pushing a cart if they can help. He responded and said he'd be right with me. 10 mins later, still no one to help. I decided to just leave at this point because there was barely anyone at the store but they couldn't help me?? I ended up seeing the guy who was supposed to help me carry something out for another lady. I was pretty annoyed. I drove a bit further to the Lowe's in the Upland location and oh my! It's night and day. Highly recommend the Upland location for better service and better selection of artificial grass as well. read more

This specific location did not want to accept my LT warranty on my ratchets from the lowes brand craftsman pretty weird because I've exchanged them before no problem last year, but to say you sell a lifetime warranty product but when I bring them in they tell me they aren't allowed to exchange them ? sounds like lawsuit to me for false advertising a lifetime warranty, value for the money is little to none bought a mechanics set for at home use had to exchange them bc of being defective then used them maybe 20 times max and had two ratchets fail 1 seized up, 2 attachment bit broke off I don't blame the workers for just doing their job, I blame the company for not doing better with the said lifetime warranty ! read more

Shout out to Kitchen Designer Angel Avila and Store Manager Lino. These fellas were attentive to what we were looking for. My wife and I went to Lowes in search of kitchen cabinets. We had some idea of we were looking for. These 2 guys listened to our needs. They collaborated with us and drew up a design that honed into what we had in mind. Mind you, it took a couple of hours. (They were gracious and offered us drinks and some snacky-snacks which I gobbled up). Getting back to Angel and Lino. They were so knowledgeable with fresh ideas, and gave so much in-put, it made it easier for us to see the whole picture. We made an appointment with a contractor to come out and get measurements. Even Crista was amazing. She also helped with a portion of the design. A few days later they called us to view the rendering of 3-D print outs. My wife and I made a few changes and "WHALAH", exactly what we had in mind. Now we saw it on paper. That's all she wrote. We were sold and signed on the dotted line. That aint all. They beat out the competitors that tried to over sells us and give us what they wanted, not what we had in mind. So a "BIG UPPS" to Lowes staff and to all who helped out. Even the paint department came out, showed a few color swatches and zoned in the colors my wife had in mind for our kitchen design. Last week we purchased a shower walls from Angel H. great customer service. Today the installation was going to happen but one of the walls was cracked. I call Lowe's to make sure they had it in stock for the exchange, I get "thank you for calling ... please hold" 30 minutes later someone finally picks up (Cherie). I explained my situation and she said she would check, she must have asked and 5 minutes later another girl (didn't get her name) gets on the phone and said "yes, we have 1 left" I said "can you put it on hold for me" her response was "we don't put things on hold" I said "you mean to tell me, you won't hold it after we got a damaged wall" hadn't even finished my sentence and she put me on hold, 4 times someone would pick up but put me on hold again. Not only did it delay my install by a day, I got even more aggravated when we went to make the exchange. I've been shopping at this Lowe's for over 20 years and never had to open a credit card. Recently I was in need of a washer and dryer. I figured I'd apply for the Lowe's credit card and get 100 off the purchase. I didn't qualify for the Lowe's card however I was approved for Fortiva? I never gave consent to have my credit ran them too. My credit was ran twice. Two hard hits and never got my $100 off. Sales associate Angel rushed me through the process and seemed like his concern was more about getting people to apply for the card. Very misleading and he should have explained that if Lowe's didn't approve a credit check would be performed by a different credit card. From now on I'm going to start going to Home Depot. read more

The ineptitude of the employees of this store and the company itself needs to be studied. I wanted to buy Allen + Roth tiles and OF COURSE they are online only. On the website it gives you the option of in store or delivery. The lead time was one week which didn't work I needed the tiles ASAP. There was an option for next day delivery for $39 dollars which was cheaper than the one week in home delivery. Unfortunately I committed the crime of living a city over in Montclair and my area code did not qualify for next day so I'd have to wait a WEEK longer for living 15 minutes away!!! When I called the store the girl on the phone also did not understand why this was such an issue and I asked if the store could place the order or I can ship it to the store directly. When she asked her supervisor (who seemed totaly uninterested in helping me and was giving her WRONG information) he said its only available for one week delivery outside of 91761. YES I KNOW! Instead of trying to find a work around so I can spend 800 DOLLARS at your store they were totally fine making me wait for something that could have been delivered in a day! We bought a Toilet, Kitchen Faucet, and a Cooktop from Lowe's Ontario, but only had problems with the installations. Not just on one of the items, but the installation of all three. The first two to be installed were the toilet and faucet since they were both involved plumbing. I took the day off and waited for my designated time period. I had received FOUR prior confirmation calls from Angi confirming a 12 to 4PM window. At 4:10PM of the installation day I called the contractor to determine when to expect them. I was told Lowe's had cancelled the installation. That was a wasted day off from work. On the second attempt the toilet was installed effortlessly. The same would have been the case for the faucet but we needed an adapter. To keep the plumber working I went to the Ontario Lowe's for the needed part. Unfortunately, no store associate could be found to give assistance. I was simply told the plumbing associate was let go earlier that day. The install plumber Googled Lowe's to let me know the exact part I needed. Once I returned home this job was completed. Prior to getting my Cooktop installed it was determined that the model I bought would not fit the opening in my kitchen. I requested models that would fit but none met my approval. I did eventually find a Cooktop that was similar to the original one I had purchased. I was also sold the Gas Install Kit for $39.99. On installation day just like the first two items I encountered challenges. The installer arrived at my house with the Cooktop, but was not given the Gas Install Kit. I called to see if I could come pick it up, but was told only the installer could pick it up. The installer went back to the Lowe's Ontario store, but while he was waiting in line he discovered the wrong size Gas Install Kit was purchased. The Gas Install Kit I needed was only $29.95. I have been a Lowe's customer for so many years and unfortunately, have never been SO disappointed.  I have received many requests via Online and Text regarding The Lowe's Customer Service Experience and Angi's Service and I am challenged to give any type of positive review for Lowe's Ontario. In working with both Monique and Aaron, they seemed professional, yet knowing that there were so many issues with these orders and a disappointed customer, I feel there was such a lack of follow-through regarding the status of the orders and installations. As I have taken the time to share my journey with my purchases from the Lowe's Ontario, I am saddened no apology or resolution, or compensation has come my way. On the early morning of october 1st My husband and I received the most horrible customer service ever in our life. It is extremely rare that I will give a negative review. you have to be a top-notch horrible person for me to give you a review like this. It was a beautiful morning and I was really excited. Because we were going to Lowe's to purchase some new items for my new office. My husband was helping me pick out items. I purchased a new vacuum, cleaning supplies, tools, nails, etc etc As we get to the cashier stations. It was strange, the mood changed drastically. It was odd we went to the first cashier register to the right and as My husband starts scanning. As I'm pulling out items to put on the shelf for him to scan All of a sudden, it became Chaotic. There were a lot of employees up front close to us, and it became a very uncomfortable feeling Like we were being watched. it was an ugly feeling! as I'm putting items up asked one of the employees that was standing there, a lady.I politely asked her, " excuse me Would you mind Cutting the wire from the vacuum please?" She immediately with a sharp tone said so rudely, "NO you HAVE TO PAY FOR IT FIRST" I didn't understand where that came from. Because we literally just got to the station. I've never had any interaction with this lady before. I was thrown off. Another lady came behind me as we're scanning and ask me for my ID I was puzzled and asked her, "you want my ID?" She said "yes" I was confused because she didn't ask me for my credit card just my ID. no worries, I show her my ID I then brought out my american express I FINALLY caught on to what was going on. After I showed her my American Express that we were paying. They were still very rude. As my husband was scanning, a bag of zip ties fell, a bunch of zip type fell on the floor I asked one of the ladies this bag broke. Can you please get us a replacement. An older lady loudly responded she wants me to go get her a Replacement and th e other few women that were standing by next to us looked over to her with this ugly face like if we were bothering them. Even though they were the ones extremely rude to us. I sincerely cannot Believe what we were experiencing. When my husband scans the vacuum. He accidentally pressed the button to purchase the warranty on the vacuum. As I was going through the items purchased on the screen. I noticed the warranty and asked one of the ladies that was still standing by with all the other ladies If she can please remove the warranty. She walked over, attempted to remove it by pushing some code and walk away. I went through the items purchased again and saw the warranty on the screen had not been removed. I let her know The warranty was not removed. She walked over so angry pushed in some code. Another older lady came next to her to help her remove the warranty. Again I am floored abour we are being treated. My husband and I walk into Lowes often to purchase items for our home. The only difference is that we were not in our professional attire We were in our grubsl Extremely dressed down. Because we were going to do some painting and work on my office. To make this quick and brief. I went in to get a hose for my toilet the was leaking. Went to the plumbing section, grabbed one that I thought was correct. And walked to the closet Lowes member I saw. A male with long brown hair. And said "excuse me, I need some help, a pipe broke and I'm trying to replace it, will this work?" And without even looking at the size of it, or making any effort to check if it was correct. His answer was " yep that will work" I looked at my brother who was with me and we are both in shock at this man's answer. I kind of chuckled. And said thank you and walked away. I am blown away by how terrible this Guys customer service was. It literally made my brother and I laugh as we were walking out. I bought one of their top of the line LG refrigerator 3 years ago ... everything was fine until my craft ice stopped making ice... I called LG; never sent in a technician to look at it now six months later the whole refrigerator died ... 10 days ago, I called LG and they only have one company contracted in my area that it's an hour and a half away from my house to come in and fix my refrigerator. Today's day 10 I have not heard from them. My refrigerator is dead and I don't have other refrigerator in my house. Called Lowe's 4 days ago and told them this is unacceptable to leave a family without a refrigerator for 10 days and they said the only thing they could do it was to issue a $200 gift card for me to buy a dorm refrigerator and that gift card never arrived so false promises and when I bought my refrigerator I spent over $4000 in that refrigerator last me three years poor customer service, poor products and poor people skills. And beside the what am I gonna do with the dorm refrigerator put hotdogs in yogurt, cause that's the only thing that will fit on it. I would definitely not recommend Lowe's due to their poor customer service. I would definitely not recommend LG's products because they're not built to last and definitely I would never recommend their extended warranty assured because they don't their duties of fixing the products when you needed it. read more

Laurel in the garden area of the Redlands store was extremely helpful. I was looking for a specific plant for about 1 year. I contacted Laurel. She was able to contact the Lowe's supplier, Monrovia, and obtain the plants I was seeking. Laurel and I exchanged numerous telephone calls in obtaining the specific plants. Laurel was always upbeat even though the supplier missed a few delivery dates. When the plants finally arrived at the Redlands store Laurel put several aside for me. When I picked the plants up, Laurel was off work but the cashiers were thankful I had arrived. It seems Laurel ordered 25 of the plants and all of them sold. Such an unfortunate experience. After an hour waiting for curbside today, my husband left. I called the customer service desk, as was recommended by the curb side associate trying to help, to only be told by a gentleman who was clearly upset that he was being inconvienced, thay they would get to him when they could and they hung up even when I asked if he should come back later. INCREDIBLE experience! The staff was fantastic! I visited store to look at dishwashers and the appliance department team was exceptional. After careful feature/quality research and product advice from associates, we chose a Midea dishwasher. They went out of their way to have it transferred from another store because the machine was out of stock online. Sadly, after we purchased the dishwasher and took it home, we discovered it was 1/2 inch too tall!! This store was fantastic about the return and immediately began helping us find a dishwasher that would fit (Our house is 120 years old. Having not purchased a dishwasher in 15 years, we didn't realize the dimension issues we might now have). After more research and much discussion, we opted to buy the Bosch 300 ADA. Sadly it is "backordered" and won't be arriving until April 1st, but I am willing to wait. Yes, other home improvement stores/appliance stores can get it to me quicker, but I won't go there. I am now a LOYAL Ontario Lowe's shopper! I have never had a team be as helpful, understanding and knowledgeable as this one. THANK YOU to these fantastic associates - Alex, Liza, Anthony(appliance),Vinh and the awesome management team that supports them (yes, the managers were just as involved in this process, making sure that I was completely satisfied and purchasing the BEST machine for our situation). There are no words to express my appreciation for all of the help. We know we will be buying a refrigerator in the not too distant future, and the ONLY place I will purchase in the Ontario Lowe's store. PLEASE share our deep appreciation with this entire team. I just got released from the hospital and my sister ordered me goods that my doctor said would make my home care better(needed this urgently). My gf went to go pick up the curbside pick up and they did not want to release her the order even tho she was assigned as the pick up person. she received the rudest treatment from the staff there because it was almost closing time. most likely they had to do an extra step but they where too lazy to do it since it was 15 min till closing. Giving this store 1 star because of the customer service I received from them. I purchased a brand new refrigerator from employee named ANGEL in appliances on 6/22/24 for my family and had delivery scheduled for 6/26/24. Never got any confirmation of my delivery so I called them for an update turns out they cancelled my order without notifying me of anything on their part because they had the wrong customer name, phone number & address on my order that I paid for . I did receive an email because that's the option I clicked when paying for it lol and it had the order number which was how I was able to get information about my order being cancelled. Lisa the supervisor said that corporate was the one that canceled my ordered and that "I shouldn't have received an email about the order " even tho I did because it was my order and payment. They were no help at all and made it seem like I was a liar even tho I spent $1,600 for my refrigerator that day. I had to go into a different Lowe's and re purchase it. No one ever apologized for the mix up on their end just blamed corporate for the mistake. So please don't purchase any appliances from THIS STORE YOU MIGHT NOT EVER SEE IT. When you finally come in contact with an employee they act like you are bothering them! I came in contact with 6 employees this morning and only 1 was pleasant and very helpful! I came here a couple of months ago to get some paint and I was stuck waiting for 20-30 minutes before I left. No one acknowledged me at the paint desk, no one said sorry for the wait. The only time a worker ever talked to me was when I was leaving and they told me, "Oh we called someone for you if you want to wait". I told them I've been waiting for a long time and no one ever came. As someone who works in retail and customer service, I was very disappointed that no one ever approached me or asked if I need help. What kind of store closes a department at 3pm. The garden center hours are big and bold printed stating you close at 8pm. Absolutely ridiculous having your customers go all across the entire store from the garden center to the pro desk just to check out. Keep the doors open until the stated time!!!! The deserve recognition because their customer service is simply AMAZING...they go above and beyond..!! I got custom motorized blinds for my new place. There were a few minor hiccups along the way. n 8/9/23 around 8:24 pm in Ontario, CA, at the intersection of Grove and Cross St., near the 60 freeway and Lowe's, I was buying items for my home. At counter one, I noticed an item priced at $5.98, but the computer displayed $7.98 I informed the cashier and she asked me to take a photo and bring it to her. After showing it to her supervisor or manager, they refused to honor the sticker price despite my evidence. It's baffling why establishments like this exist in shopping.
