    Pad Pad See Ew Noodles
    Thea F.

I ordered the pad see ew and the noodles were pretty tasty. The serving seemed a little small for almost $16. The tofu was pretty bland, and the dish overall had less flavor than I expected. I did order it without egg, so that probably affected it. But it hit the spot for lunch. Probably won't order this dish again, but I've had the pad Thai and that's better.

our first time at tuk-tuk! ordered to go. swimming angel $13, sweet tamarind chicken $14, crab rangoon $9, fried calamari $10. i love a good sauce but did not like how much liquid was at the bottom of my dish. disappointed with the appetizers. rangoons & calamari seemed small, calamari definitely could have been battered/fried better. we would maybe go again but would skip the apps for sure. $46 for the food + $2 cc fee + $6 taxes and fees - $55 before tip. a bit much imo but glad we tried it.

: Although I haven't dined in at Tuk Tuk Thai Cuisine, I recently stopped by to grab a Thai milk tea, and it was absolutely fantastic! They offer two options, regular milk or coconut milk, and I highly recommend going for the coconut milk. It added a delightful creamy flavor to the tea. This was by far the best Thai tea I've had anywhere in Dallas! For an even more flavorful experience, I suggest asking for less ice. Tuk Tuk Thai Cuisine is a must-visit for Thai tea enthusiasts looking for a memorable and delicious drink. The staffs are friendly too!

    Yellow curry (good)

I found out this restaurant replaced Khao San (which I really liked) so I decided to order delivery. As far as I could tell, the menu seemed exactly the same. Of course that's based on my memory and I have ADD, so who knows. However, it gave me the impression that some of the staff might be the same. They have a good selection of appetizers to choose from. The money bags are great and deliciously crispy. The crab rangoon is especially tasty, better than the previous restaurant here and better than I've had at most nearby restaurants. I found the tulip dumplings to be a bit greasy and overcooked, but would be willing to try them again in case it was an off batch. The BBQ Pork Fried rice was pretty decent, but I liked it better from Khao San. The rice was fine, but the pork seemed slightly undercooked which changes the texture and made it less satisfying. The yellow curry with jasmine rice was quite good, I liked it a lot and would definitely order it again. Although I noticed the rice was not jasmine rice. However, under Sides on the menu I noticed several rice options listed, so this was probably just a mix up of orders during the dinner rush. It didn't negatively impact my meal, just an observation. Overall, I found the food to be quite good, just a few execution flaws that could be the result of being new, short staffed or especially busy. No big deal. I recall this restaurant being kind of small and cramped, so I prefer delivery for now. There's a good chance they did some magic with the renovation and I would like to try out their lunch specials if I'm in the area on a weekday before 3pm, so I may find out soon.

They have gone down hill. Pad Thai was definitely not made right. Hardly any sauce. Very little meat. Yuk yuk.

1-Star Review We…read morevisited this restaurant on 8/16 with a group of friends. We ordered 3 Thai teas, 3 entrees, and 1 appetizer. When ordering the Thai tea, the server asked if we wanted to try it with coconut milk. She did not mention that the coconut milk would be an additional charge, but we were charged extra for it. We were also charged for an extra Sprite that we did not expect. I felt this was very misleading. Please check your bill carefully before paying and make sure you understand all additional charges. Unfortunately, the food was also very disappointing. None of the entrees were enjoyable, and we couldn't even finish half of our bowls. For the price and the overall experience, we were very unhappy. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place based on our visit.

When we walked in, it was very quiet--just us and one other table. If you're looking for a calm,…read moretucked-away dinner, you'll probably love that. For me, it leaned a little too quiet, but it did make the whole experience feel slow-paced and intentional instead of rushed. The space itself is cute and thoughtfully put together, simple without trying too hard. Service matched that energy--easy and natural. We were helped by both staff members throughout the meal, and they were kind, efficient, and attentive without hovering. The vegetarian egg rolls were crispy and solid, but the real star was the house sweet & sour sauce. I'm still thinking about it. It's that good. The green bean app was another win--crispy, flavorful, and super snackable. I personally would've loved a little more sauce, but that's a small thing. The Volcano Catfish (2/5 spice) absolutely delivered. Huge portion, perfectly cooked, and everything on the plate worked together. The fried rice soaked up all the flavor and held its own. This is the dish that makes the price make sense. The Pad Thai with chicken (1/5 spice) was a sleeper hit. Once you add the lime and mix everything together, it really opens up--bright, balanced, and surprisingly good. Only note for me--the chicken wasn't my favorite. Not bad, just not my preference. I'd order it again with shrimp next time (my husband thought the chicken was good). Overall, nothing felt rushed, nothing was missed--just a really solid dinner. Would I come back? Yes. Would I come back specifically for that sauce? Immediately.
