I needed some comfort food yesterday and I had the khao piek sen delivered to my home. It was so good I had to go in person today to enjoy it again. Today, we ordered khao piek sen with chicken again and also tom zap - both level 4 spice. Good level of spice if you like a kick, but not so much to leave your mouth burning. Both were so flavorful and it was even better the second time. I couldn't pass up on the mango sticky rice for a dessert. The mango was perfect and the glaze had just the perfect amount of sweetness. We washed all that down with a thai tea and green thai tea with boba and they were both very good. The woman assisting us with our order was super nice and even remembered our order from the day before! It wasn't busy inside with dine-in customers but plenty of to-go orders were in and out. We ordered the Orange Chicken and the Cashew Chicken. The Orange chicken was hard and couldn't cut through it with a knife or bite through it. Instead of this he made a made a sandwhich. I love the pad Thai and the tom yum soup here! My brother loves the pineapple curry. My family usually orders the same dishes each time because they're so yummy. omgness what a great find! we thought we had gone to all the "nearby" Thai food places, but didn't think about Corinth directly... so this was great for us location wise. I feel like all the great ones we've tried are on university, which takes us 15-20 with traffic, but I was home from the pick up in that amount of time. Wowowow. I am speechless! Our brother in law raves about this place and he was definitely right to do so! Yum yum yum. I love Thai food when made right and this place does exactly that! I loveddd the tom kha- so so tasty. My husband got a curry dish wish was nice too! And I got a pork noodle dish which was so pleasant- really sweet. And Thai tea was solid too! The restaurant is next to an apartment complex. Inside was nice and clean- not super fancy but I'm definitely ok with that. They like to play K-pop music inside. I was in the mood for Thai and this popped up in my feed. I've been pretty disappointed in the Thai restaurants in Denton, this one is technically in Corinth in new development area. All buildings around are new and look fresh. Pretty easy ordering, you pick a menu order at the desk and they come out with the food to your table. They have 5 spice levels, I went with level three which was perfect for me. A light sweat but wonderful spices. The decor is quite nice and was nicer than what I expected since they don't have servers. The presentation of the dishes was very nice and also was better than I had expected. I wanted to try a couple of things so I first went with a small Tom Khaa soup with tofu. It was a lot bigger than I expected. It tasted great! Good selection of veggies and the flavors just came together perfectly. For the main meal I ordered Panang Curry with tofu. It was good but not as great as Tom Khaa. I'm a bit picky with Panang Curry and I like mine a bit thicker. If I didn't have a favorite Thai spot in Plano that has amazing Panang Curry then I would likely think this one was awesome too. I'm really glad to see a good Thai restaurant near me, I will definitely explore more of their dishes soon. read more

Ordered online and the process with pretty simple for ordering and pickup. The map was off though. Ordered the pork egg rolls and crab rangoons as appetizers. Egg rolls were great. Rangoons could have been cooked a little longer. Hadn't had Thai food in awhile and recently moved to the area. The yellow curry with chicken was tasty. I chose level 2 spice level for all entrees. Very good. The pad see ew was good but portion size was a little skimpy compared to the other dishes ordered. Not sure if they were just low on the noodles but surprised about the portion. We were out and decided to get some lunch. I have never been to this area in Corinth. The restaurant was small. I assume they have a lot if take out, but there are tables to eat in, which we did. You order at the counter and your food is delivered to your table. The food is very good. The crabmeat fried rice was delicious. I highly recommend it. It is hard to compare to the crabmeat fried rice, but we also had the Basil Fried rice with chicken and it was also good. The crab Rangoon was a nice starter. I love Thai Tea and their Thai Tea is worth the splurge. My husband asked for zero spice in the crabmeat fried rice, so I asked for some Sriracha for me. I got spice level 3 on the Basil Fried Rice. The flavor was good and it wasn't so spicy that my husband couldn't have some. Having extra Sriracha was nice for both dishes. Our server/cashier was very personable. Called in my order for a lunchtime pick up - and they'd had to make it over because it wasn't mild. The last time I'd ordered medium spice and had tears running down my cheeks. It was still delicious but maybe I should save my tears for after a work day. This time I tried the drunken noodles with tofu and the green papaya salad Lao style. After the slight delay getting home, I eagerly ripped open the containers to eat quickly before my next meeting. The only difference between a Thai and Lao style green papaya salad is that Thai uses peanuts on top and Lao uses a salty small baby crab. I said no to the peanuts and opted to try the Lao. I did not care for it and would not order again but it was still fresh and handmade. The noodles had lots of yummy, thin sliced veggies and plenty of fried tofu. I could have saved half of it for another meal but who are you talking to? I ate the whole thing. Neither were spicy at all. I definitely will go back but will try more dishes. The Thai style green papaya salad will be a must have. I order it without nuts because of allergies but it's delicious. Next time, I will order it medium spice level again. I'd rather cry than not have spicy food. They are still filling out the space in the backyard patio area. A couple of tables, a couple of plants. Soon, they'll add some string lights and it is BYOB! If you're looking for authentic Thai food, look elsewhere. This is more of a Americanized, fast-food take on it. With the apartment complex that it's by, I can see how it's a super convenient takeout option. But we weren't very impressed with the food. Portions are not generous. The food was extremely oily and afterwards it didn't sit well in my stomach. Chicken was dry, and the flavors reminded me a bit of Panda Express (which I do like, on occasion, but I didn't come with those expectations). Overall disappointing. read more

This place seems mostly geared for take-out, but does have enough seating inside for probably around 20 people. Very simply interior. You go up to the counter and order and pay for your food and then they'll bring it to your table. I chose this place because I saw they had lad na on the menu, which is my favorite Thai dish. It was served piping hot on a chilly evening and was delicious! I just got least spicy, which seems like it means just a good amount of pepper on top, which I liked. My husband got the pepper steak and was going to get it a little more spicy but they recommended him to just do least spicy because it's already a bit spicy, and he was glad he listened because he said it was plenty spicy. If you live in the area and want some good Thai food, especially if you just want take out, definitely give it a shot! read more

I ordered a few items from here to eat for dinner. Beef larb was too salty and they barely give you enough lettuce to eat with the larb. I ordered extra lettuce, mint leaves, cilantro & vermicelli to pair with my larb but got none of the extra that I paid for. The crispy chicken wings had little to no meat on it and was very dry and overcooked. Some of the wings tasted pretty bad that I felt like I was gonna get sick from eating it. On our way from Dallas to visit my mother in Denton we stopped by A Bite of Lao and Thai. My thoughts are if a restaurant mentions Lao I'm guessing either the owners or the chef is Lao. Of course I could be wrong. My mom and hubby love Pad Siew so we picked up two orders. My favorite is typically. Pad Kee Mao. I got to say Yum. The food is delicious, beautiful balance of flavors, generous portions, crunchy veggies, and the noodles well they definitely tasted like fresh flat rice noodles. Thank you so much for existing. We will be back. Not sure about the ambience because I didn't go in, but because I speak a little bit of loud, my husband saw an elderly woman sitting close to the kitchen, and he mentioned that he wished I had gone in so I could greet her. This restaurant was hard to see when we first pulled into the parking lot but worth the search. The atmosphere was pleasant with just the right amount of low music so we could visit. Extremely long wait time and HORRENDOUS service, and diminshed food quality!!! I have been going here since the 3rd week they first opened here in Corinth and have been a regular customer (weekly). This place has gone downhill in many respects. For an asian restaurant, we have come to expect and tolerate only a cursory and vanilla-level customer service in deference to the food. What I have just experienced today leaves mad me so angry that I had to update my original review. After placing an order, we waited 53 minutes before let it be known to the two ladies working counter the wait was long and wondering when to expect our food. There was ZERO, not even a hint of customer service or acknowledgement from both girls as they stand there piercing into the kitchen waiting to received food to fill out their GrubHub orders. No apologies, no offer to give water or anything that remotely resemble common sense customer service. There were also others waiting an hour also in front of us expressing their dismay for which there was no response of any kind even as well. As I see it, this is a reflection of poor management on the part of the owners who were both in the restaurant today - one cooking and the other in the back room not to be seen but once popping out for something briefly. This unacceptable customer service has trickled down to the front counter staff for which they are woefully untrained in hospitality and customer service. Maybe they do not care!? I had asked again when my food was going to be started, and the front counter person said "it is starting now" - an hour later. Apparently this was not the case either because the owner cooking yelled out the name of our special spicy catfish was only started 10 minutes after that! Once the fish was complete, the girl just slide the order to me without saying a single word!! I asked to speak to the owner and that was relayed to the owner. As you may expect at this point, this request was not acknowledged and he made no eye contact at me looking at him. We walked out in disgust. As for the food, you can guess... it was rushed and there was virtually no sauce on the hastily prepared dish. Maybe it was made inferiorly out of spite but the dish was subpar. Needless to say, we do not plan to come back to this place. My experience left me shaken about how awful this was when I thought I would be enjoying a nice dinner 1hr 25 mins before when I decided to pop in. P.S. They now have a QR code explaining their need to conserve on plastic utensils and such due to rising costs so for those of you expecting to eat your food on the go, you would not automatically be getting them with your order. Came into town and was staying at a hotel in the same parking lot. Great food near me brought this place up...so why not. Just a few minutes to walk. Staff was super helpful with all our questions about the menu and patient. When you order you get to pick your spice level. This is from 1 to 5. We like EXTRA spicy, so they offered up to level 8 haha We accepted. Started with the Texas Sized Papaya Platter first. They put all that spice on the Papaya Salad. Whew it was extremely spicy, but couldn't stop eating it. Apparently the chef was quite impressed with our tolerance of the spicyness haha and I ordered a Jasmine tea too... don't ask why, but I was craving it. Then I just had to try the Pad See Ew. Added some beef. Perfection. So much flavor and the noodles were my favorite part. Beef sauteed with a bit of a crisp. I got this one on level 5 spice and wasn't spicy to me. Difficult review. The food is very good with absolutely no complaints there. However outside of the food, a very bland and mediocre dining experience at best. The people behind the counter didn't seem engaged. It's kind of how imagine how waiters would act in the old Soviet Union in a restaurant. They wouldn't be there if they didn't have to be. It just felt socialistic with a creepy vibe to it. There were two other patrons there and they just looked like Sims characters out of the video game. This restaurant is tucked away behind one of these new Soviet style apartment complexes where I guess the point is to have the tenants eat there. I don't know if this is the new hip trend in restaurant design but it feels creepy. I have no complaints about the food but there was little there to make me want to return. Average. read more

For starters I love Thai food and it's my favorite cuisine. I was surprised there was a Thai restaurant that was actually pretty decent nearby my house. I wouldn't say it was the best Thai food I ever had but it definitely satisfied my cravings. You order upfront at the register so there isn't much service going around. The lady there still dropped our food off with water and offered to take our dirty dish out of the way. The restaurant was pretty chill, nothing fancy, but nice for a quick dine in and leave.
