Spent 2 hours in this place waiting for my wife to get a French tip done, the first lady filed her nails so uneven that they all had different angles. After an hour of trying to get an almond shape, she moved onto trying the white tip, and this is where things went downhill. Tina couldn't get the shape thin enough after 10 tries on my wife's pinky and we asked if they had someone there who could do a French tip. She shook her head like they are all inexperienced at doing nails correctly. I listened to my wife scream about how f-ed up her nails are and how even down to the color of the bubble bath pink Tina put on has one coat on her left hand and 2 on her right hand. 2 hours of hell, we aren't coming back. read more

I hate to bash on small businesses but this place was so awful. They seated us right away for two mani/pedi, and the entire time felt rushed. We were out of there in less than an hour. One of the ladies was watching a video on her phone while doing nails. My feet were barely soaked, scrubbed, or massaged. When it came to putting hot towels around my legs they used one -- for both legs. The lady doing my nails turned off my massage chair. They had so many choices for nail colors and when I picked one they told me they didn't have it. My toe nails weren't shaped at all. They didn't want to talk to us, when we asked questions they didn't respond. When getting seated they didn't help me get in my chair or move their tools out of the way. They did not help us put our shoes back on when they were done. Their tools were not sterilized either. It's so hard to find nice nail salons and we stumbled upon this one, would NOT recommend. $128 for two mani/pedi one with gel. read more

I have acrylic nails and I always get a regular manicure because of my cuticles and that's about all they do in the regular manicure anyway I had to feel and it was thick and they were lifting at the time. I spoke to Lynn about it right after she did, my nails. She is one of the owners and she pretty much blew me off. Came in about a week later I talked to Tami, her sister. Tami offered to redo it for $20 but I don't think I should pay after paying so much money and being unsatisfied at the time. I shouldn't have paid them at the time and made them do it over. I'm not going back and they lost a loyal over two decades customer. read more

The manicure felt very rushed & the hand massage was literally one swipe of lotion. The tech didn't speak to me at all. The finished product looks messy and has tiny bubbles throughout . I have been coming here for years. In October I got a Pedicure and even though I didn't have gel on my nails the lady proceeded to Dremel my nails. I stopped her and asked why she was doing that and she said she was taking my polish off and smoothing out my nails. Well my little toe nail was so thin it came off in a few days and my big toe nail that she dremeled is so thin it will not grow and is jagged and thin. Not sure why they have to Dremel the nails if there is no gel on them, but they have ruined my nails. I called Richard to inform him of what was going on, but todate no response. My little toe nail came off on Thanksgiving and it still hasn't grown back. Please inform your people not to Dremel natural nails. read more

I've been coming here for 6 years! All the staff are kind, the owners are wonderful, and it's a relaxing and casual atmosphere. They have every color and nail art you could ever think of. DISCLAIMER: I've seen Thuy (Lynn) twice for gelX fills with exceptional work 10/10. The facility is spacious, clean, and offer plenty of services with amazing technicians 10/10. This review is specifically for Kim and detail design. I provided pictures below of my inspo pic + what I received. First, I asked for Lynn and was told "yes Lynn could do your GelX fill". I got Kim for the first time. I showed her my design and she said she could do that. After trial and error with the black tips a few times and asking her to fill in the spots that were transparent I gave up after a certain amount of time. If it's a blocked color I'm sure it'd be fine but for design I wouldn't recommend. I just wish if the design couldnt be done properly please tell the client. I know black can be hard to do clean lines on, but I'd rather wait for someone who knows how to do a clean design than pay for uneven lines and patchy black polish. read more

Posting this as a reminder to myself to either make an appointment with a really good nail tech or go somewhere else. I go here all the time...it's usually ok. I just spent close to $100 on biogel mani and regular pedi. It's not good. The nails are bumpy. And the mani was very very uncomfortable. Painful. Too much cutting and the light burned. The filing with the drill burned. Ugh. I just hated it. Not relaxing. And I hate when they try to do oh nails and I can't relax for pedi. Not a great experience for me. And the pedi. Is sloppy. Needs a top coat. I want the big toes to be perfect. And not messy. Also, I'm sure I'll go back. Lol. Because it's my neighborhood salon and the people are so nice. read more

Then went back for acrylic nails and they weren't even applied right. Lots of glue to fill between acrylic nail and natural nail. The worst! Don't go there! read more

Ok, 2 days ago I had a really bad experience with the person that did my nails they looked awful. And I left without saying anything. After I cool down I decided to go back and show the manager my nails. He immediately sat me down with one of his best technicians. Well at least I think she's the best. And she fixed everything I can't even believe my nails look like The ones I see on Instagram. I'm so happy and I am so thankful that they turn this experience around for me. i've been a loyal customer since 2021, usually satisfied with the sets i get. today i came in for an acrylic fill, no gel ($38 on their website). my lady not only hurt me multiple times while drilling and filing my nails, but then charged me $80 initially. i was expecting to pay no more than $50-60, because i also got chrome (extra $10). so when i asked why $80, she said because of the chrome (which i expected), the french tip (which i have NEVER been charged for) and for the length (which i ALSO have never been charged for). she also said something about enhancing or deluxe something, which i had no idea she was doing to my nails, therefore adding to the total cost. i told her that i've never been charged for french tip or length at this salon, so she took $5 off. even so, $75 for a mediocre (at best) set is INSANE and it's safe to say i will NEVER be going back. she did me so dirty with the cost, the nails aren't even that well done, she hurt my nails and cuticles, and to top it all off was rude. never going back. read more

Also my cuticles weren't cleaned up (see photos) taken immediately after service, got oils on my clothes, the "hot towels" is them wiping the lotion of with them. I thought I would at least get the sensation of relaxing with a hot towel wrapped around my legs but nope. And the "massage" is them lightly rubbing lotion on you. No massage. I do not recommend this salon. Nail tech displayed sloppy workmanship and lacked attention to detail. I selected a pink nail color to replace the black polish I currently had on my toes. She didn't remove the black polish entirely and proceeded to paint pink gel on top. After I left, I noticed several toes looked dingy. Returned to the salon, the manager offered to correct the mistake but I didn't have time for a re-do. I requested a refund and will not be returning. I just moved to this neighborhood & wanted to find a local nail salon. Luckily, I noticed Tulip nails when I was next door at Five 07 Cafe over the weekend. I called Tulip today (a little late ~6:20pm) to see when they closed and when they take their final appointment. They were happy to take me around 6:30. Kim was my manicurist and I was able to find the exact color dip powder I wanted (they have SOO many to choose from- my favorites are the Kiara Sky light pink colors). I chose #524 (Chit Chat- a light white / pink color). Kim was very friendly, paid attention to detail and did a great job on my nails! She told me she has been employed there since the salon opened in 2000. In my opinion, that's rare to find seeing as many nail salons seem to have a high employee turn over rate. I was happily surprised that they include cleaning up the cuticles with all manicures, including the dip powder manicures (without adding an extra $5+ onto your total like many other local salons)! Sometimes, at the end of the day as a last appointment/ customer, I have experienced some salons rushing to do your nails so they can leave, but I didn't get that feeling from any of the employees at this salon. The owner was very friendly and thanked me for coming to their salon. I will definitely be back & am happy giving my business to their salon! read more
