I was warmly greeted by not one, but two of the kindest and sweetest receptionists as soon as I walked through the door. They checked me in via iPad on their desk kiosk, brought me water, and had me wait until I was introduced to the MOST AMAZING massage therapist, Lydia!!!! She has magic hands for sure!!! I had a really stressful week at work and I explained to her how much pain and ache I was feeling and after I left the spa. It was night and day! She explained to me different at-home Methods to try and alleviate my aches and pains, such as using a heating pad for 20 min before bed to help with tension. The spa is located on the 2nd level right as you enter the parking lot of the stomping grounds. I'm not sure if they have lockers and a changing room But they have a beautiful outdoor table to relax and sip drinks or water with gal pals or your SO. I also had a chance to meet the owner - Brittany (spelling might be wrong) but the entire experience from start to finish was equal to a five star luxury hotel spa but way more down to earth with extremely caring staff. They are amazing!!! Totally worth the splurge and I will definitely be spreading the word about how amazing their customer service and quality staff/therapists go above and beyond - that extra mile makes all the difference!!! Just finished up my first ever massage treatment here. I say first, because I will definitely be coming back! First off, you've got to love the vibe of this place. The aesthetic, the music, and even the aromatics set the scene so well. Chill vibes all around. Definitely the best massage I have ever had! Instead of checking boxes like at a lot of other massage places, they speak to you about *why* you are coming in and what you want to get out of your treatment. Shonda (my masseuse) was very receptive and did an excellent job. I've had a lot of massages where there were some torturous parts thrown in unexpectedly, but there was none of that here! It was very relaxing the whole way through, and really helped to work out a lot of the tension in my back and hips. She even gave me a small recap about problem areas and what I need in the future. Afterwards I got to experience a salt treatment in a sauna-type space, which I had never experienced before. They say it is great for breathing, the joints, and the pores. One small downside is that they do not have any slippers or shoes for moving between sessions. So come prepared to put your shoes back on. Overall a great experience. This isn't a fun review to write -This was quite possibly the worst massage I've had in my life. I had booked an hour massage and a 30 min head massage. The check in person and the massage therapist were lovely so no issue there. The massage itself? WOW -I had no idea I was signing up for an acupressure session? Over 75% of the hour massage was acupressure points -very literal actual massage. Look, I get that people want to have that sort of experience or reiki, fine...but when she asked me what I hoped to get out of the session, I simply said to relax -I wasn't informed that I was going to pay someone to just push on acupressure points -I could have gotten the same, and a lot less expensive, somewhere else. Now on to the head massage-literally nothing happened. She just pressed on various spots on my face after lightly massaging the top of my scalp. Then she sprayed my face with a mist without telling me beforehand, thus JOLTING me out of my partial slumber. For $75 dollars I could have gone to the galleria mall and had someone do that for $25. Buyer beware. This is what I get for not booking my usual massage at Milk & Honey. Lesson learned. I understand that I could have shared this with the person at the front who checked me out however, I had somewhere to be and didn't have time for a back and forth. read more

The extended head & neck massage with Dionne is 10/10 AMAZING. I workout and lift weights regularly so I have a lot of tension, especially around my neck and shoulders, and she knows what to do to alleviate it and get me back to feeling normal! read more

The front desk staff is unfriendly and unwelcoming. I also had issues when talking on the phone with them. If I didn't have a gift card here, I would have not come. This was a gift from my hubby. Pauline did my relaxation massage it was so good, but a little different then what I am used to. She focuses one entire side of your body. Left leg, left arm, left hand, left foot, etc. Head, neck, different, but I liked it. It would have to be a gift for me because prices for a 90min massage are above $200. I usually pay under $100 for a 90 min massage and with stones. No stones here. read more

A fabulous place to escape to and be pampered. I normally leave it up to the expert as to what treatment I will be receiving. They always know what is best for my skin. If I have issues, I point them out prior to the start of the treatment. I am always more relaxed during and when I leave than I was entering the treatment room. Please experience the vibe. You will LOVE IT! Also ask what products they are using on your face and they will be happy to recommend products for use at home. These products may seem pricey; however, they last an incredibly long time when used as directed! Too much is TOO MUCH. You can overuse products. I went in for a hydrafacial yesterday. It said it would be 60 minutes at LEAST, but it seemed to be cut very short. It started at around 4:55 and ended at 5:25. That's half of the time I paid for. They had on their site that if you got a hydrafacial, you would get 50 units for free of Dysport. I looked into it and wanted to give it a try and of course since it was free I wanted to take advantage of that. In the memo of my appointment, to the two girls at the front, and during my consultation with the nurse who did my injections I specified I ONLY want 50 units as is included with the special. I went in today for my Dysport appointment, and after I was done I was told I could save $20. I was confused as it should've been free with my previous facial. When I went to the front they wanted to charge me $395. Apparently I was given double what I asked for even after being very clear I only wanted the 50 units. Even if I did want double, half of the price should've been shaved off since I had the 50 free. Do not go here as they will clearly try to suck out as much money from you as possible. read more

The service was great, but the pricing was on par with spas that have actual relaxation rooms/services. I expected for a price they would have the steam room/sauna/relaxation lounges. Instead it is just a normal waiting room with chairs. The massage wasn't any better than other ones in the area with costs that are about 30% lower. read more

I was looking for a luxurious but not over the top or over priced spa experience in Houston for me and 2 friends. I came across Tulum Wellness Spa and decided to try it out. It's located in a fun, developing area of town so it was easy to grab a bite to eat before we headed over. The environment upon entering feels elegant and luxurious but also true to the "Tulum" vibe. It is not the Four Seasons but we were not looking for that. The ladies there were VERY welcoming and helpful. We were promptly escorted to our respective rooms to change into robes, etc. Our 2 massage therapists were Jeffrey and Daniel and they were both outstanding. We also had a wonderful facial experience with their aesthetician and she made some great skin care recommendations. We ended our visit with a little time in the salt room and overall felt very pampered! It is a great local gem with a niche market and we will certainly be back for more. The one thing I would mention is that I had a peel of some sort during my facial that I did not realize would be an extra charge so I would be sure to inquire about that.. or encourage them to let clients know what might be an additional charge.
