Scheduled appointment to do full legs laser hair removal. Arrived to appointment only to find out that I am unable to get the service I made an appointment for 50% off. Instead I'm told that in order to get 50% off laser hair removal, I would need to buy the full package in order to receive the promotion. No where does it list a disclaimer that the promotion is only valid on a full package. If I could give this place zero stars I would. The management is so unprofessional. Specifically Macy. Zero respect, zero empathy, zero integrity. They have you sign up for a membership and don't explain anything to you. I read all the fine print and no where did it say it was a contract. Also, in the membership you get UNLIMITED neurotoxins. They charged me for November but refused me service because for some reason it showed I disputed the charge when I didn't. I showed countless proof that I didn't, yet they still denied me service. They said "well you got Botox November 6th." YES BECAUSE ITS UNLIMITED BOTOX!!! I hadn't gotten my services for October yet so I got them November 6th. My monthly charge date was the 17th of every month. After they kept denying me my services for November, I obviously put a stop charge from them. Now, they refuse to refund me because I didn't let them charge me for December. How was I supposed to know they wouldn't just take more money from me and deny me services again? Of course I wasn't going to pay for another month. Their business practices are horrible. They steal your money. They stole $300 from me and I am a domestic violence survivor raising a 5 month old on my own. My advice- go somewhere else. All this place cares about is money and getting you signed up. The unlimited Botox isn't unlimited- they let you get it and then when you try to go back 2 months later for a touch up they give you a hard time. Also, their staff talks about drug use with you. It's highly highly unprofessional. I had high hopes for this place but sadly was let down. All they had to do was the right thing and refund my money. I wanted to update my review. A year later and there was never a resolution to my issue with it's a secret. I had to go to a dermatologist and have multiple treatments to get these scope injector scar bumps removed from my face as I looked like Frankenstein that they caused. Corporate never resolve the issue, they never for filled their promise on correcting the injector marks on my face, and I will never be back. I noticed that there are several other one star reviews talking about the bad injectors as well as the terrible customer service. It is also not lost on me that all of the majority of the recent five star reviews are from people with only one review or two reviews and not actual verified users. It looks like this place is putting in fake reviews so that they can maintain an overall good star rating (this is against yelp terms of service) within yelp and deceive more people... I have been to this place a number of times, both to get treatments (botox and fillers) and for followups and corrections. My review is based on pretty much every time I went something going wrong, and the willingness of the clinic to correct it. The first time (ever) I had botox and fillers was here. The botox made my eyelids really droopy so I looked tired and angry for several months. I went back THREE times for 'corrections' but no change. The fillers were also placed wrong, especially one above my nasal fold which pushed the skin across the top lip and left a wrinkle there which, again, could not be corrected. Then the whole cheek sagged and I had to go yet again for correction. The staff change all the time. Some were OK, some were bad, every time I went there were different staff. I was pleased with the second-last correction although the woman said 'oh it looks like it was placed in the wrong area before' - and of course it cost me a thousand dollars or so to fix... Skip forward to the final time I went. I opted for botox in my forehead and around the eyes (which came out fine) and masseter muscle botox. I suffer from TMJ and can't open my mouth much so I asked whether the masseter botox would definitely help with the pain plus jaw opening range, plus possibly slim down my jawline. I was told yes - definitely. This was months ago. Since then I haven't noticed any slimming of my jaw, I still have pain, I haven't been able to open my mouth any wider whatsoever and, worse still, the left side of my mouth/lower cheek were frozen for about 5 weeks! I contacted the clinic who were closed (due to Covid) but said to send photos and someone would be in touch. This didn't happen so I reached out again and was told the same thing. The last thing I heard was on May 13, 2020, when I was informed they would have someone from Corporate reach out to me. Well guess what, it's now July 15, and that never happened. The frozen appearance (which gave me a lopsided smile and make me look like I'd had a stroke) wore off eventually. What upsets me most though is I paid for these treatments using Care Credit and am STILL PAYING THE COST OF THIS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the only medical spa I have ever been to in my life, so I don't have anything to compare it with, but I will not be going back and I am also looking into the possibility of canceling my remaining debt, since I am still paying off something that never worked and was never fixed. And nobody ever got back to me either. Fair enough, Covid happened, but they could still have emailed or called, like I was promised they would. read more

I've gone 3 times over the span of 2 years and this last time it was horrible. my lips are permanently damaged, black bruise, extreme peeling, and extreme dryness. when I asked them about it , they said it was sunburn lol, I've religiously used spf chapstick and aloe Vera after sun gel and ur has not helped which leads me to believe they just said that to dismiss accountability. The spa & check in was very welcoming as well as my nurse, De'Asya. She made me feel at ease about my anxieties as I was new to the entire experience. Takoya did my filler in my lips and smile lines and I am SO HAPPY. I already had a full syringe in my lips and I wanted more to create a more defined top lip. Takoya did exactly what I wanted! I have a way more defined top lip! Takoya looked at my facial features and determined how much filler i could add to my lips. I like my lips to be full but didn't want them to look crazy . I also got Kybella done for my double chin which I was very nervous about getting done. Takoya was very comforting and was able to ease my nerves through the whole process and went over after care and everything with me! Hey all so purchased the membership here at Secret Med Spa in March of this year. I canceled it this month so basically didn't have this amazing long enough to get hyped about it. When I purchased this membership it clearly says UNLIMITED BOTOX/DYSPORT not only come every other month. So me knowing that it was unlimited I took full advantage of it because I thought when it says unlimited it's means unlimited. I got my forehead, crows feet, 11's, Daos, and chin done and I still had movement on my forehead so I went back this month in May and was told by my injector that she doesn't feel comfortable injecting me today and had asked other injections to verify with her. I'm beyond pissed and it's false advertising because I also asked for my jelly rolls to be done along with my lip flip and nope nothing was done. When I'm paying $299.00 a month for something that says unlimited I expect unlimited. And if it's not unlimited then the flyer needs to says that. Even if she couldn't do my forehead which pissed me off she never even did my lips. I canceled my membership and went somewhere else immediately and my new injector injected me with dysport on my forehead and couldn't be happier with the FROZEN results that I had wanted with Secret Med Spa. I did do the skin tightening on my neck and did the hydrafacial which was good but damn I had to take advantage of some perks that I'm paying for. Paid $900.00 for nothing pretty much. Super disappointed in this company and will not refer another person to go there. I will be letting my co worker know about this situation because she is going or already bought the membership and if she did I will ask her to cancel as well because it's not worth it nor the money and the let downs. read more

Not sure what's going on with this spa but this is the second time I get charged wrong. I called and asked if I could use my CareCredit. They said yes whenever I received my services, I was told in order to use my CareCredit I could not get the promotions, which that was the whole reason I went in, then I go back for my two week touchup and my bank card is charged instead of my CareCredit I will not be going back to this spa. Went in for a hydra facial, for which I had a gift certificate, besides the fact that they could not figure out the amount that was on the gift card, they also charged my credit card for the service too. Went in to fix the mistake, called in several times, but still no refund and it's been a month. The manager was supposed to contact me, but of course, she never did. Looks like this is not the first time happening either, based on the reviews. Don't go there, horrible customer services. I'll be disputing the charge with the cc company cause otherwise it looks like they are not willing to fix their own mistakes. read more

I am such a fan of temporary fillers for my lips, today was my first time going to this med spa, I have went once before to different place and did not quite have the same experience.
