    Fried tofu
    Desiree F.

I had this spot on my radar for some time now and finally got the opportunity to go. I was able to find parking nearby and was greeted by Kevin. I called him the hardest working man because not only did he serve us perfectly, he was taking orders over the phone and doing the take out. This place is BYOB and we ordered a plethora of things. For appetizers we had dumplings, spring rolls, and fried tofu. I liked the dumplings even though a little cold and the spring rolls were good. Wasn't a fan of the tofu though. For an entrée I had the vegetable drunken noodle which was tasty. My friend enjoyed all of his food as well. I will definitely be back.

Papaya salad like a fruit salad. Not Thai papaya salad.

Not legit thai food. I've tried this place many many years ago and it was definitely not Thai food. Got take out and was really disappointed that its still American Chinese food catfishing me as thai food. The biggest give away was the papaya salad had ripe papaya in it!!! The curry puff was the boiled potatoes with curry powder seasoning in wonton skin. The drunken noodles was spicy chow fun. The Thai chili chicken broccoli was, you guessed!!!! Spicy chicken and broccoli. I hate being a jerk during this pandemic but don't be trying to be like Ong bak when you're Kung Fu hustle. They should try to make legit thai food. It's 2020, there's youtube and tiktok!!! Should have been 1 stars but I didn't get sick.

Me and my husband will definetly return! The crab ragoons were AMAZING! The tumyum soul was also really really good. Pineapple fried rice and mang chicken was out of this world...my taste buds were having a blast. The pad Thai was good too but I got extra peanuts ! It's byob and was very reasonably priced.

So I've been here before but I guess just writing a review now. Had late lunch the other day. Lunch specials are until 3pm ... so I was bummed when I had just missed it Parking is street and scarce at times Inside is ok. Not many people inside at that time since it was a weekday which I liked . I ordered Tom Kha soup which was flavorful. I also ordered the green curry and it was a pretty large size- came with side of rice . Also flavorful although I would have liked the sauce a less "liquidy" I can't remember what I got before but I wouldn't mind coming back to check out some other options

Im so disapointed in this restaurant. I ordered the pad see ewe with chicken and there is NO flavor. Its the oddest thing. The chicken seems breaded and then stir fried, nothing like stir fried thai noodles. The only broccoli in my dish was stems chopped up... This is my second time ordering. The first time i figuered they were having a bad day or something. What a waste of money, beyond dissatisfied.

A local restaurant that we have been meaning to try. The shrimp pad Thai was not to my liking. The taste was not enjoyable.

Fresh and Sumptuous Vietnamese Food in Downtown Millburn!…read more We came to Saigon Cafe in the downtown area for an early dinner on a Friday evening. They have a few tables outdoors and some seating inside. When we arrived around 6 PM, the place was just starting to get busy, but it was completely packed by the time we stepped out around 7 PM. The food here is fresh and really sumptuous. Honestly, they serve some of the best pho we have ever had. The bone broths used in the soup are incredibly flavorful and feel freshly made. Here is what we ordered: * Fresh Spring Rolls: We started with the shrimp spring rolls, which were decent. * Chicken Pho: My wife got this, and it was awesome. * Special Beef Pho: I ordered this one, and it was very flavorful and tasty. The meat quality was absolutely fantastic. * Grilled Meat Pao: My sister got this with chicken and fresh veggies, and she really enjoyed it. On top of the excellent food, their staff was very friendly throughout our meal. I highly recommend checking this spot out, just be sure to get there early on the weekend since it fills up fast!

The short rib is consistently tender and flavorful, and the six-minute egg is perfectly soft with just the right amount of richness. I'll definitely be back--again and again.

Ani Ramen House's Cranford location is on the corner of Walnut and Chestnut on the ground floor of…read morethe apartments at The Albero. The main entrance is next to the kitchen, which is designed for food delivery and takeout operations. The L-shaped dining room wraps around the kitchen and offers an impressive amount of seating for 80 people with ample natural lighting. The interior decor follows the same rigid industrial wood and metal aesthetic that almost every new hipstery restaurant chain has subscribed to for the past decade. In case you've forgotten that ramen is Japanese, you'll also see neon signs on the walls illuminating some common Japanese phrases (although without furigana). Two gendered restrooms are located left of the kitchen in the far corner of the building and each have two stalls and one sink. I ordered the Tokyo Shoyu Ramen with a side of Chili Charred Brussels for takeout. I placed the order 30 minutes in advance and it was ready at the scheduled pickup time. The Chili Charred Brussels were about five halved sprouts that were steamed and lightly sauteed with a light sprinkling of mustard greens and pepper flakes. I actually enjoyed these more than the ramen I ordered, but they did not have much noticeable charring (or the caramelization that comes with charring). I had a very difficult time enjoying the Tokyo Shoyu Ramen, which is the first item on the ramen menu. The dry ingredients are packaged in the main serving bowl and the broth in a separate plastic takeout container for you to combine yourself. The main attraction of the Tokyo Shoyu Ramen is the three massive slabs of braised pork, which did not disappoint. I tried some of dry ingredients first before drowning them in liquid, although I could not find any bean sprouts. The noodles were slightly undercooked, possibly to compensate for the hot broth. Everything kind of went downhill after I added the shoyu broth. Although the shoyu did impart flavor to the meat and ramen, it was so overwhelmingly salty that it was completely undrinkable by itself. After finishing the noodles, I felt like I was sipping boiled dipping sauce. If chicken broth was in the mix, I certainly couldn't taste it. This is particularly concerning because half of the ramen menu contains this same shoyu tare, and will most likely be too overpowering for most people. In retrospect, I should have ordered the brothless mazemen ramen. The food preparation, while adequate, seemed a bit rushed based on what I ate. Perhaps 30 minutes was not enough lead time for the kitchen, or perhaps this is just how Ani Ramen makes its food. While I appreciate that Ani has helped make ramen more accessible in Central Jersey, it's probably not my first choice for ramen or any of the eclectic side dishes on the menu, e.g. brussels sprouts, kimchi, and gua bao (none of which are Japanese).
