We just made a large order to be delivered. The scallion pancakes which we love but did not order were disgusting. They were heavy, thick and soaked in grease. They were brown and came with the wrong sauce. We sent them back.For some reason they took the order as scallion pancakes with peanut sauce! They sent us a plastic sealed bag of noodles and no cold sesame/peanut sauce. The crab rangoon was so salty that it was inedible. The steamed veggie dumplings had an extremely dense doughy pocket with barely cooked cabbage inside. Again, wrong sauce. The veggie mu shu would have been ok but the pancakes to wrap it in were thick, not fresh, hard around the edges. The chicken and broccoli was good, the mini veg spring rolls were not bad but also too much dough, not crispy and sparsely filled. What a disappointment! We ordered all our favorites and won't EVER order from them again. Maybe the reason the order came so quickly is that everything is precooked and not to order. Buyer beware! Yuck! read more

Always loved this place for a long time. There food is always amazing and I know they care about cleanliness and flavor! They always have great customer service and give freebies! I wasn't planning on making a review bc it's generally known in Union how great Double Dragon is, but I had to when I received a free knee pillow as a New Years present! You can really tell they care about their customers when they do stuff like this. What other Chinese food place does this? Not gonna lie I thought it was weird at first but my cousin's bf posted it on the Union forum and about 10 people replied saying they also got one! Driving by, we saw this Chinese Restaurant along Morris Ave., Union. We ordered their Special Lunch. Shredded Pork w/black bean sauce and Chicken with broccoli. Special Lunch include Soup, rice, Hot Tea. Serving is average and priced moderately. Have few tables for dine in and long counter with bar stools. Order takes awhile, they cook it from scratch. Food is delicious and cooked well fresh. Food is just regular Chinese for American taste buds. Not fancy. Nothing special or out of extra ordinary. They moved to this new location from Footlocker strip mall about a mile away. They have neutral gender bathroom. No changing table. If you're in the area, on a tight budget, starving and craving for Chinese food. Try to drop by and pick up your fave Chinese food. read more

Ordered from here tonight, not my first time but definitely my last. The man that delivered our food was very aggressive, he yelled at me because I was unable to tip him. I did not have any cash on me. He would not leave my porch despite me closing the door and continued yelling outside. Then got in his car and repeatedly honked his horn before leaving. Just moved to Union and I was recommended this place for good Chinese food. We ordered General Tso Chicken with fried rice, half a chicken with pork fried rice, and an order of chicken wings . We were so disappointed with our order. The fried rice was parboiled rice. I've never seen a Chinese restaurant cook parboiled fried rice instead of authentic fresh rice. It tastes so artificial like box microwaved rice. Then to add insult to injury the "fried rice" was missing the usual onions, bean sprouts, scallions, and FLAVOR! At least if didn't like the rice and it was made traditionally some soy sauce would help. No amount of soy sauce could make this better. read more

This is our favorite Chinese place in the area and we have tried a lot. The food is fresh and delicious, but even better, the woman who takes the order is SO nice and patient. To those complaining about not being able to tip In cash, it was explained they are trying to do contactless delivery for the health and safety of customer and delivery driver due to the rise in Covid cases again. People, have some compassion. This place is awesome and we will continue to order from them and support a great local business. read more

Double Dragon offers pretty good Chinese takeout. They have their own parking lot, and are right off US-22 (Exit 82W)--next to a Delta gas station. Inside, there are a of couple tables, and some window seating. Special Lo Mein (Qt.: $9.75): I'm satisfied with the lo mein. From what I tasted, the chewiness of the noodles was just right, flavorful (and far less salty than other places), and a good ratio of roast pork and seafood. The large box is $9.75 and definitely packed; the portions are generous. There weren't that many vegetables, but I'm fine with it. Bean Curd Home Style ($8.15): I liked this a lot, actually. The fried tofu is basically "tofu skin"--each piece has a bit of "crisp" texture to it, but the middle is airy. The sauce the tofu and vegetables are tossed in is spicy (mild). I also ordered boneless spareribs (Pt.: $6.75), but I did not try it as it was for someone else. There was a "Double Dragon" takeout restaurant on the corner of Morris and Salem about a year ago, but I am not entirely sure if this is the same one but at a new location. 3/5 for now, but I'll be back to try order their Cantonese noodle soups. read more

I've ordered from here on multiple occasions the food is mediocre nothing special but its better than the other Chinese food spots in the area and I spend at least 70 dollars each time I've ordered to feed a family of four. On 11-13-21 I placed a 95 dollar delivery order when the delivery driver arrived he was given a 100 dollar bill, was told thank you and please keep the change, the delivery driver who happens to be the owner, became angry and yelled TEN PERCENT!! I absolutely love the food here. I've been ordering here for YEARS. I've never had an issue here. My father has in the past, but that doesn't take away from the quality of the food here. I order from here not that often but when I'm in the mood for good chinese food, this is my go to...UNTIL TODAY. I ordered for myself and I chose to order on my debit card and leave a cash tip when he arrived. SHE TOLD ME NO and that they couldn't deliver unless I tipped on the card. Alright, standard takeout fare. The lunch specials are a ton of food for an incredibly good price, but the food itself is meh... it's low-average.. Their soup is pretty bad though. Tried this place for the first time for lunch and was pretty impressed. Delivery was pretty quick. We had a few combination platters. Chicken and broccoli was pretty good, as well as the general tso. The general tso wasn't very spicy but I'm sure next time I order I would ask in advance if they can make it a little bit spicy. We also had beef lo mein which was pretty good - reminded me of a place we go to in Chinatown- and boneless spare rib apps. Is it authentic chinese cooking? No - but you know what kind of food you want when you order food like this. It's exactly what I want when I want "Americanized" chinese food. They don't give out fortune cookies, but instead include tea or fried wontons (which are delicious - it has a bit of a curry taste to them). So we call the place and the lady is screaming into the phone. She had the worst attitude over the phone. That just made me not want to order from here but there were good reviews so we tried it out. Great Chinese take out (haven't ordered delivery yet). We've eaten here quite a few times recently. The food is good, vegetables fresh, and there are always leftovers. General Tso, dumplings, eggrolls, vegetable soup (with choice of noodles, try the green bean noodles!), szechuan chicken, and steamed vegetable dishes are some of what we've had with no complaints at all. If I could change anything, it would be that they open up the back for customers to sit down and grab a quick bite. Ok, this is my families go to Chinese food spot. Food usually delivers quickly. They are friendly when they answer the phone and take orders. I recently discovered their lo mein. As far as Chinese food goes, I think you could get WAY better. We used to order from here regularly a few years back but when we found a better place, we jumped ship. We didn't realize what we were missing! We were forced to order from here one night recently when our usual place wasn't open. We were sooooooo disappointed to the point where we didn't even finish our meals and threw them out. Their food is heavy, VERY greasy and flavorless. The food here is pretty consistent with standard American Chinese food. My boyfriend and I have been ordering here for about a year and they're always consistent. Food comes quickly and my order is always correct. They always throw in some free fried curry wontons when you order 2 combos! Only bad thing is the parking. We ordered takeout. Chicken broccoli was good and came with a good portion of brown rice. My husband ordered salt and pepper shrimp, which was not on the menu, but he had asked if they make it. They said they did. His shrimp came with the shells on them, overlooked, and stringy. The meal was not prepared correctly and it was soggy. He ended up throwing it away and splitting my chicken broccoli with me. Note to self- do not order something that's not on the menu. Will not be returning here. read more

I ordered the General Tso Chicken, it was so dry they cooked the life out of it. I found it I could not even eat it. I called to complain and instead of trying to correct the issue they told me that it was the way it was supposed to be cooked. I love General Tso Chicken, it is my go to item to order most times when I get Chinese food. I have has some excellent General Tso but this by far is the worst I have ever had. THe food is great, there is a 10 dollar minimum charge for delivery which is one dollar. THe service however, is the reason I kick myself every time I order from here. The staff is short, curt, and all together less than friendly. Most of this, I assume, is due to extremely heavy demand and so they are in a terrible rush to get you off the phone while you are ordering. Once again though, the food is delicious. Have ordered from this place at least 25x & on only 2 ocassions did they mess up the order(both times forgetting to give us rice but both times sending the driver back to bring it); otherwise, everything we've ordered has always been good including fried dumplings, wontons, egg drop, corn chowder, spring rolls, shrimp w/lobster sauce(xlg & perfectly cleaned), shrimp chow mein, mei fun, sesame chicken(soft & juicy not not dry/stringy like most places). Orders always arrive within the given time frame, always a polite thank-you from the delivery person & for less than $30(incl tip) you get leftovers **NOTE** Disregard Debony's "too far" claim it's about 100 feet(45 secs) to go from pkg lot to place which is closer than any place in a strip mall--sounds like someone never walks--lol. read more

I ordered take out tonight as I do often and it so happens this time I couldn't give a tip. With a pandemic going on and me losing my job, this was my only meal for the night. After going outside and grabbing my food from the driver, he asked for a tip (I use to do delivery and never did I once ask for a tip) and I politely told him sorry I would get him next time. He then proceeded to mumble cuss words at me and refer to me as garbage because I couldn't tip him. I called the store and was told that I am OBLIGATED to tip because delivery is free. (How can it be free when you are obligating people to tip? Why not just include it in the price?) After going back and forth with the woman on the phone she finally apologized for the driver cussing at me but kept persisting that I must tip next time. They just lost a frequent customer and I wouldn't suggest anyone in town to order from here, you should treat you're customers with more respect, if you can't pay you're drivers per delivery then you shouldn't offer a delivery service. read more
