Celebrating Father's Day with family and friends. We all had a great meals along with a lot of fun and laughter. Food and service did not disappoint. Father day menu was limited but we were grateful that they were also serving from the bunch and regular menu. Great portion on the fried pickles , the burgers were huge as well as their bbq fried chicken sandwich. The father day special of the skinny dad bod was still enough for 2 meals. Glad they ate close to home as we do love their food and switch up of their menu from Time to time

This is a surprisingly good find as we were traveling from New Hampshire to Massachusetts. First, the decor. The interior is very warm and inviting. Reminds me of a cross between a Texas Roadhouse, a smokehouse, a cozy barn, and a farm. The service is attentive but not overly doting. The menu is expansive and portion sizes are generous, but the quality is what's compelling here. I like all of their smokehouse offerings including the slowly-braised short ribs (with mashed and broccoli), the pulled pork, the Mac n cheese with any number of accompaniments, the burger choices are fabulous, the loaded nachos with anything and everything, the Poutine (a Canadian specialty that you can't find just anywhere), their custom pizzas, and several salads (we had an arugula salad with salmon that was grilled to perfection). The beef chili is about the best I've enjoyed in a while, and very worth ordering as a starter or the large bowl as a main course. The Bloody Mary is topped with everything but the kitchen sink. The deserts are worth staying around for, although doubt you'll have enough room, so take the home!

We found this farm to table restaurant and boy was it delicious!! The service was excellent, we went at peak hours and the restaurant was full. Took over an hour for a group of 6 food, but again they were busy and we were in no hurry. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were sat at larger tables in a room alone, this gave us a more comfortable & private dining experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Try anything from the menu, especially the poutine (not pictured, sorry)!

Thought I'd check in here as it's been a while and...bummer. Our waitress was awesome and the scene is great but the food was meh. The brisket was drowning in what tasted like grocery store BBQ sauce, you couldn't taste the meat. Chicken sandwich was huge and pretty good. Good bacon that's an add on. I might get take out here sometime but that's about it. I don't drink but I bet the bar is fun on a weekend.

Great stop for some down-home, meat and potatoes type cooking. Dining outdoors under the tent is always a great experience in the summer, and the service is friendly and attentive. The space has a southern BBQ kind of feel to it and is lively and ideal for a larger group. Inside has your typical barbecue, bar, & grill type. feel to it if you prefer dining indoors. We really enjoyed the brisket, the steak tips, the lobster rolls, fried, asparagus, and the meatloaf. The portions come in two sizes, Gardiner is smaller, and farmer is larger. The larger portions can easily be shared by a couple. The meats are flavorful, wonderful sauces, and the sides complemented the main courses very well. Expect to bring home leftovers, but don't worry they reheat wonderfully.

Vacationers with money (TO SPEND) You WILL see us yearly , so obviously you would try to remember them and treat them accordingly We are not going anywhere we have a cottage on the lake The staff must not be about their money I don't get it Big L for PPP. The bartenders and service staff are always on top of their game and are above average to say the least. The current ownership seems to have the traffic at a higher level than the past, causing much disorganization when things get busy. They could better manage and better serve everyone by having reservations during their heavy rush times. Because they don't, the staff has more work managing the long wait vs. having more time to process table turnover. In addition, they don't take reservations, but they place a RESERVED card of a 6 chair high top every weekend night. I've seen this table empty for hours as customers wait an hour or more in the foyer. If you're looking for a nice sit down dinner during peak dinner hours, there are other options. I'm sure it's a great landing spot for early afternoon dinner. Edit: The owners response on May 15 2026 stating that they allowed reservations was incorrect. As of today, May 22nd, they announced their "New Policies" which were posted on Facebook which states that they are taking reservations which in my opinion will improve the dining experience there.

Great food, slow service, but worth the stop…read more We were a group of five staying nearby and looking for a good local spot to get dinner before settling in. This place popped up with several great reviews, so we gave it a shot. The food definitely delivered! We ordered the sampler (with double chicken tenders and potato skimmers), two orders of mozzarella sticks, and the mac & cheese with ribs. Everything came out hot and packed with flavor. We even got onion rings which we didn't order but were happy to see. Total comfort food and worth the wait. I also had the Painkiller cocktail, which was strong but definitely hit the spot. That said, service was slow across the board. It took a while just to get acknowledged, then more time to get drinks, even more for the food, and the bill took a while too. They were clearly busy, and our server Jen was friendly and attentive when she was with us, but the wait times added up. The atmosphere felt very "homey" kind of like a small town hangout where everyone knows each other. As someone who rocks an afro, I definitely stood out, the place lacked diversity and that was noticeable. Still, we didn't feel unwelcome, just very aware of it. Overall, it's a cozy, homey spot with great food. Just go in knowing it might be a slow-paced experience, especially on a busy night.

Little did we know this was nearly the same meal that we ordered during our last visit until I checked Yelp. I also ordered a Maine Lunch beer while my wife ordered a ginger ale. My chowder came out first. It was absolutely delicious! Our meals came out shortly thereafter. my wife's Panini was huge as were the french fries which I jokingly called potato logs. My baby spinach salad was huge as well. Topped off with a lovely large piece of salmon! It was blackened perfectly! My wife took home half of her sandwich while I devoured my entire salad. This is a great spot. We hope to get back here again before we leave the area! Keep up the great work!

Finally, now that the 'newness' wore off, 4 of us were able to grab a table with ease. There was live music & they post on their Facebook page regularly with updates on food & cocktail specials. We decided on appetizers: nachos w/ chicken, mozzarella sticks & potato skins. The nachos were really good - I liked the chips they used. The mozzarella sticks were a bit underwhelming, similar to frozen ones I've purchased at BJs. The potato skins tasted like they were made in-house. ABOVE & BEYOND MOMENT: Our server, Jackie, was friendly & patient with our requests. I had asked if they could make a spicy margarita. She asked the bartender & they were out of their jalapeno tequila so they asked if it was okay to muddle fresh jalapenos instead. I said I trusted the bartender to do what they thought best. When my margarita was delivered, the Jackie asked if I wouldn't mind tasting it to make sure it wasn't too spicy. I think the fact they custom made the drink & ensured it was to my liking was great. I see mixed reviews about the prices. I honestly found that appetizers averaging about $15 was on the high side. We'd like to go back for dinner, maybe when there isn't live music.
