We always drive by Kelley's and I'm so glad we finally stopped in. I haven't been to Kelley's Row since the early 2010s when they were located in Dover. We came for Friday dinner, and waited about 15 minutes for a table. Our waitress was super friendly and it was fun to see a local spot so cozy and busy. We started off with the potato skins, which were piping hot and delicious. I got the prime rib (delicious and perfectly cooked) and he got the stew (which hit the spot). We both ordered the fish & chips, which were amazing. The batter on the fresh fish was tasty, perfectly crusty, the onion rings were delicious and the cole slaw was good. Our server was very friendly, helpful but not overly attentive, which we like. We enjoyed the atmosphere, some of the older patrons were enjoying themselves, apparently regulars who all knew each other. Great place, we'll return to try other menu items! read more

Friday night and it was packed. There were 6 of us and dinner was served after a little wait but it was all hot and super delicious. Our waitress had running shoes on as she quickly moved from her assigned tables to be sure all was good. Fried chicken with squash and mashed potatoes is a definite must have but the chicken Marsala was awfully good! This restaurant should be on everyone's list. You will not be disappointed! read more

I love this place. The food is always consistent and service is always excellent. The atmosphere could use a facelift but aside from that, I've never been disappointed with my order. Today, I had my go to favorite sandwich, the Millhouse Turkey sub. It's just an outstanding sandwich with real roasted turkey...not deli meat. Speaking of turkey, another great dish is their turkey dinner with all the fixings. Cranberry sauce, stuffing and gravy. It's Thanksgiving on a plate every day. This was my second time trying Kelley's Row. The first time wasn't awesome, just "okay". This time seemed okay as well, until I got sick. Buffalo Chicken Nachos..thought it was weird that the chicken was store bought pre cooked (I call fake chicken) style, but ate it anyways. Poor choice on my end. This was the second visit to this location. It was the same excellent experience. We was met with a smile from the host and was promptly seated. Our waitress Alyssa was prompt with a smile. We all wanted to try something different than the last time so we ordered the Open Face Turkey Dinner, Southern Fried Chicken Dinner, Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla and a Kids fish and chips. We also had a side of rings and fries. Alyssa brought our food out quick and hot as expected. The quesadilla was extra cheesy and the buffalo chicken was spiced right. The chicken in the southern dinner was well seasoned and juicy. The turkey in the dinner was also well seasoned and juicy. The potatoes looked and tasted like they were made in house which is definitely a plus. We all enjoyed our meals as we all left stuffed and content. Alyssa made sure to check on us, just enough, to make sure our needs were met. The restaurant is a little dark with the lights for my liking. I would eat here when I was in the area visiting family. Had a waitress we loved, Shelley. She was always freindly and made sure we were happy with our meals. Never an issue with our orders. Recently was in the area and stopped in for a meal. We asked for Shelley and were told she no longer was there. Boy did we miss her. Waitress was cold, not very interested in us. Food was ok. But boy did we miss the service and friendliness of our favorite waitress. May have to start looking for a new place to eat when we are in the area. read more

Sweet baby Jesus I am stuffed! It took me an hour on Yelp to find a place I was interested in. I finally searched for breakfast and lone and behold Kelly's Row popped up with a picture of delicious looking desert and I was sold. As you can see by the pictures I did not get breakfast... don't think they serve at dinner time. Place was packed! when I got there but it was the tail end of it. Place is bigger than it looks too. When I walked in the main entrance I thought the table top at the front was a place to sit, so when I asked if I could sit at the bar and when the host walked me into the dining room I was blown away. Bar area is small compared to the rest of the building but it has its own vibe to it being tucked away. I could tell there are a lot of locals that pop in for dinner on a Saturday night. The bartender handed the couple next to me a handful of warm butter packets (they come out cold) and said to them something along the lines of "I remembered this time!" I chucked because my family is the same way when it comes yo butter. I started with a bowl of Kelly's Guiness beef stew and a side of sweet potato fries, which was a meal in itself! The beef stew was hearty and exactly what I have been searching for, I can only eat so much chowder and french onion soup lol. A ginormous portion of fries was more than expected and when I finished eating everything I should have called it quits. The couple next to me had ordered the prime rib with double mash potatoes and a pub dip with the house chips.... It. Both. Looked. Mouthwatering. Delicious! Especially the prim rib, such a huge piece! At this point I was ready to order desert and call it a night but seeing their food I decided to dig into my inner fatness and order the meatloaf. Big mistake. Not that it wasn't good, I was too full to really enjoy it. Potatoes and carrots is really what I wanted and they were what I expected, fluffy potatoes with gravy and the carrots had that soft crunch and perfectly seasoned to them. I could have done without the meatloaf, I ordered it honestly because I didn't see anyone reviewing it so wanted to give it a go. When I finished my plate, I do not know how, everyone was joking with me about eating my desert now. I took my carrot cake back to the hotel. I actually wish I didn't because the whipped cream was melting the time I got in so I just devoured it then. It was a one of my top carrot cakes that I have eaten. The drizzle of caramel was a great touch. Happy I found this place last minute. I hope this finds an out of towner traveling through looking fir good home style cooking and a filling meal. read more

Finally ate here this past weekend for the first time, and my only regret is that I wished I had done it sooner. I ordered a quesadilla with taco beef and an order of garlic parmesan fries, while my mom had a pastrami sandwich with the housemade potato chips. Everything was delicious, and while prices were slightly higher than our usual haunts the amount of food we were served made it well worth it. We got a second meal out of our leftovers and it was every bit as good two days later! Service was outstanding as well, and the atmosphere was relaxing. I think I might feel differently about being there on a crowded evening, but I will absolutely be back for lunch! read more

I have never had a bad experience when coming to Kelley's Row. My most recent visit was very pleasant. I came on a Sunday for brunch with my parents to celebrate their 29th wedding anniversary. They are only open until 2 on Sundays, BTW! They had some really great specials; all 3 of us ended up ordering from that. I had the salmon eggs Benedict & they both had prime rib & eggs. My salmon was cooked PERFECTLY & the hollandaise sauce was delicious (hopefully it was homemade). My parents mentioned that their prime rib was juice & cooked to temperature just as they asked. Their bloody Mary's kind of have a thin mix to them, would have liked a little more horseradish, but still good! I would love to come here for Sunday brunch & sit out on the patio next! read more

I had the OMG sandwich which was garlic Texas toast with braised short ribs, mashed potatoes and American cheese (it normally comes with cheddar but I prefer melted American on my sandwich when given a choice) and it came with homemade potato chips but you could upgrade to other items for additional $. We also had the Duffy's Tavern salad that came topped with beef sirloin tips, blue cheese and onion rings, an order of Swedish meatballs, a Rueben sandwich with homemade potato chips, a steak and cheese sandwich with homemade potato chips and a clam strip plate. Finally a decent meal in the Rochester area, This is easily one of my top 3 restaurants in the area. Food is spectacular and the atmosphere is very nice. We called Kelly's Row for a post funeral meal for my grandmother. It being two weeks before Christmas and the season for holiday parties, we expected them to be unable to accommodate us and were so happy when they said they could. The buffet was fantastic and the staff was incredible. They even had a centerpiece of fresh holiday greens on each table.
