The lady that checked me in wasn't so pleasant so that's part of my star bump. Didn't really get that welcome feeling with her when I mentioned I was a Nationwide Member. The locker rooms were easy to access and very cooled down. Men's locker rooms had a middle room for lounging. The towels here are super large (instead of the normal sweat towels). There's one enclosed room with weight machines, and then a larger open room with smith machines, dumbbells, bench, incline, pulley machines, treadmills/ellipticals and a cardio training zone. They also have an outdoor covered astroturf cardio zone. There is a large heated pool, basketball court and separate studio rooms for fitness classes. My only gripe is that front desk lady and the limited benches they have. Otherwise, this is a solid gym option!

Half the games there were no corner field markers. Multiple games at Rogers park the players did not have a bench to sit on. We have played 7/8 games with only one remaining. we had 2 decent refs the rest were not good at all. Ine seemed to have just rolled out of bed and I think he actually only used his voice in the game two times. the rest was barely pointing. He just assumed a bunch of 10 year olds would know exactly what to do. No direction was given. There was never consistency with play calling. one game let's have all the player use high kicks, next game we call every single one. Also, one game a ref yelled at me to "Shut my mouth" when I yelled that the goalie had the ball and the opposing player kept kicking at the ball right next to the goalies head. I didn't yell at the referee or kids. just an observation yell. All of this was sent into Florida Elite. nothing was said about field conditions. the response given about the ref was that he is a child referee. so before making the decision let me point out a few facts: - You are paying a lot of money and I have no idea where the money went. Not tothe field. - If you have a legitimate or complaint it will go nowhere. - If you have a child 17 year old or so referee they are allowed to disrespect parents with no repercussions.

Half the time there aren't even refs. No medal at the end. Not even a tournament to try and get a medal or ribbon. The uniform kit is separate and also insanely expensive. If you do regular rec, it's definitely luck of the draw if you get a coach that even shows up. The league managers love to pick and choose who they enforce practice observation rules for. Like these aren't public parks.

He's really into parkour, and the weekly program gives him a great mix of structured learning and active play. The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable, and I appreciate that they break the kids into smaller groups of about eight, which helps keep things more manageable. That said, with so many kids in the gym at once, it can get a bit chaotic. The instructors rotate frequently, which makes it harder to track individual progress, but on the plus side, it means my son gets to learn from different coaching styles. The staff is on the younger side, but they bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm, which keeps the kids engaged. One thing I really like is how they change up the course and layout every week and focus on different themes to keep things fresh and exciting. Overall, it's been a great experience, and my son always looks forward to going. A little more consistency with coaching would be nice, but if your kid is into parkour, this is a great place to train and have fun! They also offer a paid trial class and fee for open gym if you're interested in checking it out. They also have themed special events such as Fortnite Night, Minecraft, Ninja Warrior Night, etc. They also offer options for camp and focused clinics.

They were building a new restroom facility when we visited (Memorial Day 2017). There's also a picnic area with grills. There are classroom facilities too which can also be rented for meetings. The building has wifi. This building is separate from the other building with the cafe and store inside, which is closer to the beach. We will definitely rent another tandem kayak from here next time we camp at Anastasia State Park. The kayaking takes place over oyster beds so you CANNOT get out of the boat without injuring yourself. Best area summer camp!…read more Camp Crystal, run by the Alachua County School Board, gives Alachua County kids the opportunity to attend a semi local sleep away camp. Area parents will love the shortness of the sessions (Sunday- Friday for one week campers, or Sunday- the following Friday for two week campers.), the short drive there (30-55 minutes depending where you live in Gainesville), and the lower cost (under $600 a child.) Kids will love the beautiful grounds, fun atmosphere, and the awesome classes (kayaking, paddle boarding, water sports, wake boarding, art, frisbee, newspaper, soccer, lacrosse, yoga, and so much more!) Because it is such a desirable summer camp, registration is not easy. Those who have attended a session can continue attending that session without much effort (with just a commitment and later payment) vs others (first time registrants or those looking to change sessions) who must be online at a precise moment and move quickly to try and snag the few available spots. Registering for the first time can be a stressful hassle, but it's absolutely worth it! Once your kids have attended this camp, you 100% understand why everyone is so desperate to have their kids attend. My daughter just completed her fifth year, while my son just completed his second year. Both absolutely loved it! My husband and I enjoyed the short week of no kids life, but loved being able to see and hear how they are doing through the Camp Minder email system, and the photos published nightly. Camp Crystal is truly the perfect taste of sleep away camp for us lucky enough to live in Alachua County!

She even told one of the children playing on the slide to stop going up the opposite way. We felt uncomfortable being there. Amongst other things, basketballs/balls were deflated so that the children could not bounce them for basketball. Save your money and go to surge or rent a bounce house. I wouldn't take my pet back there. Further, She used a racial slurr when confronted about her lack of service. She will NOT be in business for long. I strongly do not recommend this establishment. It's because of clients that she's in business. If google allowed videos I would upload her unprofessionalism.
