Another place my co-workers introduced to me. Every sandwich I have had here is TO DIE FOR. There are seriously like 100 sandiwches/combos to choose from. They also chop up in teeney-itsy-bitsy bite size pieces tomato, pickles, onions to put on your sandwich...super good and makes each bite evenly distributed with the each topper. My fave is turkey, bacon and avocado. The pastrami is YUMMY on a cold day. The combo with a fountain drink and a bag of chips or side of mac / potato salad for like $ 6.99 for a small (8 inch) or like $ 8.99 for a jumbo-troinc 12 inch. As others have said...parking TOTALLY sucks at lunch time as it is in a business park. I recommend calling ahead and ordering so you can run in and run out. read more

Out of 100 and something sandwiches I must have picked the wrong one, I ordered the steak, avocado, and provolone cheese and honestly the steak was flavorless and there was a little too much onions (it overpowered what little flavor the meat had). I'll have to come back and try other sandwiches, it may change my mind about this sandwich shop. Pros: very friendly service, good prices, and the bread is good (like viet sandwich bread). Having not been here before I asked the staff what is good. I was recommended the 'stuffer' or the 'monster'. Being as the 'stuffer' sounded like a cheese steak sandwich and I wasn't in the mood for that I oped for the 'monster'. It was boring and fatty, smooth with no bite, too creamy... the sandwich is basically all their meats stacked with cheese, avocardo and mayo. It needed pickles, or vinegar... just something to cut through the fat of the avocado and mayo. This is no magic sandwich science here... you have to balance fat and acid. My fiance and my experience at Tummy Stuffer was one not so much for the food, but the connection that the owner and cashiers had with the common clients. It was both of our first times at Tummy Stuffers and we do love supporting the local mom n pop places because their food is usually better then the highly commercialized alternative. If you are looking for a place to get a good pastrami sandwich (definitely not HAT-like), then this is a good place to go, plus their enormous selection of sandwiches to choose from. Tummy Stuffers has a large selection of sandwiches to choose from. The actual restaurant itself is in a business park, but it is facing the street so it isn't hard to find at all. Now to business.. Pro: large selection of sandwiches to choose from, competitive prices, friendly staff, military discount (active & veteran) Con: gets pretty crowded at 12 (for obvious reasons), nothing else that I could see I would give this place a shot again, but I wouldn't try the Philly. This place is great for lunch. It is a little hard to find because it's in a business area but its on the corner of Iowa & Columbia. I'm a big fan of number 98 on squaw bread. It's turkey, bacon and avocado. Delicious. Definitely a no frills kind of place. It is a place full of regulars. Definitely stop by if you are in the area and are hungry for a sandwich. They have plenty to choose from! I work not too far from this little tiny Sandwich place, so of course I'd have to check it out. The sandwiches are good, with a large amount of meat in it, compared to places like Subway. The rolls are store bought, which is expected, but still pretty good. They do seem a little pricey for what you get, but with little to no local competition, they can get away with that. I have been working in the area for 19 years. I have gone to other places, but none will keep me as addicted as TUMMY STUFFERS. The sandwiches are delicious and you must try their teriyaki bowls. I love them. The owner, MARK. although he may be busy, still finds the time to greet his customers and his cashiers are wonderful. The sandwich came with avocado, onions, pickles, mayo and tomatoes! I love this place I just wish that it was open later (closes at 4 and on weekends). Delicious. I got the monster sandwich and it was really good and filling. I ate half then saves the second half for later. They don't skimp on ingredients :) I got a good amount of roast beef and turkey. Yummm. Location- this place is hard to find at first because it's not the typical restaurant or deli look from the outside. You cannot beat this places food. The bread is awesome, the veggies are fresh and the service is quick. I've been going here for 10 years. Not every day, just sporadically. I used to go a lot when I was in undergrad here at UCR but everytime I'm in R-side I'm tempted to pick up a sub. The prices aren't too bad, its a little on the pricey side for a sandwich (especially when My Hero is down the street). The only knock is that it has limited hours. They cater to the business park that they are in but that hurts us individuals that need a sandwich at odd hours of the day. This sandwich shop is located in a business park on Iowa. It's easy to miss, and the establishment itself has sort of a nice hole-in-the-wall feel. STEAK SANDWICHES. I freaking love theire steak sandwiches. I don't want to try anything else because their steak sandwiches are so damn good. I like the steak mushroom and cheese sandwich. Also, it is worth mentioning that their 12 inch only costs $1.20 more than their 8 inch. So just get your 12 inch, lol. I was introduced to Tummy Stuffer by my friend who took me here for lunch! It was a great way to try something new outside of the Downtown Riverside area. He told me "this place is quick but have great quality food!" And this place did not disappoint. Prices are affordable (less than $8.00 and it included quality chips and drink), so many choices (sandwich, chips and drink selection), to meet anyone and everyone's cravings! I tried the Mushroom/cheese/steak sandwich and it was delish! My friend got the monster sandwich and it also looked delish...had lot of bacon, which is always a win! Only reason why I couldn't give a 5 star, was because I had to basically wipe down and clean up the table that we sat at. I've tried the pastrami and club sandwiches and the bread is always perfect, generous portion of meat, and all for a extremely reasonable price. Not that there is many choices to choose from in Riverside but if you need somewhere for a good quick lunch on your work break, this is the #1 spot. I get the 44 (Steak, meat sauce, cherry peppers, grilled onions and cheese). At first, I was like, "Meat Sauce?! In a Philly Cheesesteak?!" Now, I'm like, "MORE MEAT SAUCE, PLEASE!" It is so good. My favorite place for sandwiches. I drive out of my way when I'm anywhere close --- we love it that much. I have the same thing every time -- ham and cheese and I'm picky about the condiments, and they always have it right. Great subs, tons of variety and quick service! This is one of the best places to get a sandwich if you are in the UC Riverside area. My go to is always ham, turkey and swiss. I go for the full 12" roll because their bread is bomb and I can't get enough of it! It is really a highlight of the sandwich. Service is always so fast. What is unique is that they dice thier tomato, onion and (tastes like homemade) pickles for the sandwich. It looked weird the first time I tried it, but I guarantee you that it's perfect for the style sandwich you are getting. Overall just a perfect place to stop and have lunch during a busy day. I do not recommend the salads. I had a large online order for my work. Within that order was 2 tuna salads and 1 chicken salad. We received 1 tuna salad and 2 chicken salads. The avocado was not ripe, so it was un-edible and the chicken was very salty. Also, they use iceberg lettuce, which isn't appetizing. read more

I needed a quick fix for lunch so I came here. I am very strict about my diet lately so I decided to get the salad. They have no description for the salads but do no underestimate them. THEY ARE SO GOOD. The place just list what seems like a boring salad category area without any description so I was pretty scared of what I was going to get. I was hoping for a nice salad with variety of vegetables and that is exactly what I got! - Chicken Breast Salad: Ice berg lettuce, avocado (super fresh), half boiled egg, red cabbage sliced, lots of tomatoes, really good chicken (a lot of chicken too!), carrots, and cucumber. Trust me on this one... If I ate my salad without dressing and I say it's good, it's really good.
