In town for an appointment nearby, on a Friday afternoon, so walked over for a late lunch early…read moredinner (4pm). Arrived between the potential crowds so only a handful of customers at this time. Establishment is located in the historic area of downtown Dublin. Parking out front and around on adjacent streets. Inside is very well decorated and designed. Mixture of modern meets rustic and wide open. I was seated right away at the window. My server was Evan and he was very helpful as we discussed a few items on the menu since it was my first time being here. Having grown-up on the coastlines of the country, I really like seafood. I chose the dinner grouper finger plate with coleslaw and fries. I was not disappointed. In fact, this was some of the best fried grouper I've had anywhere in middle Georgia. Fries were well seasoned, shoestring style and the coleslaw was very smooth with no bitterness. The only thing that took me by surprise were the hush puppies. They are sweet and so I had to inquire about them. I found out they were made of funnel cake style batter and not cornbread. They were more like a small dessert to me. Good, but I would've preferred regular hush puppies. Outside that, the meal was very, very good. The service and friendliness of the staff gets high marks as well. If you're in the area, give these guys a try.

Staff and establishment were fine but the seafood had very little flavor. With the exception of the fish it was cooked well just no flavor. The fish was 75% batter. Some areas nothing but a flat chunk of batter. Food was hot but didn't hold up to our previous experiences here. Hushpuppies and dessert were still excellent. We will try again. Hopefully it was just a one off, bad night for the chef.

We were staying at Hamburg State Park and had to make a run into Milledgeville. We drove past this…read morerestaurant and noticed it was packed! So, we quickly yelped and saw they had tea on the table and a grits bar!! They had me at the grits bar. They had my husband at the tea pitchers on the table. So, we finished our errand and came back for dinner. It was good. It was quaint. Health score was 100. They were busy and on point. Kids had fried shrimp and chicken tenders, both got fries. My husband got the choose three platter with catfish, shrimp, and scallops with macaroni and cheese and fried corn. Scallops were nice and buttery, catfish and shrimp were exactly as he wanted. He's pretty sure the fried corn was frozen but it was still solid, nice and crispy. I had the grilled catfish with green beans and fried okra. Catfish was nicely season, tender, juicy. The okra was just as imagined and pretty sure the green beans were canned; which is fine, just surprised us. They put a ton of love into their food we figured the corn and green beans could have had some more love too! But again, still a great meal. Oh, they had amazing looking cakes, lots of love in them for sure. They look good even though we didn't taste! I snapped a couple pictures of the current menu, use this as a ball park estimate because the economy may send prices up.
