Dr. Golob is flat out fantastic. He is awesome - he spends time answering questions, explains what he is doing and why. He is always on time and you never feel rushed. Front office staff (one in particular - older lady name starts with M - not trying to be a jerk and throw anyone under the bus) can be rude and indifferent. She is not pleasant and I hate it when I call or come in and she is the one there. Younger gal is very nice but if you don't get her on the phone or in person, it can make for non existent customer service. read more

I see Dr. Golob because he is very thoughtful, knows a great deal about how bodies work. I have my neck adjusted when I get vertigo. I also rehabilitated from a car accident, and used massage there for much of my recovery. And, since I have Kaiser and he is one of their preferred providers, one time I went with an arm problem, and he correctly stated that this was NOT a chiropractic amenable problem, correctly ordered an X-ray, and that X-ray was needed for the diagnosis I got at Urgent Care, and having the X-ray first really sped up the time to treatment .. . . . Adriele is my massage therapist, and she is so good, that I hesitate to tell you because I don't want her to be too busy to see me. And Margaret? I only went to this chiropractor (Lonnie Lowe) a couple of times. He was wonderful. The problem is with his front desk staff Margaret. She is horrible. While I was talking with her I couldn't understand a word she was saying. I mentioned to her that she "talks really fast". Her reply was "well your phone is breaking up"... like it was a tit for tat. I scheduled the appointment but called back a few minutes later to cancel.. Way too many good chiropractors to have their front desk be so rude. I see her name has appeared in many other posts so apparently the management doesn't care. I also asked the colleague that initially referred me to the chiropractor and she said she has spoken to management about the front desk rudeness and he hasn't done anything. read more

Dr. Amber Woods of Tumwater Chiropractic is incredibly talented. Unlike many chiropractors, she has a variety of techniques and tools to assist her patients. If one thing won't work, she'll try others till something works! She is also a degreed health/nutrition major, using kinesiology in tandem with her incredible knowledge. This allows her sessions with clients to be truly customized. The staff here is also hard working and wonderful. They are always helpful and friendly. They also have massage. Talk to me for 5 minutes, pushed on my hip for 30 seconds then told me we were done and asked me to leave, then charged me for an hour??? I took me longer to park then the whole visit. Great clinic! They have a wide range of hours for those with different schedules and they can get you in pretty quickly. It's the only thing that will help my migraines so I really appreciate how fast they can see me. Dr. Golob is the best, Dr. Lowe I'm not as fond of, he always seems like he's in a hurry. Dr. Golob really takes care of you, helps you with stretches, and makes sure your muscles are loose enough to correct you. Very kind staff, definitely would recommend. read more

I came to Tumwater Chiropractic on a whim after being in pain over the holiday weekend and not being able to get into my original chiropractor. Dr. Woods was able to accept me that day! The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. When it came to Dr.Woods she was friendly and truly made me feel welcomed in the office, and that my relief was her priority. After two visits I plan to make her my primary chiropractor. She has a bubbly personality, and very knowledgeable. I love that she explains what she is doing and what I can expect. Very professional. The service wasn't necessarily bad, but it wasn't worth what they are wanting to charge me. So I wouldn't be caught dead going here twice a week at $200 a pop! So I highly recommend ONLY going here if you have impeccable insurance. If you have a state employees HSA account insurance than you are looking at over $200 out of pocket for the first visit if not all visits. No x-rays are given on the first visit! No manual adjustment! I suppose it depends on who you get. I got a woman. She was more like a "homeopathic" type person. I thought "Yoga teacher" as soon as I met her. She was nice and pleasant but didn't do any manual/labor work on my back. Simply used an actuator and very light handed massage...almost couldn't even feel it, felt like my 2 year old giving me a massage. It was like getting a "sample" spa visit. Hot towels and all...but no flexing of my body, no popping my hips, back, neck, etc. like many other chiropractors do. I left feeling the same as I went in. I was very disappointed when I got the bill! I think the actuator is a bit of a scam and if it is going to be used then a manual adjustment ALSO needs to be done at the same time. Don't charge me the same price to pop a light plastic tool on my back that has 0 effect. read more

I've seen Dr. Lonnie Lowe for years and have always been thrilled with his services. Office staff is friendly; appointments are always within a day or two. I also really appreciate that he never tries to put me on a schedule. I get to decide based on my own preference when I see him again. He was able to figure out a problem with my psoas muscle a couple years ago after my regular doctor tried to tell me I had arthritis. Fantastic doctors and staff! read more

First visit with Kelly Golob for my neck was awesome. He is friendly, informative and doesn't just adjust you but gives you exercises to help you on your road to recovery. I have been treated by chiropractors in the past that don't listen, then adjust you only to have you coming back like a hamster on a wheel and not getting anywhere. My appointment began with the receptionist making such an issue of my insurance and referral I almost left before my appointment started. She was extremely rude and didn't bother to listen to anything I had to say. The supposed office manager came to the front afterward and began to argue with me about the way I had filled out the office paperwork. The entire episode was unnecessary and humiliating in front of an office full of patients. Thankfully my initial visit with Kelly Golob was informative and helpful. While waiting for my second visit with Kelly Golob I witnessed the receptionist discussing a referral situation with a pregnant woman in such an incredibly rude way that the woman began to cry. I was disgusted and aggravated by the lack of professionalism and decorum by the front desk staff. I decided not to stay for my appointment. While I believe Tumwater Chiropractic has a wonderful chiropractor in Kelly Golob I think his practice will fail to thrive as long as he has an incompetent office staff. read more
