cozy and quiet place to work! you order at the bar but you can get snacks behind the reception deck. there's an imac that's free to use as well. i discovered games in a hidden cabinet last time i was there! the food is good, not the absolute best quality ever but it's not bad. i also believe this place is black owned so that's cool! everyone is friendly and helpful. there's a wrap around look out deck and some outdoor seating as well.

So they've add d a turbo to the Elm. Beautiful view, very nice hotel. We've had Turbo in the colony, and I have to say I was beyond disappointed with this location. The service and location were good, and that's how they earned any stars at all I had a sausage pizza with white sauce and mushrooms. The menu said hand pulled sausage, but this was the sausage balls that everyone has. Maybe they pulled it out of the freezer with their hands? My daughter had a simple pepperoni pizza, husband ordered wings, and we took it to go. My pizza was raw. The crust was the texture of wallpaper paste. My daughter also had raw dough and deemed her pizza inedible. Husbands wings came with a large container of ketchup, no clue why. He said they were ok.

    Brown Butter Cake (Absolutely phenomenal)

Fantastic place. So quiet and the food and coffee were splendid. The server and bartender were also very kind, personable, and on it.

    Seating close to coffee bar.

We love Detour Doughnuts!…read more I live about 45 minutes from here so going often is tough but we like to come for special occasions. I came for an event one time & knew I had to bring my husband back to try it. I loved it even more the second time & he now asks every weekend to drive out there. I got the mascarpone coffee. I didn't even know that was a thing. It was my new favorite coffee! My husband got a lemonade & really enjoyed it. Not pictured here are the donut holes. I really appreciate the mini apple fritters. I've never ordered them until Detour Doughnuts because I won't eat a big one. They are the perfect size and delicious. So are the regular doughnuts holes. I think the brown sugar cinnamon roll might be the best donut I've ever had. It was fantastic! But truly all of them are great. I love the texture & flavor of everything I've tried. I appreciate that their pricing is clearly marked & set up for different portion sizes. It is a bit more expensive than normal donut shops but they are also more specialized than a basic donut. For what it is, I didn't think it was overpriced. The restaurant is small but people are pretty polite about space & not hanging out too long. The customer service was excellent! We had a good time chatting with the employee that helped us. My husband's a jokster & she handled him really well. 10 out of 10 recommended! We'll be back for sure!

Detour Doughnuts is one of those places that reminds you why supporting local businesses is so…read morerewarding. From the moment I walked in, the shop felt warm and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely friendly. I tried the strawberry matcha doughnut, and it was incredible. The dough was light, fluffy, soft, and buttery--the kind of texture that keeps you thinking about it long after you've finished. I also brought home the fig & mascarpone, crème brûlée, maple éclair, Dubai chocolate, and mango lassi doughnuts, and every single one was fresh, creative, and packed with flavor. It's clear they put a lot of thought into each seasonal and specialty creation. I also had a refreshing matcha lemonade that paired perfectly with the doughnuts. Between the quality of the pastries, the welcoming atmosphere, and the excellent customer service, this is a spot I'd happily recommend. If you're ever in the area, it's definitely worth stopping by--I know I'll be back for more.
