I met a friend here for coffee last week and I love this place. The seating is limited but we were able to grab a spot. We got iced lattes and the jalapeño biscuits with sausage, egg, and cheese and everything was delish! I did the drive through so not sure if its all chic inside. The drive thru staff was cool and polite though! 'k, now the main course. Omg their irish coffee is, to borrow a word from kids these days, fire, or is it fyre? I love the strong flavor which is usually not as bold at most places. I also got monkey bread which was heated up to a nice gooey consistency with an appropriately crunchy top. I wish they were closer to my general location because I would visit more. I will definitely make a point of stopping by if I'm in the area. read more

The Mexican Mocha was pretty good- it was a great balance bitter and sweet. The drive thru service was great. I do however hope they provide a coffee cup sleeve to all customers- when asked if I wanted one I declined not knowing what style cup I would receive. I ended up having to wrap the cup with paper towel to enjoy the coffee. read more

I attended the grand opening today!! There were quite a few people there as today they were giving away free drinks!! I waited in the drive-thru line for several minutes, not bad though, and moved along well. I got a medium hot Caramel Blondie, half sweet, and it's very tasty. It's one I'd definitely consider added to my coffee rotation. I also got a blueberry muffin, which was good as well. Service was good & they were friendly!! Music was kinda loud outside but just adds to the excitement of the day. I'll be back! read more

Tried this place out for the first time today and loved it! Everyone working there was so nice and helpful! We ordered a regular latte with one pump of vanilla (tried it and was too sweet for me so they remade just a regular latte for me without any flavor and it was perfect!), my husband had a mocha, I had the egg burrito, he had the chorizo sandwich, and our son had a regular bagel. For the longest I was wondering what this building was going to be when I saw it being bult. They finally pened and I let a few weeks past so I could go try it out. I ordered Iced Caramel Blondie, and I got my husband and Teal Flavored Fuel. The Iced Caramel Blondie was actually very good. It is an alternative to have outside of the mainstream coffee shops. We went to Black Rock on opening day and did not enjoy what we ordered. A refresher that was all sugar (couldn't take more than two sips) and two blended coffees that tasted identical. The staff was extremely friendly with the crazy crowd, but I don't believe I'll come back for the coffee. read more

Once I realized this isn't the same blackrock that is buying up housing and renting them to people in a predatory manner (totally unrelated), figured I'd give it a try. Just went through the drive through, but very pleased. I ordered a coffee and got.. a coffee. Was good coffee at that. Coffee was a little bitter to me... I just got a vanilla latte and it was ok... I do my coffee in a chemex at home... so it's hard to find coffee out that isn't a little bitter... great atmosphere, nice staff. I would go back and try something different though. read more

Update. After my last visit I've picked up my coffee by drive thru multiple times. Always spot on. Today I took my neighbors out for coffee and treats and intended to sit down and have some relaxing conversation. My neighbors are in their 60's. As soon as we walked in we all mentioned how loud the music was. I showed the barista at the register my last review. She didn't say one word- or I didn't hear her. My neighbors and I had trouble ordering because we couldn't converse with the young lady taking our orders. The music was that loud and more. I just ended up ordering for them. As we waited for our orders I asked if the volume of the music can be lowered. After asking 3-4 times- what- I can't hear you- she said the volume was controlled by corporate and they can not adjust it. Mind you-- not one person besides the 3 of us were there. We wanted to stay and enjoy our treats. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! We took our treats and ended up on my patio. I've already addressed this. It only is worse now. Obviously since there was no one else sitting inside I'm assuming the volume of the music had something to do with it. Even if I was by myself I would have not stayed. If I want a nice morning coffee experience I will not be going to Black Rock on Fm 423. Coffee establishments are supposed to be where people gather study or relax. People-- you just don't understand the assignment here. I will find other places to drink my coffee, order treats and gather with friends. Total disappointment. read more

I went here a few times during my visit. I enjoyed the blue lagoon drink and Mexican Mocha. Staff were very friendly to me when I asked questions about the menu since I had never had Black Rock Coffee before. The cafe is very clean and I did notice many people were here doing work or studying. read more

I used to go to the black rock by my work in southlake but since wfh there wasn't one close by until this one opened!! It's been amazing quality every drink! Their blondies and Mexican mochas are great and my go to's! Also enjoy their muffins and croissants. The staff is always very friendly through the drive through as well! read more
