Our server Cariss seemed overwhelmed and disorganized throughout our visit. When we asked another employee to get her for us, her response was, "What do they want?" Her tone was rude and dismissive, especially after we had already been waiting for assistance. A tip is not simply for bringing food to the table that is part of the job. A tip reflects the quality of service and whether the server helped make the dining experience pleasant. Unfortunately, the attitude, lack of attentiveness, and poor communication did not make us feel welcomed or valued as guests.

The Star is always bustling with activity. Our hotel is across the street so we keep ending up here. Decided to try Ascension Coffee at the Star (which is the Dallas Cowboys practice facility and restaurant row). The cashier wasn't friendly. There was a small patio and a small area to sit inside. We took our salted caramel latte, americano, and sausage brekkie sandwich to go. We sat on a bench down the street. Our coffees were meh and our sandwich was supposed to have melted cheese, but it didn't.

This place is so cute and comfy. Feels like a warm blanket with coffee. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the lox and a cup of white cheddar poblano, both were excellent. Topped it with an horchata latte that was very delicious. My friend had the lemon poppy pancakes that looked and smelled amazing and a chai latte that she stated was the best she's ever had. Service here was great! A little slow but they were quick with the food and consistently made sure we were good. Absolutely would come again!

I love their lavender latte, it's my go to but I recently tried their matcha! I love how fresh and flavorful it was. Great Ambience and the servers are really sweet too.

This is a big no thank you for the drinks, but the scone was good. I tried their coffee/tea summer flight and it was such a disappointment. No body wants soggy Capn' Crunch in their watered down coffee - at least I didn't. One of the 4 option is literally sparkling water, the other one is a gritty iced coffee of some kind that left a really bad after taste. The only one I liked was a peach fizz something that was very nice.

I just visited Ascension Coffee for breakfast before the Dallas Open and I just completely fell in love with it. To start, the ambiance is so fun and upbeat, it is a great place for working or having a full meal. It was a bit on the louder side, but I would imagine it was because of the event going on. Our server was genuinely so sweet and helpful. Really personable and just kind. I loved the s'mores board - I always see their coffee flights online and really want to try! It lived up to my expectations and was perfect to share with a friend. We also shared the mimosa carafe for the table, which was a generous size and so delicious. I ordered the hippie bowl as my entree and it was so flavorful, nourishing, and yummy. I added a side of chile crisp, which was amazing and enhanced the flavors. I literally cannot wait to return and I am so grateful I discovered this place!

Have a need for a delicious and nutritious breakfast - this is your place when in Frisco. Plenty of garage parking and I walked over from the Omni. Service was fast and friendly! The Food was absolutely fantastic and packed with flavor. The ambiance was casual and great for a family or a solo traveler needing to prepare for their AM meeting. Highly recommend and plenty of delicious food options.

This is a great coffee and breakfast spot. I loved their Aussie Brekkie (totally could be misspelled) sandwich.

I got a gift card to this spot from a friend. It was a short walk from my hotel and it was a nice morning coffee run. Friendly service.

We love this place. Every time we come to Frisco we stop here. I ordered the half and half which was the steak Sammie and tomato basil soup with the lavender latte and it was absolutely delicious.

(took my order to costco) hippie bowl + chicken and a latte

The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing and definitely busy. But the coffee is just okay, service was average and the food seems fresh. Not much flavor in my coffee (lavender latte) nor my food (Hippie Bowl + chicken) There are signs advertising as a farm to table vibe but some of the food definitely tasted prepacked (sysco vibe) but I could definitely be wrong! I will likely try the Fort Worth Location or even try this location again but just order differently.

Met my girlfriends here for a quick Sunday brunch & it was reasonable. Matcha latte was missing some sweetness just had to add a little sugar to it. Our server was patient with us since it was our first time with many selections. Great place to stop by if you're in the area touring around The Star.

The tables are pretty close together & isn't as spacious. It's normally crowded during the weekend. When we got there we weren't sure if we had to wait to get seated or just grab a seat. Since no one acknowledged us, we just grab a seat at an empty table. After we sat down, someone came & gave us a menu. I got the egg benedict with bacon. It was unique that it came with sourdough instead of english muffin. Overall the egg benedict was alright. The sourdough gave the dish a sour taste. I didn't like the salad that it came with & some of the leaves weren't fresh. For my drink, I got the aussie iced coffee & it's nothing special. It's pretty much an affogato & tasted just like milk. I also tried the T.A.G big breaky. It wasn't as big as I would expected & it was a little overpriced for the amount you get. The sausage was very dry & overcooked, but everything else was good.

It was almost 20 mins later when the other dish came out. By this time we needed to leave, feed plus diaper change. That was a major hit for us as we couldn't enjoy or meals together. Even better right?? Well welcome to Parks Coffee! I've driven past this place so many times on PGBT that I googled them and saw they offered tours. So I immediately booked one and have to say it was well worth the cost. You get to see the behind the scenes and understand more about the process of making coffee. There is even a tour you can request in which you can roast your own bag (details on their website as it may change from when I post this). At the end of the tour you get to try a sampling of their single origin coffees that are paired with bite size pastries from a local bakery, La Casita, that were delicious! The pairings really brought out the notes in the coffee and even I felt like a coffee sommelier! Plus after the tour you get a discount at the coffee shop and it applies to their sweet shirts. Overall I highly recommend checking them out and taking the tour. Their coffees were great and the tour was enlightening.
