Awesome service! Friendly and cheerful baristas that will answer any questions about the menu and thoroughly take your order so your drink is right. I appreciated the attention to detail. My drink was super tasty! This coffee shop is easy to get to with windows on both sides in a parking lot near restaurants. I ordered a 20oz iced macadamia mocha made with hemp milk and light ice. Drink was made perfectly and was super yummy. Only confusing thing was on my receipt I noticed a $0.60 cent cup fee. I didn't know about this, if I return I will bring my personal cup but wish they had a sign or encourage customers verbally to bring our own cups in because I'm not sure if they let you. Some places allow personal cups some don't so I'll have to ask if I return when I'm in the area. Also noticed a card fee so I'll try to remember if I return to bring cash.. My drink was still so good and service was great so besides those charges no complaints. Would recommend and would return :) read more

My favorite coffee stand ever! I used to go to Starbucks almost every day until I randomly stopped here one morning. The difference in the taste and flavor of the coffee is incredible. There's more options and better pricing than other places. They also have a great punch card system so that you can earn free drinks and they always have different promotions going on. Tobi is the BEST. She memorized my drink order after only coming here twice. She is so sweet and makes my drink perfect every single time! Stopped here for the 3rd or 4th time in the last few months, and yet again, was handed a delicious coffee. I love that they use the powdered white chocolate, and whatever coffee they use is wonderfully roasted. If I could give a negative star I would give this place one . Time and time again I have given them the opportunity to do the right thing and be a friendly establishment but they fail me ! Katie started working there again who I had issues with months back because she wanted to charge me extra .50 for half and half which Starbucks offers for free ... So they offer kids size hot cocoa for a $1 which is the best price in town I give them that and they do whip cream with sprinkles on the lid . Well I started to go back for the hot cocoa hoping it's a weekend and that Katie won't be there as she worked Mon-Fri and she wasn't so I was happy .. So the last several months we have been doing a Sat/Sun routine I get up with my grandsons and we go for hot cocoa and Sunday's free donut day . The boys know Sunday is donut day and get excited ... Well today we go and Katie has this attitude when I'm asking about the donuts she says you mean the the donut holes I said no the regular ones that you do on Sunday's , I ask her your still doing that correct ? She says yes I just wasn't sure if you wanted the donut holes but she says it with a snotty attitude as usual .. She gives me the hot cocoa for the boys which R in the back seat window down waiting and she don't do the sprinkles . Then she asked what DONUT I want I said two maple bars , she says I can only have one cuz I'm only spending money on kids hot cocoa and Irs suppose to me a coffee for a free donut. I said are you kidding me I said we have been getting a free donut the last several months with their hot cocoa , I said this is why I stopped coming here for coffee because of your customer service attitude . She says I'm just following the rules I said then why have the last several months my grandkids have been getting a free donut and your gonna tell them no today they have to share one . How many people turn down the free donut and she could give us one even it that was a rule . She didn't ask if I wanted to pay for the extra one just said no. Then said she would give it to me this one time but I said her customer service was horrible so she says now I'm only giving you one seems my service sucks . My oldest grandson you can tell is upset the youngest isn't sure what's going on but knows enough to say what a mean lady !!!!! Don't go there don't support this stand !!! read more

I love this place and am here upwards of 5x per week, much to the dismay of my budget. The women working here are always very friendly, and very much willing to answer any questions you have. I have a pretty standard order and I love knowing that it will be made perfectly every morning. For my flavored latte, it is slightly less expensive than Starbucks and their sugarfree flavor selection is much, much better. They have at least a half dozen flavors, compared to Starbucks's two flavors. read more

Visiting turbo in Lynnwood is a staple in my morning commute. These girls are the very first people I interact with in my day (before I am caffeinated) and they are always going out of their way to satisfy their guests. My main barista, Toby, is personable, sweet and always striking up good conversation all while maintaining quick service. I normally dont write reviews but this one is needed, ive been coming to this stand formally known as Cafe Terra Verde for over 7 years. Since it has changed owners it has gone down hill drastically, I dont think they have any experience in the coffee industry. I myself have 2 stands that I own and operate in the lynnwood region. All the original girls that worked there for years are now all gone, they will be missed more than they know. The new girls they currently have employeed are flat out rude, slow, and their ability to make a consistent drink day to day is non existent. I looked forward to pulling up to this stand and my drink was already made and ready to go. Thats now not the case.. The newest girl they hired a blonde girl who is supposed to be the manager doesnt help at all. She watches and tries to make small talk rather than helping get the 6 cars through the line. And last week was bad mouthing former girls who would put her to shame in a side by side comparison. Very unprofessional, I would be embarrassed to have my employees act this way. Their prices have raised several times this year alone with no notice while the quality has dropped at the same time. Also called penny pinching. I used to come here 2 times a day, 7 days a week because its close to home. Not anymore, I'll take my business elsewhere from now on. Ill be waiting to buy this place when it goes belly up. read more

Hmmmm... must be an insider criticizing another review! While I don't 100% agree with Johnny F., the reason you go to any establishment when there are so many around is the people. I've been going to Café Terra Verde for years (7+ ???) and it's been because of the people! Even when one of the baristas moved on because of career advancement they found someone who was just a good and just as friendly to take their place (Karissa and Briannah set the bar pretty high!). I'll give Turbo a chance because it takes new people awhile to get comfortable but I'm not happy with all of the recent changes and some of the reason that people were let go... well, not cool! I gave 3 stars due to the fact i normally LOVE this place and get good service and a good drink. This morning the girl was unfriendly, started to give me cold shots that i didn't ask for (never do they give me those). I told her i wanted fresh hot shots and she didn't seem to happy to start over. I ordered 3 shots over ice with no water and some cream the same thing i order every time and tastes great. She handed it to me and it tastes like pure water. I drove off and circled back around just to order the same drink rather than telling her it tasted horrible since she clearly was in a rush and in a terrible mood. I just recently moved to Mill Creek from Wenatchee. I wanted an easy espresso stand as I commute to Bellevue everyday. Turbo Espresso is the place to go! The new girls are so cute, bubbly and friendly and my drink is always waiting for me! I love that they have powdered white chocolate. Not sure who Johnny F. is below but most likely a disgruntled former employee who was fired and trying to find revenge, which is too bad because Turbo is wonderful I enjoy stopping here before my long commute everyday! I have never in a month of visiting every day seen a line of 6 cars or had to wait for my drink. Give this place a try its wonderful. They put to "shame" any of the girls on the eastside I used to visit. And when I pull up there are always regulars chatting with the girls. Love my new local stand! read more

THIS IS ON REGARDS TO THE LAKE STEVENS LOCATION! I had a great experience with this stand until now!!! I started going to this establishment about 3-4 months ago, spent 100's of dollars there and that's fine, BUT I have been paying $4.90 for my one drink from the girls (Calli and Cathrine) those two girls are awesome, the one girl Sydney always charged me different (higher prices) and was always so rude to me, she made me daughter's Italian soda and stirred it with a dirty peanut butter spoon so my daughter's Italian soda had peanut butter floating all around in it she said it was disgusting, Sidney asked if it could be remade I said no because I had to go I was in a rush to get my daughter to an appointment. as of yesterday the price went up Sidney went to her manager sorry the owner Denise and let her know that the other girls were inappropriately pricing me I've never met these other girls until I came to their coffee stand, I left a message on the owners voicemail Denise and she called me back today she was rude she had no manners I'm talking about the owner here at the Lake Stevens turbo espresso, she said I don't like people taking advantage of my espresso stand and I said all that happened was the girls told me $4.90 and I paid it never once was that me taking advantage of them they were great baristas and take care of their customers Calli and Catherine that is NOT Sydney! the owner went on to say that she has voice and video recording and she thought I was rude the last three times I came in contact with Sydney well, the last time was today when they jumped up the price of my $4.90 to $5.95 so I was a little upset and said your sign says you love your customers is that only certain customers? she went on to be rude and snooty and snotty very unprofessional, the owner went on to say that I do not believe that customers are always right you were in the wrong I asked may I ask how I was in the wrong she said when she offered to remake your daughter's Italian soda you could have said yes you were wrong I said I had to go I didn't have time to wait around for her to make me another drink for my daughter I had to get her to the appointment she went on to say that that was my fault she then said the owner Denise said that when she made my coffee the last time which was 3 days ago before today Sidney that is, Denise said she made your coffee really watery for a blended drink and you didn't like that and I said no I didn't like that I paid for a blended drink and the next day when I came back and saw her and said yesterday you had made me a blended drink to Sydney she came up with a lot of excuses one excuse it was 4:30 they were closing at 5 number to excuse the ice started to melt because they were closing at 5 number three excuse she was tired and wanted to go home. I don't care about what Denise thinks as soon as I told her that it was wrong the way she was treating me the customer she hung up on me, I tried to call back she said hello this is Denise I said Denise did you just hang up on me or was that an accident and she said nope and hung up again this is not a professional shop I would never recommend this shop ever!!! read more

I used to go to Turbo on a regular basis. I went there last week and my girl Zara, I call her my girl cause she is my go to girl wasn't there. I think Katie was her name who helped me, I asked her if Zara was working that day and she said no in a very sarcastic tone. She was very rude and you could tell she didn't want to be there. She didn't make my coffee like Zara makes it I left very unsatisfied. OK, so I went there the next day thinking my girl Zara might be there, but a different girl helped me I think her name was Ashley. I tell you she wasn't much better than Katie maybe worse. I couldn't imagine anyone being worse than Katie, but she was. I asked her about Zara and she said she didn't work there anymore. I didn't order coffee because cause I wanted my go to girl Zara. I will never go there again plus I will tell my friends who go there Zara is no longer there. I want my Zara!!!!!!!!!! I would give them a 0 if there was a rating that low. I hope the manager reads this and gets her act together if she wants to keep her customers. read more
