This is a very exciting event to attend. It happened towards end of March so weather was perfect…read moreand it's outdoor so it's dog friendly. Do bring your dog a bowl and water tho as none are provided. I couldn't see any main entrance or check in stand among the many tents that were set up so it was a bit unorganized and confusing in the beginning so I circled around the entire event until I came upon a tent that didn't seem to be serving any beer and inquired. That's where I checked in and it appears to be sponsored by Wellsfargo bank. The staffs were friendly enough but again did not explain to me any details or how it works so I put my little souvenir cups with the wristband (which appears to be a decor ribbon) inside in my car and proceeded to the first tent. At the first tent I looked at their beverages and asked for a sample and the staff asked me where's my wristband and cup? I said oh! I left it in my car since I didn't know that was my wristband and cup lol So I went back to my car and got them. Another walk, another wasted time but this is where the fun begins... From there it was drinks after drinks after drinks being poured into my 1 mini glasses. Everyone were friendly and eager to pour you a sample so pick and choose carefully otherwise you'll get tipsy really fast! There were no food provided except at the food truck that cost and a cookie stand that also cost. I did see several people walking around with their pretzel necklace including a cute dog wearing one Some of my top beers, hard cider, Lager, Ale or Pilsner were the mango flavored hard cider from Blake's, The pink poison from Nasty Beast. Oh you also get 2-3 plastic coins that you can drop in the vendors container for your picks and the vendors with the most coins wins the votes. How exciting right?? That contest made it more fun! I made friends with strangers and I had my dog, Peanut with me whom friendly strangers asked to pet. There were games to play also, including bean bags toss, the hammer game, ring toss game (cost but proceeds goes to charity) There were so many awesome beer and vendors to name but Lovelady Brewing co, Blake's, Nasty Beast, North 5th Brewing Co, Lazy Dogs, the Original Club Tails, 21Rocs, RoseAde, Silver Reef Brewing co, Nutrl, among many others. It was so much fun!! So much to do and see and sample! I was slurp slurping away and getting tipsy as I go lol. Oh there are a dump and rinse stations set up randomly so you can pour out your beer and rinse out the extras which was really helpful. I can't wait to attend their event next year. Thank you New Vista Beer Festival and Yelp for making this happen!

Drinks, sunshine, and entertainment....what more can one ask for? :) Unlimited tastings for four hours is a great deal for this event and such a fun way to try new drinks. Also a dangerous way to get tipsy if you don't pace yourself and hydrate along the way! LOL There were water stations to rinse your tasting cup, but not water stations to drink from so I recommend bring your own water to stay hydrated at this event. In addition to beer, the event also had a lot of seltzer/canned alcohol drinks. There were even a few vodka cocktails in a can to try. There were so many awesome alcoholic drinks and vendors and the offerings exceeded my expectations. Every tent was excited to pour you a sample (or a sample of everything they had) and the energy was great and for a great cause. Everyone we encountered vendor wise/volunteer at this event was super friendly and made the event such a chill atmosphere. Some even had some cute swag to hand out like the lemonade seltzer tattoos. The main entrance or check in stand was a little bit unorganized/there was not a clear sign and there was a bit of a wait, but it is a volunteer charity event so it was to be expected. I loved how they had a few large screens up to watch the games on as well as some games to play. Seating was limited/practically non-existent but you are moving around so much that you don't even notice it. But if you care about that, I recommend bringing your own chairs or a blanket to sit on. For the price of this event and how much fun it was I definitely want to come back again :) Tell your friends everyone... this is an event you don't want to miss!

2025 my first time participating in the tour de Summerlin. Over all it was a great experience. I…read morehad a great time and would do it again. The first rest stop I stopped at was well stocked and the staff/volunteers were very friendly and very helpful. The only complaint I have is there was no signage that I saw. I live Los Angeles so I'm not that familiar with the streets. I ended up getting lost 3 times. I followed some riders right past the first rest stop and 2.5 miles down the road found out they were doing the 80 mile ride so I missed the turn around and had to turn back but then got to enjoy the rest stop. I'm a slow rider so I fell behind the pac rather quickly. Coming out of the canyon I saw no signs at all and no other riders around anymore. My cell phone died and it was all guessing trying to find my way back to downtown Summerlin. I was doing the 40 mile ride tracking the distance on my smartwatch and it took me 46.02 miles to get to the finish line. Everything else was great and I would do it again.

This was my first year participating in Tour de Summerlin. I picked up my packet the night before…read morethe event at McGhie's, Fort Apache. Information was offered as far as the routes, parking, meal ticket, etc. The registration included a free T-shirt and offered a 20, 40 or 80 mile option. The next morning I arrived at DS for the event. Parking was not clearly marked and the one person I encountered directing it was not very helpful. So right off the bat I think better signage could have been provided. Having only been cycling a year, I've only done a handful of distance cycling events and this did not compare to what I have seen take place in those other events. Not bad, just different. Not a lot of fanfare at the beginning of the ride or at the end. Compared to other rides not a lot of police presence or SAG vehicles either. I didn't feel the ride portion was clearly marked in spots and was confusing. I think the A-frame type smaller signs I have seen on other rides would have been helpful versus just arrows on the ground. I also heard other riders complain about this issue. I remember one portion where the arrows said right but some riders were going straight and if not for another cyclist familiar with the route directing me I would have missed the turn. This is the first ride that ever took me through a muddy, construction off-road portion as well. As far as rest stops go the two I stopped at were well stocked and the volunteers were friendly. I signed up for the 80 mile route which technically fell short of 80 by about two miles. At the end of the ride our meal ticket gave us a choice of a few food options as they were having a wellness fair at DS that day. No medal for this event which is unfortunate cause it's always nice to have a commemorative reminder of events like this. Will I do this ride again? If I get the same discounted rate then possibly but considering they are roads I can travel any time maybe I will just buy the jersey.

If I couldn't give them zero stars I would…read more No leadership from the director. He lets the parents/coaches do anything. He is not involved in trying to fix the issues. I would not have my son play for such a unorganized league. It sucks to have him affiliated with the NFL.

It is so hard to review sports leagues because of all the emotions involved with parents and kids…read more My child has been with this league for 4 years and played every season. Since my family and I are pretty quiet and don't get involved with the parent drama, I don't think that the owner/director knows us at all. We have spoken with him dozens of times about random things and he always acts like he is meeting us for the first time and has no idea who our kids is. I see the director talking with the same favorite coaches and aggressive, loud teams season after season. I am not judging the league based on this but I really wished they would take the time to get to know the kids and parents who have been around for years, paying the fees every few months and just enjoying the games without nasty comments. Okay now my review...trying to be unbiased. Your experience really depends on the coach you get, the parents on your team and the team you are playing and the refs for the game. We have had a few coaches and enjoyed experiences with most of them. Some have been rougher around the edges but for the most part we have been lucky. I will not allow my child to be yelled profanity at or treated like crap. I do see some coaches acting this way and I would have pulled my kid off that team very quickly. The refs have a tough job and I dont think they get paid very much. I try to patient and kind with them. Some of them are really, really wonderful and fair and some are biased and must be blind. It sucks to get a bad ref and I wish that the Director would be more involved to stop the bad ref behavior before it gets out of hand. Sooooo the worst part of the league...the parents. Omigosh the parents! So many over indulged children with their parents forcing them to play or living out an NFL dream. I wish everyone could get on the same page and just sit back, enjoy the game and cheer on their kids without nastiness. Stop yelling at the kids, coaches and the refs! If you have a problem then create your own team and run it your way. Otherwise, just be a parent and enjoy some time with your kids without embarrassing them. All in all we have had a mostly positive experience and I love the NFL jerseys they get. The league is fairly reasonable and there are leagues running almost all year long. if you arent sure about joining, I suggest giving a season a try and see if you like it. This gives you some insight into who are the best coaches and what to request for the next season.

I'm Juliana, a mom of two, and I came to the park on June 1st to get our season passes fixed. The front area was pretty packed, and there were a lot of guests needing help. While I was waiting, I couldn't help but notice Logan. I remembered him from last year. We didn't talk much, but whenever we did before the park opened for season pass holders, he was always friendly and respectful. Today, I got to see a completely different side of him. Not only was he helping customers, but he was also helping his coworkers whenever they had questions or got stuck. The managers wear blue, and while Logan wasn't wearing blue, he stepped up and took charge when things got busy. He helped solve problems, answered questions, kept things moving, and made sure both guests and employees were taken care of. What impressed me most was how calm he stayed. Even with a crowd of people waiting and employees needing assistance, he never seemed overwhelmed. He was patient, professional, and focused on making sure everything ran smoothly. He also made the experience fun for the kids. When my boys were trying on their new season passes, Logan had them move their arms in circles to make sure the passes wouldn't fall off. It was a simple thing, but he turned it into a fun moment instead of just another task. My boys loved it and were smiling the whole time. As a customer, it's refreshing to see an employee who genuinely cares about helping others and making things better for both guests and coworkers. Logan showed leadership, initiative, patience, and a strong work ethic throughout my visit. Cowabunga Canyon is lucky to have employees like Logan. He turned what could have been a stressful experience into a smooth and enjoyable one, and I hope his hard work gets recognized.

They wanted to serve our food ASAP we asked to wait until the rest of our party showed up. When the food did arrive it was cold. Not a good experience
