I just walked out the shop , I had 2 idiots talk to me and laugh at my questions just because I asked if they buy sports cards or Pokemon , I was driving by and didn't really check it out online before coming in customer service ass and trust me I sold the gift bundle to LA sports cards for 150$ you guys look broke yet laughing at your customers Save yourself the trip there's 100% better stores with better prices and 100% better customer service

I live nearby and have been coming here for years. It's a great place to make friends and form a community. I've played everything from board games, MTG, D&D, and Warhammer. In fact, this store has a fast-growing Warhammer 40K community, with an active league of 30+ players (and even more if you count casual players). Stop on by if you have even a passing interest on any type of tabletop games!

I'm a private Pokémon card collector that has never ventured into the world of buy/sell/trade, so I decided I'd call a few shops in the area to see what they'd recommend, and this is exactly how this conversation went. Guy answers phone, i asked him if he had a minute to answer a couple questions i had. "i mean i have a few people I'm helping right now but yeah sure" I proceed to explain that i was looking for guidance or advice on how to offload my extensive Pokémon card collection as I'm moving out of the area, and i was wondering if they had a buyer or something of the sort that would sit down with me and run through it to see what they're willing to buy, etc. He responds, "oookay. Are you planning on paying someone for that?" Confused, i asked what he meant? "Basically what I'm getting at is no, we don't do that. I have a guy here that's really knowledgeable about that kinda stuff but i wouldn't wanna waste his time" I thanked him for his "candid" (read: completely rude) response and that i would look elsewhere. Needless to say I'll never step foot here again.

We didn't know the family or child well, only that he was turning four and has an older brother. I purposely wanted to shop local and support an independent business, and a quick search on Yelp led me here. We arrived about an hour before closing on Saturday, which was great because parking meters end at 4pm and we found parking out front easily. We were greeted by an employee behind the desk as we walked in. She asked if there was anything she could help us find, and I let her know we were first time customers looking for a birthday gift with the details mentioned above. She let us know the layout of the store, her suggestions, but let us look freely. Over time more customers arrived with small children, and received the same courteous service. The store is clean and curated. I appreciated seeing well made toys and items inspiring imaginative play, rather than cheap plastic with distracting lights or sounds. I eventually chose a doctor play set as well as some items for my own children, such as animal figures and stamp markers. They offer free gift wrapping, which is a nice touch. The one alarming fact that stood out is that there were many empty storefronts on their block, so it's more important than ever to support our local economy. Their prices reflect investment in well made items, so I would not come here expecting big box store deals. In a world full of Target and Amazon, I would rather spend my money supporting a local, independent business. We had a great experience here and will definitely be back with our kids this holiday season.

My partner, his cousin,…read moreand I stumbled upon this cafe as we needed a place where we can work and we are so glad that we got to go here! Food/Drink: We came here towards the end of May and they had a Fruit Salad Hojicha, BBQ Ribs Latte, & a Baja Blast Matcha tonic on their menus. Of course we all thought those were interesting! What was fascinating is that they had the hojicha + latte on tap and they rotate every month. I got a sample of both and we were all surprised with how amazing their drinks are!! The Fruit Salad Hojicha had a fruit hojicha latte base and they topped it off with some kind of fruit cold foam. I personally am not that much of a hojicha drinker, but it was insane how quickly this drink turned me into one! I legit went back 2 days later with a different group of friends because of how good the drink was! The drink was not too sweet and I really enjoyed the balance of hojicha and fruit. One did not overpower the other and I was amazed. Service: Amazing! I was torn on what drink on tap to get and the lady up front offered samples to me and my party. I am so grateful she did because I was so close to not even purchasing a drink as I was so hesitant, but the Fruit Salad Hojicha definitely locked me in! Ambiance: Such a huge space with lots of outlets. There were also some tabletop games in the corner. The day I came back with my friends, I actually brought our favorite game and it was so cool that we got to play there with their drinks! Overall, this place is a gem and I truly love this concept! My friends and I will definitely be back to play games & try their rotating drinks on tap! :)

Staff here is great. They're friendly and very informative which is always a nice sight to see for newcomers. In the back, you'll find many tables where people visit to play all types of games. Ranging from board games, cards, DnD, and list goes on. Best part is that you can try all types of games for free. My wife and I visited with some friends and we had such a wonderful time playing board games. Time flew by so fast as we were all having fun. I'd say the tables could use some cleaning but very spacious overall. Parking is out in the back but it's pretty limited. Street parking is also available but watch out for time slots. Overall, very happy about Odyssey Games, very much a must visit spot if you love board games. Place can get packed as you'll often find plenty of people here. A few weeks ago I was looking to get some games to play with my family. My sister gave me 3 recommendations (Ito, Things in Rings, Hot Streak). I walked in and, after taking a few rounds through the densely stocked rows and shelves, and, not finding any of them, asked for help. They had two of the games so I got them. We've played Things with Rings (basically figuring out Venn diagram categories) several times at family game night and are starting to get the hang of it. It's a large shop (especially for games and figurines), and they host events too. Definitely a fun place to browse and get new games.
