Hello! Thank you for your question. We do sell Yu-Gi-Oh sealed product and we do buy Magic singles. Please come by any time and bring all your magic cards!

Do you sell Yu-gi-oh OCG cards?

We sell Yu-Gi-Oh sealed product that is still in print. That includes booster packs, booster boxes, and preconstructed decks. We do typically have some product that's recently out of print.

Do they sell Pokémon booster boxes?

We do sell Pokemon booster boxes and packs. We always have everything in stock that is in print and some older stuff. We have elite trainers, GX boxes, and structure decks also.

At what time and day do the yu gi oh competitions start?

Thursdays at 8pm.

Do they do you yu gi oh tournaments?

Yes! We have yugioh tournaments on thursdays

Do D&D groups meet up here? I'd love to join a campaign but haven't been able to find one!

Yes we do! We have D&D every Sunday starting at 11am!

They offer gift cards in case you dont know what to get for your hobby friend. Trust me, idk what my husband has in his back log so it was easier for me to get him a gift card than to get him something he already has.

But with their rising cost for pre-releases and the insane low balling they have given me when asking for trade ins I have been going to other stores more now especially since their move into Northridge. This is a great place to play, especially when your bringing your own deck but any limited format is a higher price than average. We shouldn't let these stores normalize these prices. I can only speak on MTG pricing and trades I have no idea if this is the same for Pokemon and Lorcana etc. I do build Gunpla and their Gunpla pricing is pretty fair but I feel like the Gunpla is really just an afterthought at this store and the sets they have on display are not anything to write home about. I don't remember seeing them selling a bunch of tools to help builders step up their building either. I would much rather buy from a Hobby Shop that's actually dedicated to the craft.

The way I was treated during a recent return was extremely disappointing…read more I came into the store with my receipt to return an item. I was told by an employee named Panda that the item could not be returned because it had been opened. I understand that businesses have return policies, but as a consumer, how are you supposed to know whether an item works or meets your needs without opening and trying it? What bothered me most was not the policy itself, but the attitude and lack of customer service. Instead of simply explaining, "Unfortunately, once this item is opened, it is considered final sale," I was met with an unnecessarily cold and dismissive attitude. We asked to speak with a manager, and another employee came out with an attitude as well and told us they were not going to process the return. We eventually spoke with the owner, who was understanding and approved the return. When Panda came back to process it, he snatched the receipt out of my hand and completed the return with the same cold attitude. I want to be clear: if the policy had been explained to me politely and respectfully from the beginning, I would have accepted it and walked away. Customers should not have to argue or escalate a situation just to be treated with basic courtesy. Employees represent the business. Regardless of how much a customer spends, everyone deserves to be treated respectfully. Unfortunately, because of this experience and the way we were treated, we will not be returning to this store. A simple, respectful explanation could have completely changed the outcome of this interaction

I love this shop! My friends and I were looking for a place to play Modern. These guys run a Cash Event on Mondays that has been an absolute blast to play in. The crowd that attends is good-natured and the tournament is well managed. The singles for sale are well organized and the staff is highly knowledgeable on MtG current events and trends. I highly recommend checking this LGS out if you are a Magic fan! Make sure to sign up for pre-releases early! They have a tendency to sell out. read more

Great store for all your board game, tabletop and collectible card game needs! I frequently make purchases here and the prices are very competitive to other places I'm seeing online. Support your local game shops! Another thing worth mentioning is how nice the staff is. Matt, in particular, has been super accommodating to me and always looking to make my experience better. This spot has been the most friendly and welcoming to me as a total new guy jerk to magic. The atmosphere is super fun and not full of 12 year olds that get dropped off by their parents and then destroy you in two turns and make you feel super awkward and sad about your life. I am not sorry to give such a poor review but vaccination cards are NOT being checked when a player registers for an event. That is against the state mandate. Also, when I used to go to turn zero games, the playerbase there are mostly smokers/vapors. At any given day, there could be upwards of 5 to 10 people smoking/vaping out side the store. Chill and very knowledgeable people both behind the counter and their regulars who come through to play. They really care about their players! The store usually has meta-relevant cards that you can pick up to build your decks as well as the high-rarity singles to bling your deck with. Super clean and organized store as well, they've been really improving everyday since I started going there and it's always an incentive to keep coming back to play!

The first thing my partner noted was that she felt safe and welcomed in the store, which I thought was especially great. The best part of it all? The same Pre-Release Box was being sold for a fair price of $35! We opened our boxes and got 3 hits from the set! The employees were so nice and gave us sleeves and card protectors - no questions asked! We had such a great experience here that we will now actively try to support this specific store. It's clear that Crown City cares about creating a welcoming environment for its customers, and we're happy to have found a local game store that we can feel good about supporting.

After finishing up, we went back to quickly check it out. We went through the front door and then followed a sign that lead to another door with a set of stairs leading to the bottom of the building. On our way down we saw banners on the wall, a bulletin board at the bottom, and a choice to go left or right. We veered to the right and found gaming tables and shelves and tables filled with games to buy. They had three 3D printers running and other gaming tables located on the other side of the store and game figures/models and paints as well as a restroom, shelf full of snacks, and cashier counter were their trading cards were for purchase. I ended up buying a game I saw on TikTok and had checked the price on Amazon to see if it would be cheaper, but it was actually the same price in store as online. Nick helped ring me up and informed me that they had game board nights on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm where people bring their own games and have had about 20 people show up for their last one. They are thinking of expanding to have more game nights take place on Sunday and have been open for 7 months now. Excited to come back and hopefully to snag some Pokémon cards when they are in stock.
